The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted September 4, 2015 Hey there everyone, how's it going? So then, thanks to a talk I was having with VenFox34, I'm curious as to if there will be a new difficulty mode in Kingdom Hearts III? If there were to be another difficulty setting beyond Critical Mode, I think it only fitting that the difficulty be called Keyblade Master Mode! This would basically be the ultimate test of your skills, and it'd provide a juicy challenge! So, what do you think? Would a difficulty like this be possible? Or do you think Critical Mode will be as far as we get in terms of difficulty settings for the series? 1 Gwynbleidd reacted to this
KeybladeLordCheeseCurd 1,542 Posted September 4, 2015 Naxshe22 already did that for his KH2FM mod. Twice. Critical+ and Critical +: Struggle Mode. Difference between the two? Struggle Mode makes you use the freaking Struggle Bat. But a Keyblade Master Mode for KH3 would be cool. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

And yeah, it'd be cool if Keyblade Master Mode was a difficulty setting in KH3. 1 KeybladeLordCheeseCurd reacted to this
Ninkoro 123 Posted September 4, 2015 Well i mean crit mode on 3D + the small screen was hell in fast pased battles, you literally stood no chance. But since we're getting the amazing kh2 distant camera once again, difficulty will actually be fun rather than infuriating. Bring on the keymaster mode! 2 The Transcendent Key and Darku Scarlet reacted to this
Hearts Creed 142 Posted September 4, 2015 For me personally, critical mode is more than enough, but if people really need to be more challenged, then by all means, go for it. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
Headphone Jack 1,147 Posted September 4, 2015 (edited) i would think that it'd go beginner< normal< proud< critical< Lvl.1 Run so like a new difficulty isnt really needed. critical is fine as it is and if i want more of a challenge i can do a lvl. 1 run Edited September 4, 2015 by Headphone Jack 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
Gwynbleidd 551 Posted September 4, 2015 Critical becomes too easy at LV99. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
Pokemoncuzzie 271 Posted September 4, 2015 Critical becomes too easy at LV99. Hence the Level One mode. But yeah it's true. Plus you can farm attack boost and stuff if even level 99 wasn't enough 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
Anu Jallandhra 5 Posted September 4, 2015 Hahah, from the title it sounded like something similar to drive form for KH3 in which he taps into the hidden power of the keyblade and enters this super OP/awesome Keyblade Master Mode. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
The 13th Kenpachi 4,279 Posted September 4, 2015 Keyblade Master Mode includes: Donald swearing at you in Japanese every time you move Braig constantly shooting at you Isa telling you to 'Move ASIDE' every 0.2 seconds Xemnas throwing buildings at you You die in 1 hit You can't use the keyblade and instead Sora fights with a paopu fruit. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
Enix 995 Posted September 4, 2015 How about a mode where you play as a different character with no story involved? Maybe......Xehanort mode? 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted September 6, 2015 Haha, all of your thoughts on this are very interesting! Haha, I wonder if anyone from Square Enix working on Kingdom Hearts III is looking at this? X3 1 Gwynbleidd reacted to this
Gwynbleidd 551 Posted September 6, 2015 Who knows? Let's just hope that they do visit this site often and take in our feedback. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted September 7, 2015 Who knows? Let's just hope that they do visit this site often and take in our feedback. That would be so cool! Well, considering that this site and KHInsider are the most visited KH related sites, I'm sure Nomura and the gang have taken notice, ya know?
KingdomHearts3 2,591 Posted September 7, 2015 Sounds cool, but they probably will have the regular easy, standard, proud, and critical modes. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

I don't think Regular Mode exists anymore. X3 It was changed to Standard, if I'm not mistaken. So it'd be Beginner, Standard, Proud and Critical. I'm sorry. I meant to say the usual four modes that we have seen before. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
