Scrapmaster 1,731 Posted October 30, 2015 (edited) Gabriel's the most trusted guy. Im alright with that. And as for the earlier argument here. I dont think it was a fight anymore than bad wording. Guest Posted October 30, 2015 Whew, finally posted! Sorry for the delay. Also, Sabre, quick question: because I cannot decide, would you like Ari to try taking over the empire alongside Chrysalis, or should she send Chrysalis away, ending all angelic influence and going slaughter-happy? Guys, please. Don't fight; it's not worth it. I think Unversed could've been more tactfully worded because I thought it was harsh myself, but let's not blow this out of proportion, okay? I don't think Vaude was trying to "slaughter" anybody. Everyone's being too blunt. : P I wasn't fighting, I was quoting Dynasty Warriors Precisely. Unversed and Vaude, I suggest you two pipe down. Unversed, you could have been far more tactful in your words or just cut out the insult entirely, even though I could tell you were jesting. Vaude, I am pretty sure Unversed meant no offense, but I understand why you'd be annoyed. But let's be civil here, okay? Also, NeverBetter/Riki...while that was an amusing quote from (Whomever that was) from Dynasty Warriors, it did nothing to help the situation. My only skill at defusing a situation is making a joke, Dynasty Warrior's just came to mind.

Actually, you're pretty good at talking fighting individuals down, judging by experience. And that is true, all you did was make a joke. I'm just glad nothing more came of that whole thing really. She's fickle, changes her mind (and mood) in an instant, and just overall loves solely herself. It would be interesting if she manages to earn Korben's trust later, however. I wasn't fighting, I was quoting Dynasty Warriors My only skill at defusing a situation is making a joke, Dynasty Warrior's just came to mind. Oh, gotcha! That makes so much more sense now. Shulk 8,623 Posted October 31, 2015 You think Peashy's 2nd goddess form is overpowered haha , In Peashy's past so far Peashy's been killed by Plutia, beaten by Korben even while uses her 3rd goddess form & Henry...well that was just too easy to even start that fight . wheres your head at man? you must be late to the party haha . This is a world with 3 immortals, powerful demons (one with a small army), superhumans that transform (me), maigcal elfs, strong as Tanzynite users & alot of other interesting characters with cool powers & that's 1 of the reasons what makes this RP great! Also I'll explain in greater detail on what I mean by the first hit on Peashy with her mini shields just so it's clear to everyone. IItNever has the right idea too, Hit Peashy twice. Every first hit on Peashy will be absorbed by one of the shields but not the second hit, get it? EXAMPLE: Henry hits Peashy in the face with a physical attack but it got absorbed by the physical mini shield, Henry quickly acts again hitting Peashy again with another physical attack but this time it hits Peashy in the face for real as it wasn't the first hit. Also the mini shields will reset if her opponent(s) stop their attacks on her, allowing the mini shields to begin floating around her again ready to block the next first attack on her. I hope this will clear everything. Also here's an updated characters list to everyone Hope I didn't miss anything. Empire side: Leader is Emperor Korben (Presumed Human Tanzynite User Sorcerer) Ariana Cabret (Human Tanzynite User & right hand woman to Emperor Korben) Rika Hunter - Code-Name: Chrysalis (Human experimental Tanzynite User) Gabriel Stross AKA: The mute or Omega (Human