Gwynbleidd 551 Posted September 13, 2015 NOPE. For the love of Dolan, please don't have a musical.
Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted September 13, 2015 Am I the only one who didn't mind the musical I don't want a musical in KH3 just because I'd rather see an actual fighting story. That's why I want Frozen but I don't want the musical part... 1 Oli reacted to this
Guest Posted September 13, 2015 Just have musical segments be optional cinematic cutscenes. Have popular songs have a Kingdom Hearts twist to them.
KH4Real 749 Posted September 13, 2015 Lol good one Kairi in cell while Sora is singing.
EternalChange 303 Posted September 13, 2015 If Kingdom Hearts 3 has a musical section, it will be a autotune remix of all the fans freaking out over the release. 1 DJ369 reacted to this
Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted September 13, 2015 (edited) They only did it in KH2 because they realized how unbalanced combat was in Atlantica in the first game. I mean, enemies could attack from any angle, including below, at any time, with no warning and we couldn't even dodge or guard! They couldn't figure out how to improve it in KH2, so they decided to eliminate combat for that world altogether and make it a mini-game world. So no, they won't because they don't need to. Dave 5,715 Posted September 13, 2015 Pfft. Like Kairi wasn't having musical numbers while Sora was sleeping for a year. On topic, I actually like the musical idea. The only thing that stopped me from fully enjoying Atlantica was that the original songs written for the game had lousy lyrics (though I wonder if that's a translation thing). If a good amount of effort was put in, it'd be fine.
lehahiah81 60 Posted September 15, 2015 (edited) I'd be ok if we had some fighting sequences that were rhythm based sort of similar to the duels in the original dark cloud for some of the mini bosses or the theatre scene in final fanatasy 9, but that's not really musical that's just matching button presses for certain fights. I feel it could make for interesting scenes if it were handled that way like it was done in final fantasy 9 where it actually felt important. Iscreamer1 100 Posted September 20, 2015 It would ruin the darker ambitions of the "more-mature" story I am expecting.
Connected 978 Posted September 20, 2015 Please no..
Vexen 73 Posted September 20, 2015 The musical in Atlantica was extremely cringe-worthy.

KingdomHearts3 2,591 Posted September 21, 2015 It was all nicey nice, but NOT WITH A LEGENDARY TITLE SUCH AS KINGDOM HEARTS 3!!!!!!!!!!! This title is way too deep to have one! Plus, this title will be the darkest of all the titles in the series!
