somedayhunchback 213 Posted September 16, 2015 It will be another year of waiting for Kingdom Hearts 3 I just hope that Square Eninx can fill next year up with plenty of trailers and information about new worlds and slowly introduce all the characters that will be in Kingdom Hearts 3 and more information and game play that gumi ships will be like! Ven983 490 Posted September 16, 2015 It really depends on how late they plan to release KH3 in 2017. If it is later in the year they may wait to reveal a lot of things at E3 2017 or TGS 2017. If they confirm like it's going to be March 2017 for example I will know I have to wait 18 months. But right now I am not sure wheter it's going to be 13, 18, 20, 22 months. Don't encourage them. I really doubt it's gonna go to 2018, and hope it doesn't come to that. 4 years of development is definitely more than enough for a more cartoony game. That's pretty much the golden amount of time to work out the kinks, especially with a game that isn't going for the realistic aesthetic. I do think that with the support that disney seems to want to give out for this game now, it may have a much shorter gap for the japan--western releases. If we're lucky, there won't be any gap. I like the idea of 2.8, well besides the HD remake of KH3D but also to complete the PAST gap of the game (KHBBS). This just means that the game will probably come out in 2017, and as such, will be the game that celebrates the 15th Anniversary of the series, as I, and a few others on this website, have speculated now and then!