Mechanical lord) Tekanorojia Zimm (Human/Demon with Demonic Powers/suits) (Dead) Peashy or Yellow Heart (Human Goddess) Doctor Julius Verstand or the Doctor (Human Monstrumologist) Rija Ramirez (Human Tanzynite User) Ayane Takahashi - Code-name: Shinobi (Human/Partial Cyborg Natural Telekinetic) Allitt Caelum (Human Tanzynite User) Indy Caelum (Human) Yltriss Hyulli (Elf) Rebellion side: Leader is Commander Eclaire Tonnerre (Human/Succubus Mage) Jadis Sorein (Elf Mage) Derik J. Absolon (Human monster) Tiriel (Immortal Archangel) Vortludo Prince (Human Magical Artifact Wielder) Slade Joseph Wilson (Human Tanzynite User) Yevgeni Malachite or Yev (Human/Angel tanzynite user with Angelic magic) Ryonne Neyelmnik (Human Tanzynite User) Viridem Hangin (Human Tanzynite User) Dr Vay Lea (Human Tanzinite User) Akira 'Crimson Lightning' King (Human Mage) Fiora Fulmen (Human Mage) Victoria du L'ete (Immortal minor Goddess) Brooklyn Mors (Human of the Stream foreseer) Nolan Vigil - Codename: Arkham (Human Tanzynite User) Uzume or Orange Heart (Human Goddess) Criminal Underworld side: No Leader Jeremy Tobias Hunter (Human/Angel & has strong ties to the rebellion) Cyler (Human Tanzynite User) Unknown - Code-Name: Scourge (Human Tanzynite User) Roman Sionis - Aka: Black Mask (Human Tanzynite User) Dex Marthur (Human host to Oryx) Oryx (Ancient demon god) Plutia or Iris Heart (Human Goddess with ties to the empire & was left hand woman to Emperor Korben) David Greene (Naga) Azrael, Embodiment of Chaos (Immortal elder Demon) Die (Human Tanzynite User & Leader of The Crow's Eyes gang) Scherp (Human Tanzynite User & member of The Crow's Eyes gang) Lan (Human Tanzynite User & member of The Crow's Eyes gang) Heksen (Human Tanzynite User & member of The Crow's Eyes gang) Naja (Human Tanzynite User & member of The Crow's Eyes gang) Kol (Human Mage & member of The Crow's Eyes gang) Neutral side: No Leader Mikhail Drak (Witcher & helps the rebellion) Neena Mors (Elf combat mage) Henry Hansees (Human Dread Lord or dreadnaught that helps the rebellion) Tindy (Hound of Tindalos high Demon) Sandrew Kanz (Human Mage) Rufus Contralto (Human Mage & helps the rebellion) Croire (Human Tome) Indy's a Tanzynite user, too. Shulk 8,623 Posted October 31, 2015 I noticed that I did forget to mention that Indy was a Tanzynite User on his sheet, so I went ahead and fixed that. I saw that everyone else was going with some of their older characters, and even though I usually like to make new characters for different types of RPs, I figured that I might as well bring in some of my old favorites as well. Indy was one of my very first characters I wrote (Also the first I gave a proper name I believe, though the origin story behind his name's kind of dumb... I've tried changing it on here, but people insisted that I stick to his old one, so I can't really get away from that I guess. ), and Allitt came a few years later. Indy was written back when I was in middle school, while Allitt was early high school. Fiora came a year after Allitt, if I remember correctly, so I've had all three in my mind for a long time. They've been changed a lot since their initial versions, though, which is definitely a good thing. I wasn't quite the best at writing characters back when I first came up with Indy, and while the other two were a little better, they've definitely improved significantly since then. Getting a good opportunity to toss their old convoluted backstories after I came here was relieving for me. Funnily enough, Indy and Fiora were dating back when I first wrote Fiora... That's kind of a weird thing to remember now.

