If anything, could be the name of the Kingdom Hearts 3 demo like FF15's demo was named Episode Duscae. That's why that mysterious list that appeared to have said Attraction Flow underneath the 2.9 section.

 

I don't get why people are saying BBS0.2 is the demo of KH3 because main reasons: 1) It is linked but is basically NOT a demo of KH3 and 2) Attraction Flow is the system where Sora can use rides to defeat heartless. How on earth would Aqua suddenly have the power to activate this when she's still stuck in the ROD?

I personally think it doesn't exist. Kingdom Hearts III demo should be called Kingdom Hearts III demo not Kingdom Hearts 2.9 . If it was to exist after KH 2.8 then it should be Kingdom Hearts III Prologue(Like MGS Ground Zeroes) or a collection of all HD collections for PS4.

Nah. If it was anything, it was probably the working title for KH HD 2.8, since it's supposed to be the last stop before KH3. But I guess SE/Nomura thought that 2.8 would be better since it's a rounded 2.75 (i.e., in between 2 and 3), so they changed it to that.

One could ask the same about Sora suddenly getting that power. It could totally happen, there are a lot of worlds that fell into the RoD when Ansem became active, Aqua could get power from them.I really think 0.2 will have KH3 gameplay set to the story of BbSv2. We know from the description that the game will be framed by Mickey finally telling Sora and Riku everything he knows. Aqua's story could be how Sora learns about Attraction Flow in the first place.Personally, no, I don't think it does, or rather, I think 2.8 is 2.9. But I wish it where real and that it would be 1.5, 2.5, 2.8 and KH3 demo where we actually play as Sora through a world, like Kingdom of Corona for example, on PS4, maybe XBO too if they can figure out how to make the touch functions work without a pad. I mean, there's no reason they can't be on PS4 now that the issue with Utada has been ironed out, as 3D's presence on the PS4 proves. And while we're asking the impossible why not make Days, Re:coded and χBC playable too. We could play as the Foretellers. Also, give KHFM a Theater Mode and make it so that Deep Dive doesn't outright replace Another Side, Another Story.

I honestly don't care. What really baffles me is that even after 2.8 just got announced, people are still asking for 2.9 as well. Smh...

They'll probably release 1.5 and 2.5 seperately at some point... Gotta milk the series for all it's worth. Then after KH3 releases they will release a Dark Seeker Saga Collection.

Sora got the power from Yen Sid. It's been confirmed. Makes sense too. Soo...

This is what I don't get when people say that Square is purely doing all of this just because they're greedy. I'm not arguing that they aren't, but it's the fans themselves who seem to have a masochistic desire to see more and more releases and re-releases. Square's just doing what they want, honestly.

I guess you meant between 2.5 and 3 And, I actually thought it was named 2.8 Because of BBS0.2 ... 0.2=Volume 2 and 0.2 + 2.8 = 3...I guess Nomura wanted to show that this would be the last title connecting everything to KH3 while staying in 1.5, 2.5 naming convention. They couldn't call BBS 0.1... that wouldn't make sense.

I think Kingdom Hearts 2.9 = Kingdom Hearts 2.8. Nomura said a while back that it was time to start working on Kingdom Hearts 3, and while he's giving us a little taste test of what 3 will be like, I don't think he's going to bog us down with game after game until it's done. He knows how greedily the fans lap up anything KH3 related; he wouldn't kill that hype.

Jeez, so many doubters. Even after a Dream Drop Distance HD reveal, I guess some people just aren't going to be convinced of ANY possibility. At this point, I was so surprised by 2.8's existence, I figure, why the hell not? I welcome the possibility of one more KH3 demo featuring Sora as the playable character, as well as a master collection of the entire HD ReMIX Prologue saga (my own little name for it)! X3

If I had to get at this point - it would be 2.8

I'm not sure what it is but I like everyone I bet we all want it to come out like NOW because I really need to find out what happened to aqua in the realm of darkness like what could she have been doing there for 12 years. It was so sad to see her go there and wonder around like that after se made so many sacrifices;.
