Yu Narukami 55 Posted October 15, 2015 Can someone tell me the translations for the proud quest challenges? On each of the second stages, the 3rd challenge would reward you a rank 6 medal, but all I can tell is that it says somthing about "clearing the stage.... with a rank 5 medal deck"?? What is the full translation for the challenges??

What is the full translation for the challenges?? the third challenge on the second level quests should be to clear the quest with a deck that only has 5* or below medals (so no 6* medals)! BloomyBlondeHearts 9 Posted October 16, 2015 Can someone tell me how I can use the abilities on my keyblade (or how to get abilites on my keyblade for that matter, lol.) Been looking at a translation for some of the challenges and some of them want you to use abilities.
minamoto 28 Posted October 16, 2015 (edited) Can someone tell me how I can use the abilities on my keyblade (or how to get abilites on my keyblade for that matter, lol.) Been looking at a translation for some of the challenges and some of them want you to use abilities. abilities are attached to medals, so you'll have to equip a medal with the specific skills attached. you can activate it by dragging the medal while in combat! each medal comes with an ability but certain challenges also require you to use a skill, which will randomly activate. you can get skills either by drawing a medal with one attached from the jewel-only raise draw, or by attaching one to a medal with a scrooge medal. hope that helps! EDIT: i got mixed up between abilities and skills lol oops Edited October 17, 2015 by minamoto
BloomyBlondeHearts 9 Posted October 17, 2015 Ah, cool! Thank you so much! Now I just need to figure out how to fill up the ability dots. I'm VERY lost on that. All the guides I've found just leave more confused than before.

minamoto 28 Posted October 22, 2015 Where can I get more orichalcums? How many are available at this point? im lv 201 and have done all 275 quests so far, but not completed a chunk of challenges. There are currently only 12 orichalcums available - 11 from the 275 story quests and 1 from the third challenge of the first power proud quest (clear the quest with only magic medals in your deck). Hope that helps!

roxasxnamine85@gmail.com 0 Posted October 23, 2015 Can someone help me? When I go to the screen to see what medals I have, I have a lot of Merlin, Yensid, Mickey, Chip 'n Dale, and Chesire Cat medals. But when I go to the sell screen, the only medals that appear are the medals I use in my deck. Did I do something wrong? Is there a option that brings the extra medals to the sell screen? Also, what does the option on the title screen do?

minamoto 28 Posted October 25, 2015 Yep! it's fordownloading resources for repair, whatever that means. i (accidentally) went through the download earlier today and i really don't think that anything's changed and the button's still there so if your game's functioning normally, there's probably no need to touch it. Ah, I just thought that it was going to delete everything I did, or install an update to the game, but still erase everything. Did you lose anything after the download? BloomyBlondeHearts 9 Posted October 25, 2015 sorry for linking my own blog, but i wrote up a guide to upgrading abilities myself - maybe that could be of some help? (if it isn't, i can clarify anything!) Hi again! Thanks again for linking me to your guide on the abilities. I was reading through it again and I'm a bit confused on one part of it. In your Edited note is says that: it isn’t quite accurate. say you were to synth two five-stars that each have been upgraded once together - it’ll only preview two dots total being filled in, but the end result will still be all three. What does that mean exactly? Does this apply to having the same exact metals with abilities in them already? Are there other medals that give you abilities? Sorry, I'm just a bit lost on this part here.

Sorry, I'm just a bit lost on this part here. no worries! i should probably clear that wording up - basically, the preview doesn't take into account any ability upgrades that the medals you're adding on already have. So if you were to synthesize a five star ・ with another five star ・, the preview will just show you ・・ despite the fact that it should be ・・・. i took these for the blog (and never uploaded them, oops) - it's not quite the same example, but i synthesized a 3・ riku with a 1・. the end result was in fact 5・, but the preview only showed 4・. i hope that makes sense! Yes, I think so, thank you! With the medals you use to add the abilities themselves, do they have to be filled up all the way before adding them to another medal to get all the dots filled? I get they have to be the same rarity (though you mentioned you combined a 3 star with a 1 star and got a 5 star), but do they all have to be filled up as well? (that was just from the end of my rush to max out the 2.8 medals before the end of the event.) Adding a 'blank' medal will fill in one dot by itself. If the medal you're adding already has dots filled in, the base medal will have that number + 1 filled in at the end. (And sorry - those ・ weren't stars, they were dots - i just got lazy lmfao)

I think I'm in trouble then for that since I have I Riku metal from 2.8 and never got to max it out before the event ended. And for blank medals, does that mean they can be completely blank? No exp filled up or anything like that? Sorry for all of the questions, I just want to be sure before I level up any more medals to gold without adding abilities to them. I did that to quite a few already and now I'm regretting it. And thanks for the clarification, lol. My bad.

And thanks for the clarification, lol. My bad. No need to apologize! And yes, unfortunately you'd need six copies of each medal to obtain a fully upgraded 6-star. And yeah, they can be totally new, no need to level them at all! This might help you in the future - I ended up diagramming out the most cost-efficient way to get a maxed 6-star during the 2.8 event (with some help from people here ).