Scrapmaster 1,731 Posted October 31, 2015 (edited) Speaking of getting to know each other better, what inspired all of you into roleplaying the characters that you have in this RP, or how long have you had said characters? Rufie, my golden star of foolishness, has seen about two years of use and was more of a joke character than anything else, sort of like my hare-brained crossbowman in the Glitz Pit of old. Yltriss is quite new and rather refreshing for me, however. My character, Henry, has been around for 4 years, on an old Rp that has been going strong till today on another forum, I made him when I was pretty much an iliterate in English, needless to say I couldn't make a paragraph post for the life of me at the time, but with persistance, i've bettered my craft to at least acceptable, able to finaly Rp Henry the way I saw him at first. The Great Alliance is His original Rp, my first ever RP i've participated, and believe me, the characters in that Rp were even more broken than in this one Here's the broken character list on the Rp right now. (not my characters, only one thats mine is Henry) Allen: LEader of the alliance, the boy's power is wind...and darkness...and light...and now he has the power over existence itself. Uses the sword of seals, a sword that can absorb and seal unlimited ammounts of power. Xicor: Allen's twin brother, pure electrical being, but his lightning is so powerful he can punch through an EARTH dragon with one charged lightning bolt, also Lightning beyond lightning element state, which increases his lightning power by 10x Scott: Dude's a phoenix, with a legendary sword made of pure fire, this would be all fine and dandy if the dude wasn't able to use ice as well, he can use a fire/ice phoenix mode, he can't die. he just comes back from his ashes. Lord Shadow: Dude can control any sort of shadow, creating beings of shadow, making an entire world of shadow even, (Not kidding, dude made a castle of shadow to mess with a boss once), he is immortal as of now, since his existence hinges on both planes. Now...Henry. Well, Henry's weird, since I was much younger when I made him, my creativity was high As hell, so basically I had the great idea of making a darkness element character. Who could use the bloody elements and combine them in his fighting style, Basically his fighting style hinges on several "Styles" he can switch on the fly. Chaos bringer (Fire + Darkness). Extremely powerful fire attacks as well as massive offensive boost, able to cut through an airship with a single slash Summoner: (WInd + Darkness). Able to conjure and create weapons, beings from another plane or just flat out create them himself, he once made an equivalent of a savage Deviljho from the monster hunter series to fight for him. Soul Reaper (Water + Darkness). Massive dodge boost, as well as the ability to control water, entering a tranquil state so in tune with the existential plane, he can pierce through both the spiritual and physical planes with his sword strikes, ignoring armor altogether. Sentinel (Earth + Darkness). Massive durability boost, with this Henry can make rocks almost indestructible, able to shield himself and his allies, as well as having his strenght increased to the point he fought the Ancient Earth dragon Dialenche in hand to hand combat, and won, (Hate to put this out here riki but that dragon's strenght levels were at least 5x bigger than Derik's, and I do mean your true Derik.) (THis style is also Henry's default power in this RP) Endless abyss: He only tapped into this style once as of now, and he destroyed a whole mechanical archangel (Hostile of course) Colony in less than an hour with it, almost losing control. SIGMA: this is a style in which he fuses with one of his companion's powers, and is able to make pretty much a heck of a laser show. Spirit weaver: another companion fusion style, which boosts his soul reaper style. Edited October 31, 2015 by Scrapmaster
Arya Stark 1,337 Posted October 31, 2015 Oh goodness why'd you have to ask that question I'm on my phone and it's late and I'm in North Carolina but I can't resist Cyler- One of my fav characters period. He does very well in RPs where nearly every character has some unique power, or when there's just in general lots of conflict. Both of those apply here. He's pure bloodlust and power thirst, completely maniacal and destructive and that's what makes him so much fun to use. Vortludo- A character that I wanted to try again after a previous RP died. He was originally meant to be more snarky, and a jerk (see: The Doctor), but when I started playing him it just didn't feel quite right. So I switched it up to be a bit sillier and outrageous, fun and kind-hearted, but overall still capable and productive, and especially kind of is the people's person of the rebels. Neena- If I recall correctly, my first original RP character ever. She was born of a keyblade war RP which, uniquely, had a faction that was devoted to exterminating the keyblade. I joined this faction because I found it an interesting concept, as