Screentime for the villians

Now that the majority of Xehanort's plans have been revealed in KH3D, do you think Xehanort and his followers will have more screentime in Kingdom Hearts III compared to the previous games? Like scenes of plotting, planning and whatnot in Org XIII HQ?

I hope so, personally I enjoyed the added 2.5 cutscenes which showed the organisation members discussing various aspects of the plot in KH2, also KH got this right with the Council of Villains, so it would make sense to see in cutscenes the SoDs perspective too, also you could use scenes to hint at who is the next SoD to be revealed etc, as a side note I hope Maleficient and Pete get good screen time too, it would be a shame to make them reduced to practically pointless characters, especially since we know they want the Tome for themselves so they have a valid reason to be important

Especially I'd like to see Xehanort say among this line "If we're going to get Sora as my new vessel sucessfully, we're going to kill each and every one of his friends one by one."

I'm pretty sure they will have more screentime . They actually should have more screentime (it'd be a great idea if they would show us one by one who are the rest of the Org.XIII members ) . They are the main antagonists . I also think that both Pete and Maleficent should have some more screentime , too . They were the main antagonists in Re:Coded but still .

yea the extra scenes in KH2FM helped to make the Organization 13 members not seem so random whenever they appeared. helped to establish their presence in the story, even if they didn't stick around for long

I, for one, love villains, and as such, if Kingdom Hearts III gives screentime to the villains the story will have, then hell yeah, I'm all up for it!  Like the famous saying goes: "For every great hero, there's a greater villain!"  And I mean seriously, considering the huge threat the Seekers Of Darkness and Maleficent and Pete pose, it wouldn't be fair if we didn't get to see them often throughout the game, you know?

 

And the screentime we do get from them doesn't always have to be evil plotting.  The screentime for the villains could be used to show each individual seeker's thoughts on the events at hand, what they think of all this, etc.  I, for one, think that Braig's gonna have a lot of scenes where he thinks whether or not he should take out the old coot himself, and become the top honcho!  And I could imagine Young Xehanort calmly conversing with the others.  Gahhh, I want villain character development, for sure! X_X

Oh definitely, because the 13 darkness's are just as much of a contribute to the Keyblade War as the 7 lights, it's evident that they'll have plenty of spotlight.

I'm hoping so. I'm wanting more scenes in general with better development and pacing. I want the worlds to be longer as so far they've felt VERY  watered down, and really short. Most of the length seems to come from grinding.

Speaking of the council of villains in KH1, i really enjoyed their meetings..it was kind of a heads up for Disney fans..They were all silhouetted out and it gave us an idea of what worlds we might see later on in the game..I hope the reintroduce this with the newer villains for KH3

Exactly, it was done in a tasteful way which not only confirmed as you said various new worlds, but showed the other side to the first kingdom hearts, I mean until Hollow Bastion, we all assumed they were the main threat not Ansem SOD
