Guest Posted September 3, 2015 (edited) Fantasia 2000 was originally supposed to be in Kingdom Hearts 3D but was ultimately scrapped... potentially for Kingdom Hearts 3? Fantasia was positively received for incorporating an abstract movie and making the most out of its music. I can imagine Jack in the box being the boss battle for this world whilst the Pheonix is a difficult secret boss battle! Felixx 6,646 Posted September 3, 2015 (edited) Symphony of Sorcery - one of the best Kingdom Hearts worlds so far! The design of the world, the music, just amazing. Fantasia 2000 has to happen, and I think it will, considering many fans liked Symphony of Sorcery, and it has a lot of potential. Fantasia 2000 has to happen, and I think it will, considering many fans liked Symphony of Sorcery, and it has a lot of potential. I think it's in the category of The Jungle Book and Toy Story for being a world that will be more likely featured. I hope they incorporate the classical music of Fantasia 2000 in this world because that was part of the appeal of that world.

Setrex 1,031 Posted September 3, 2015 The Firebird Suite is definitely one of the best segments in either Fantasia and I'd love to see it represented in KH3.

I'm glad this returning world is not getting any negative feedback so far  The Firebird Suite is definitely one of the best segments in either Fantasia and I'd love to see it represented in KH3. I'm glad you have this opinion: I hope that "mother nature" as I like to call her is involved in The Firebird Suite segment:
WakingDawn96 1,166 Posted September 3, 2015 If it can't be in KH3, it needs to be in some future KH game! The big thing about the world in 3D was how there was mainly music and only talking when the cutscenes were to motion. I think this was a brilliant idea given how annoying grunts can be after awhile and it gave the player a break from hearing grunts to hear musical elements. This was seriously one of the best worlds in KH period, and I would love to see a fresh take on the world in a future KH game! Plus, since they want to make worlds have new map areas, then this would be the perfect world because they could easily make whole new locations based on 2000! Exactly, Fantasia was a musical world done right. (If only KH2 Atlantica was anything like The Symphony Of Sorcery). Imagine the beauty of all the possible Fantasia 2000 worlds in the Kingdom Shader, and with the power of the Unreal Engine 4, this world is going to be complete eye-candy if it makes it in the game!
Ninkoro 123 Posted September 3, 2015 Personally i felt the surreal and dream-like fantasia universe fit perfectly as a sleeping world. I honestly don't see how they could add npc's considering mickey is grown up and mysterious tower has drifted to twilight town.

I honestly don't see how they could add npc's considering mickey is grown up and mysterious tower has drifted to twilight town. Fantasia is a special case in which NPC's aren't required. The original movie were a segment of animated shorts in conjunction with memorable classical music. Fantasia 2000 on the other hand should only have mother nature, the flying whales, and the abstract people from the city!
twilight_roxas 326 Posted September 4, 2015 So it would like the first Symphony of Sorcery were there's no battle theme, and no speaking except for cutscenes?

I cant think of one world in the entire kh universe that had 0 npc's. Friendship is a requirement in kh.
Guest Posted September 4, 2015 So it would like the first Symphony of Sorcery were there's no battle theme, and no speaking except for cutscenes? Well, seeing as Sora is travelling with Donald and Goofy: speaking will be involved but it would be very minimal (like The End Of The World in Kingdom Hearts 1). I'll explain it easily. In Dream Drop Distance Sora nor Riku doesn't make sounds when there fighting Nightmares, there keyblades when striking a nightmare makes musical sounds. IwasBornAsVentus 396 Posted September 4, 2015 (edited) In my personal opinion when it comes to worlds I love when there is npc's walking around to me it makes the world much more real and connecting to the film it's portraying. So I actually really missed the unicorns, pegasus, centaurs and the other characters that was in the movie cause they were not featured in DDD. Here Im hoping this won't be the case for Fantasia 2000 since it's even bigger and have a better chance with unreal engine 4. Then if Fantasia 2000 would happen they haft to include also these I remember really loving that Flamingo and the whale sequence was thrilling when watching it for the first time. How about a little mini game with the Flamingo. Edited September 4, 2015 by IwasBornAsVentus

I understand the emptiness of not having all the mythical creatures from the original Fantasia being in Kingdom Hearts 3D, however, I think Fantasia 2000 is too abstract to have the Flamingos involved. The whales on the other hand would fit perfectly as a means of transportation and flowmotion. I'll explain it easily. In Dream Drop Distance Sora nor Riku doesn't make sounds when there fighting Nightmares, there keyblades when striking a nightmare makes musical sounds. That should definitely return. It was a trademark sound for The Symphony Of Sorcery that distinguished it from other Disney worlds.
KH4Real 749 Posted September 5, 2015 Kairi and Lea should be in this one. If the worlds will be seperated.

KH4Real 749 Posted September 6, 2015 Unfortunately, that's not going to happen. Traditional numbered titles are Sora's adventures. In an effort to undermine Xehanort’s plot, Sora, Donald and Goofy search for seven guardians of light and the “Key to Return Hearts,” while King Mickey and Riku search for previous Keyblade wielders." So we need to follow also Mickey and Riku stories ok Nomura said that Sora will be the main character but that some other characters wil lbe playable. That can mean to follow their story. Besides Riku and Mickey would be great for Frozen.

Back to topic, I can see Riku and Mickey being involved in a Fantasia 2000 world for clues of Ventus, Terra, Aqua's whereabouts.

The 13th Kenpachi 4,279 Posted September 6, 2015 Symphony of sorcery in KH3D was one of the best KH worlds ever. The colour scheme was absolutely astonishing and the areas were just so firetrucking marvelous. Imagine fighting Chernabog in KH3 with all the new graphics and features. 1 Felixx reacted to this

Imagine fighting Chernabog in KH3 with all the new graphics and features. And that is exactly why Fantasia 2000 should be in Kingdom Hearts 3. Chernabog was a disappointment in Kingdom Hearts 3D. You know, I would not mind a return of Chernabog. The surprising thing about Chernabog is that he's always summoned by an incarnation of Xehanort.