well as the fact that it was severely undermanned. From there, she's become kind of iconic. She is a zealot that has some points, but has taken them to such extreme levels that they don't really hold any water. She was particularly good for a incarnation in this RP simply because of how it was presented, with Tanzynite being something that bestows great power but also is very destructive, which holds true to the spirit of Neena a lot. Ryonne and Viridem- These two were meant to help bolster the ranks of the rebellion a bit, but they are also some of my favorites. Ryonne in particular is a very cliche character, a cool and quiet swordsman with tremendous skill, yet I always try to present him to be a bit... Different than the trope, by making him so loyal to his cause and people, and a few other things. I always like having a partner for Ryonne, either a different character or one of my own, especially one that is kind of mean and unnecessarily provoking and irritating. Viridem is a newer version of an older character Severa, who is not so integrally linked to Ryonne and has more personality and backstory of her own: She is very stubborn and active, and has a kind of ambition that just feels more potent to me than others. My phone is dyyyhying I'll be back with the rest theoretically 1 Scrapmaster reacted to this
Guest Posted October 31, 2015 It's all good, mate, and I'm sorry too for my wording, if you haven't seen my apology beforehand. I should give people the benefit of the doubt more often, especially folks who I hope to get to know better like yourselves. Speaking of getting to know each other better, what inspired all of you into roleplaying the characters that you have in this RP, or how long have you had said characters? Rufie, my golden star of foolishness, has seen about two years of use and was more of a joke character than anything else, sort of like my hare-brained crossbowman in the Glitz Pit of old. Yltriss is quite new and rather refreshing for me, however. The above is just idle curiosity, as you all have history with each other, apparently. Derik has a looooong history, and his initial development was a long, arduous, painful journey. Originally, I tried to write a character alien to who I was, one who took a different approach to life, but started in a core value sort of way similar to myself. He was cruel, sadistic, and underhanded. I felt a more villainous character as the main for my world made more since due to the idea being that anyone could, with enough persuasion, and efforts made, be the hero of legends. Originally, he started off kind and caring, but quickly after receiving his power, he became cruel and merciless. He also shared many more traits with my other two OC's, the gentle nature from the start is more akin to Sandrew, and his appearance was similar to a mixture of the three in clothing styles, resembled more like Brooklyn in face shape and hair style, though it was kept much shorter or left messy depending on the telling, and was more colorized to a mixture of Sandrew with brown's and yellows, and Brooklyn with some black and dark red. He had powers that revolved around godlyhood, and becoming "perfect", and his beginning powers were similar to that of "Geass" from Code Geass. He even had a different name at the time. Eventually, I went back to the drawing board on the story, as it was a colossal mess, and decided that the core characters had to be remade. After deciding on an actual style of combat, I formed Derik around a similar core concept of "Anyone can be the hero". I decided that he was to be nearly unstoppable, but riddled with flaws in logic and reasoning, his only real concern was to avoid harming the innocent and work towards a better future for all, mainly by protecting everyone. I decided that the other traits I wanted to express (Issues with perfectionism and one with an innocent, kind nature, who will fight to the end) to be entirely different characters on their own. One thing that never changed, however, was his core power set. He was always to be able to use Beams, the Reigns, and minor magic of Thunder, Fire, and a light healing element. However, his skill and usage of these powers, and their extremes, are far different. Originally, Derik was able to do instantaneous movement, or teleportation, to any area and as such abused such abilities and was more of a rush-heavy, tackle-n'-grind style focused on throwing the enemy into objects, to other locations, so on to keep them off their feet and unable to counter. However, as I wrote, I found myself consistently changing the style he used in every fight, I couldn't find a core style to stick to with him that I liked. The technical implementation of Reigns changed slightly from an accessible transformation to being a sort of physical weapon to an actual transformation. The idea behind them is that the form is based around the specialty of the holy group it specifies, save for Grey, which has some backstory of it's own that I don't want to get into. Demons are incredibly good at melee in this world, and as such, Demon Reign focuses on physical restriction's being removed, as well as making pure melee as open as possible. Derik uses, and starts with it, as he is originally seemed to be a "demon" with how much he could take and dish out. Angel is ranged attacks, like beams, and magical boosts, as well as abilities to support this as well. Grey is a mixture of the two main-forms, in a sense, but it is a separate entity on it's own. At the cost of the body slowly decaying, one gains incredible powers over physical and special, as well as supporting abilities, incredible speed, and a multiplier to the power outs as well. However, it's sort of a trade-off. The longer it's used, the closer the user comes to dying. On this, if the user uses it for too long, their body begins to decay severely and will require several days to recuperate and several days more to gather back any strength lost from the decayed body parts, if any is. It is not intended for use by a living being, only an ethereal being, and is far too dangerous for any normal being as the decay occurs far faster the weaker you are, as your stamina is the only thing that keeps it at bay. ...This is getting a tad long... Sorry, enjoy going over my overly-complex character background that is like 50 pages long on it's own .-. Sandrew is the youngest of the three in development, but he only came shortly after Brooklyn. Brooklyn and Derik needed a balance to make them work, Derik being a little too relaxed at times, a little too caring, a little too passionate, a little too protective, and Brooklyn being the smart-ass strategic perfectionist that he is, they needed someone to sort of mellow the two. Derik envy's his kindness, which is something later Derik wishes he had still, as he has grown rather bitter, but he is also able to be serious and cautious, he knows his limits which is something Brooklyn likes, he forces the two powerhouses to work together because they know he isn't strong enough on his own to survive the fights they have to endure, so they work together and protect him as he buffs the two of them and supports them from behind. Brooklyn is the middle child, coming right after Derik. I needed someone with sound logic and reasoning, and the ability to cover for the flaws in combat Derik did have. He's much more inatively tanky and uses a counter-heavy moveset, but cranks out damage at a decent speed and sort of focuses as the DPS. He is also the tactician that Derik needs to keep himself out of trouble. But as stated with Sandrew, the two of them don't get along well as they are very much different people. They all were born around 2011, went though a year of refinement and development, and then Derik made his debut on KH13 around I think... I would say two week after I joined in 2013, where I used him for a SAO RP, though I didn't use his actual name at the time. He is known as being probably one of the hardest/most OP characters on the site, as no one actually has seen anything close to his true power, and the fact that he is only defeated if I so will it. He has technically never lost a match, but tied with Ryonne in 2014(Source needed) In Amnesia Games, however he was in a much more limited moveset as to not be broken considering he origined from a Si-Fi in this game (See: Echoes and Ashes). Brooklyn made his debut around 2013's summer time in my original short story that was a prelude to Kingdom Hearts the Tirain Pieces, however I can't for the life of me find the post. Sandrew made his true debut(I had tried a few times prior) In MDSVernitas' Evarius RP, where he has been main crew ever since. Brooklyn and Sandrew don't have much history as they're much more recent compared to Derik, who has a lot of time/history behind him. Personal notes: Derik is my main main, but I prefer Sandrew as a character overall. I plan to give him his own original story one day, but for now the ideas are still brewing more or less. Brooklyn was originally to have green hair, not orange, and follow a more cool color scheme, but I felt Derik covered that well enough. Derik coincidentally resembles Kirito from SAO, but his actual origin came from a black hoodie I use to wear as a child that eventually became more of a trench coat, as I was a small thing when i was younger, in height at least, I based the idea of him using a long trench coat off of that jacket. Days after Daniel Black did the first rendition of Derik he ever did, I found a coat shockingly similar in design to Derik's top coat, and afterwards I decided Derik could use that style of coat as well and heavily prefer it in some ways, but the rest of his outfit on occasion has to be reworked around this. Originally, the straps on the front were for sheaths, but over time I decided a magnetic locking holster set would be better than conventional sheaths, so I made them suspenders rather than actual sheath straps, though they do also help support the magnetic holsters very well. I have other character I'm thinking of using, but I will reveal them later.
Vaude 536 Posted October 31, 2015 Dang, that's a long history for your collective characters, putting mine to great shame. It is awesome to see the characters develop so much over time from simple fighters to abstract apollyons, and I love seeing the origins to their legacies. I'll stretch out Rufus' to a greater length, if that is the case. Rufus started out as an amateur archer with a knack for bullseyes in the strangest of fashions, similar to Bourlor from the book Vernaccus and Bourlor in Elder Scrolls lore. His weapon was blessed, which can be more than can be said for his brain, as it was holier than Swiss cheese, but his true love lay not in archery but gambling. One night he gambled a great deal with a sorcerer, and in a winner-take-all bet he cheated and won the sorcerer's power, sealed away in his right hand in a unicursal hexagram certainly not heavenly in origin. This gave him access to an array of destructive magicks, his most noteworthy being fire and ice, the two great extremes of heat. Additionally, he had gained the power of cloning himself through the Glitz, and this provided him the use of up to three elemental arrows fired in unison. Even though his skill could have been great, he was stripped from his blessed bow in the Glitz Pit, making his aim significantly worse. His dependence on area-of-effect spells and shots gave him a significant loss of control on the battlefield when fighting 1v1 but great strength when catching the enemy unaware. Mr. Swiss had a knack for chivalry and the Shakespearean, like in this RP, but he made no friends save for the sorcerer he stole the power from--an ironic fate, given their history. Together they had some crazy adventures when Rufus left the Glitz, eventually making the sorcerer become a holy man, and they became what I amorously call the Lovable Louts. Regarding Yuffie, I do not apologise for my actions, *grin grin*. But seriously now, sorry for the trouble. 1 Mystics Apprentice reacted to this

If I went into full detail on Derik, no one would read it bease its larger than a thesis paper. The other two are half as long because they're half as old .But thanks. Also, I like the back story on Rufus. Seems fitting.
Arya Stark 1,337 Posted October 31, 2015 I'm in the car somewhere in Florida, but I figure I'm not going to get better time to do this so I'm back. As much as I'd love to give full essays on all of my characters, I have neither the time nor tools to do so right now. Teka- At the time she was created the Empire was kind of low manning the war. I took a lot of time in making her powers creative and backstory interestingly evil. And she was great for this purpose. Teka was a fantastic evil bitch. But when playing her, I felt she was falling a little into "generic evil woman" territory. As I considered my options to remedy this, I thought of Cyler, who had quickly become outmatched by most of the other characters. So, I sacrificed generic evil woman to way better bloodthirsty power lusting serial killer. I may revisit her another time, but she didn't quite feel right. The Doctor- I realized that, despite the fact that Tanzynite is such an integral force to the lore, no one had created a Tanzynite focused scientist. (Aside from Nort, but he doesn't count until he posts) I also realized that after changing Vortludo's personality I had lost that intelligent sass that I love. So, I decided that The Doctor would fill in a good hope that the RP had developed. And I love playing him. He's fantastic, so utterly focused... Since his debut in Evraius, he has become one of my mains. There's a lot more to him than I've expressed here, but moving on! The Crow's Eyes- I had just finished a book called Six of Crows about a heist. Inspired by this concept, and feeling that playing a squad of characters like Javelin434 has done in the past would be interesting, I created these guys. So far, I am very much enjoying playing them, and I can't wait until they get to interact with some other characters. This is their origin, and surprisingly, the only characters (alive) that I created solely for this RP. Rija- Oh Rija. Poor girl. She was a character that I had kind of wanted to do from the beginning, offering a loyal soldier kind of character into here. But I decided not to. However, over time I felt that she would do better and better here. Also, Riki's here, which means Derik's here. In Rija's origin RP she ended up being shipped with Derik, and even getting married. Since then, many RPs the ship has continued, but has been the most potent and romantic in The Amnesia Games, where they have lost each other and their memories, but still constantly seek each other out. So sweet. Anyway, I've wanted to try "evil" Rija for a while, but I decided this would be a good one to do it with. She feels strongly towards her duty and country, but at the same time she feels equally as strongly against injustice and cruelty. How she evolves from here, especially with such a powerful Derik nearby will be interesting to see. This RP has brought out nearly all of my mains. Aside from Mes(interesting but I don't know if she's really needed) and Nikolai( his position has been kind of taken by Rufus and Vortludo, but he may still make an appearance.) and Syfe(another possible one, but is unneeded) all of my mains are here in one form or another. And on.I may note that, though my execution of him at the time was poor in form of his speech patterns and stylistic writing, in Echoes and Ash, where Derik and Rija met, he had a rather close to personality for that stage of his development to canon, which I heavily enjoyed writing him there. If we were to do an actual re-edition of the game, I would probably only change my wording choices to reflect my better skill at story telling and writing, otherwise he is rather correct. Powerful, but utterly human in personality. But one thing that will have to happen is they must fight. Derik, in this form, is a very hard man to impress, let alone become friends with, as he is so disconnected with people. He prefers to be called a monster, for christ's sake. So those two going at it will be intresting.
Nero Kunivas 3,046 Posted November 1, 2015 I must be competing with Yuffie for Character Amount...buuuuut, this character shall become one of my RP Regulars, as I lack in that department. Nolan kinda qualifies...that's it. Name: Zanza Quinn Age: Immortal, many years old. Gender: Male Race: Demon/Angel Hybrid, aka: Nephalem. Side(Rebellion, Empire, Criminal Underworld): Neutral, not sure about The Order. Appearance: Human Form: Regular/Calm: Irregular/Emotional: Demon Form: Angel Form: Weapon(s): Yamato: His main weapon of choice in human form. The blade can be imbued with Angelic or Demonic Power, granting it a Blue or Red flowing and powerful aura respectively. Angelic provides faster attacks while Demonic provides slower, harder hitting ones. Power Status(Mage, Tanzynite User, Race Power e.g: Demonic Power if a Demon): Angelic/Demonic Power. Magic(If a Mage, can be Elemental, Illusionary, Necromancy or Summoner based, Limit of 3 Specializations): Instigator Chemicals (If a Tanzynite User, can become one if Human and if not already one, Limit of 3.): Tonic Chemicals(Same as above. Limit of 3.): Experimental Compound(If a permitted user, limit of 1. Can have 1 other Instigator and 2 Tonics.): Race Power(If Non-Human): Being a Nephalem, Zanza has access to both Energies of the Immortal Spirits of Heaven and Hell, as well as his own powers. Base Abilities: Decent Healing Factor, minor injuries are negligible while serious injuries do heal faster, thus impede him for less time and make fatal injuries harder to pull off. Enhanced Strength. Enhanced Mobility/Speed. Enhanced Durability. Heightened Senses. Energy Manipulation/Conduction: As well as being able to freely use both Energies in his Human State, he can channel energy from other sources to boost his power. The most viable source being other people willingly giving him power, but he can drain Electricity from Generators. Teleportation - Can teleport into a Dark Blue Mist short or long distances, also allowing him to Flash Step. Portal Creation (Using Yamato) - He can cut so fast that he can rip a hole in Dimensions to allow for transportation to wherever he wishes. Dimension Slash - This faster than sight cutting can cleanly cut anything, but also by utilizing the Dimension ripping properties Zanza can use numerous moves using the energy gained and manipulated from such slashing. Summoned Swords/Sword Illusion - Using basic energy, he can conjure Blue-Green Holographic-like Broadswords that can be summoned in great quantities or one at a time to throw them at enemies as projectiles either singular or in a volley, spin around him in a defensive motion and re-positioned into more offensive formations such as above the enemy, around the enemy or shot out away from him. They can also be summoned in a large group above enemies and throw down in a rain of swords that stay in the ground and cause significant damage. They are indeed tangible and sharp and can even be grabbed by Zanza to be used more personally. Their sizes vary from normal Sword sized to absolutely gigantic. They can be infused with Demonic or Angelic Energies to act as either a direct teleport (Angel) or a Pull/Lasso/Spear to yank opponents towards him (Demon). Angel Powers/Angel Mode: Speedier Attacks - All attacks are faster and lighter, allowing for more combo opportunities but do less damage overall, as well as using Angelic Energies to do certain special attacks. Crowd Control - Some moves are wider range, allowing for an easier time with large groups of attackers, at least making sure to hit all of them at least once in one motion, usually. Teleport Dodge - Dodging at the last second allows for a Double Dodge for a tactical advantage/battlefield positioning change. Holy/Light-Based Powers - Includes Holy Fire, Light Pillars/Beams, Light Orbs etc. Angel Glide - Moving across buildings and platforms is made easier as he can thrust his arms back after a jump to propel himself forward using Angelic Energy in a Blue Stream, like Jet Plane Trails. Angel Trigger "Dark Ascension" - Allows full usage of his Angel Powers by transforming into a more powerful state; His Angel Form, which while dark, can make more use of his Light Powers than his normal form in Angel Mode can. Demon Powers/Devil Mode: Slower Attacks - All attacks are slower but harder, allowing for maximum damage potential at the expense of speed and combo potential, as well as using Demonic Energies to do certain special attacks. Singular Opponent Focus - The extra damage and hard hitting nature of Demon Mode allows greater focus on single individuals, usually more powerful, tougher enemies, while sacrificing the range of Angel or even Base Mode. Power Dodge - Dodging at the last second grants a temporary power-up, wreathing Zanza, mainly around the arms, a red-white aura that enhances strength for a short period. Unholy/Dark-Based Powers - Includes Hell Fire, Darkness-Based attacks, Raw Crimson Demonic Energy etc. Devil Trigger "Hollow Decent" - Allows full usage of his Demon Powers by transforming into a more powerful state: His Demon Form, which is far darker, distorts his voice and allows him to make more use of his Dark Powers than his normal form in Devil Mode can. Bio/History: Born from a Demon Father and Angel Mother, Zanza was an only child and no one was sure what to make of him, as he was a Nephalem and the union of Angel and Demon was unheard of for many millenniums. Some frowned upon it, some embraced it and others were indifferent, treating it as mundane even. Either way, he had an interesting life, having a mainly good childhood with numerous friends and a good relationship with his Parents, all before Korben's rise to Power, but not all that much longer. During his time in College, he met someone who would go on to be a very, very good friend of his and even became Blood Brothers with him. This person was Pure-Blooded Human, from Langerdon before Korben rose up, who met Zanza and gave him his Humanity through his relationship with him, preventing him from becoming Pompous...or Malevolent. This however would all change once Korben took over, with Zanza's parents immediately opposing the Dark Emperor and wishing to rebel in secret, but they were ratted out by Zanza's Blood Brother, who thought it might of helped them see that Rebellion wasn't a good idea, but it led to Zanza's Mother and Father being hunted down, with his Mother dying and his Father being Imprisoned, tortured and then killed after he literally begged for death. Prior to all of this however, his Father managed to hide Zanza away, telling him to lay low, stay away for the time being and make an impact on the world before he was found and taken. Alone, betrayed and uncertain, Zanza wandered for many years, gaining power, training and contributing to history in his own way, but still felt empty and battled a Dark Side that had manifested through his Demonic and Angelic Powers that kept chipping at his Humanity, but had no luck even though he had suffered so much. When the Order of Lux formed, he initially wanted to go and join, but stopped when he saw Eclaire, a Half-Succubus and the Archangel: Tiriel, as they would more than likely shun him and send him away due to his Hybrid Nature, so he has kept neutral ever since, but will one day approach the Rebellion and accomplish what his Family never could due to his life-changing betrayal and that he was too weak...he needed more power. Personality: Well-spoken, focused, sarcastic, troubled and very intelligent and forward-thinking, Zanza has developed and nurtured his mind very well, as he considers it a great weapon, possibly his greatest when his Sword can't cut it or his powers can't destroy/solve it. He uses his Katana like a Cane when out-of-combat or keeps it fastened to his waist. He is capable of making a joke and snarking a little while having a good sense of humor, so they're not crap and he can lighten the mood if need be, unless he needs to be completely serious. He struggles with what it means to be a Nephalem and what it means to be Human at Heart, for if he were to lose his Humanity, he doesn't know what he'd turn out to be, but he figures it would not be good considering his life. He has a silver tongue and can reason with people easily, as well as unmatched politeness, but when the need calls for it, he is a Combat Pragmatist and will not hesitate to take advantage of any window of weakness. Scrapmaster 1,731 Posted November 1, 2015 (edited) Thought we were missing something, just didn't think it'd be frigging Vergil. What next? a Tenno from warframe? actually that doesn't sound like a bad idea, specially all these mythical and godly beings involved, surely they won't mind a space ninja? I feel Zanza would have the time of his life fighting Henry...then again who wouldn't? Christ now that I think about it, Mikhail seems so...balanced when compared to all these guys Edited November 1, 2015 by Scrapmaster 1 Nero Kunivas reacted to this
