I don't see a reason why we distrust a demon so much. I'm certain there are plenty of ways to use demonic power for good.

Tiriel is an Archangel, it's literally in her blood to distrust demons.Plus he refuses to say what information he has. If he goes "I'm here with detailed information on X location" Yeah she'll grudgingly accept.But letting him in with just "I have info let me in!" When no one's supposed to know this place exists...and for all Tiriel knows he could say "Korben wears Pikachu underwear" and attempt to murder everyone.Risk/reward. She has nothing to lessen the risk, so she'll forgo the reward in the ideal of safety.

YAY! I thought Chrysalis might take this action She seems like that type to be shy with no power at all but then explodes with power at the enemy if they hurt what they hold dear.

 

Sweet.  But now I'm not sure what I'm going to make Ari do.  Chrysalis called her "Mommy," for goodness sake!  Perhaps that bit of angelic light could touch her heart . . . .  I do terrible at writing villains. : P

 

By the way, Tiriel missed Vortludo and Yevgeni speaking to her, I think.

 

I'd laugh soooo hard if after Ariana & Chrysalis escape their battle Ariana blames Peashy for everything that happened there cause Peashy just up & left them

Just wanted to leave this here.

 

 

Sahala underwent several upgrades compared to its old "Sahelanthropus" model, which was strong in its own right, but not strong enough.

 

Sahala now is fit to fight the most advanced gunship or gundam possible, with ease, the new model at least.

 

THe last one got taken out by one really good mercenary and his dog...granted the merc had backup from his motherbase, dude was also using the most powerful anti armor rocket launcher in the game, thing fired 8 rockets at once.

I've made it more impervious to gunfire as well as explosives, it having an armor regeneration feature helps mitigate scratch damage, as well as having less weakpoints when using the sword, and less easy to blow up parts of its body

 

That and its immune to EMPs, and water can't affect it, as its capable of submerging.

So what you're saying...Is literally it's invincible, any and all tactics a significantly weaker force can bring are out the window, and even bringing the destroyer Kusanagi and dreadnought Oathkeeper in would be nigh on useless.So when it's unleashed I should give up and commit seppuku because goddamn, it's impervious to GUNFIRE, EXPLOSION, EMP, WATER, AND HAS REGENERATIVE ARMOR TO A DEGREE. Hey Scrap, impervious means completely unaffected. Something can't be more impervious. Did you mean resistant? Resistant makes far more sense.

Shit I meant resistant as yuffie said XDAnd for the record the armor regen has a slight delay before it begins repairing the damage caused and internal hull damage cant be repaired at all.If you manage to pierce its armor it wont be avle to regeneratr the damage caused inside, it will just repair the armor plating.As for magicm It has a energy shield capable of blocking some spells, up to a limit before the shield goes into a significant cooldown.And it cant utilize its shield at all whem charging its rail gun.If Kusanagi unloaded everything it had onto it. It would sustain heavy damage but it would be active although severely weakened.

Hmm, if I may address it, I am a little concerned of a few things, namely time travelling, mindless mass devastation, and multi-pronged assaults (for instance, three attacks in the same post).  I tried to ignore these for a little while, but with this many actions varying on several levels of potential gamebreaking I fear that such things may cause the death of or disinterest in an RP.

 

First, time travelling is a tricky thing, a preventive or aggressive action where the first character stops an action before the second character completed it.  For instance, George shoots a gun, but Reggie knocks the gun out of George's hands before he can shoot it.  This is time travelling, as is when George shoots the gun and Reggie kills George with a knife before or as George shoots the gun.  Second, mindless mass devastation is a power, to me, best reserved for superhero tales like X-Men or Heroes, and such in my experience leads to power creep where everything will only get better, stronger, and less draining to everyone involved.  Thirdly, multi-pronged assaults take many forms, but simultaneous attacks come to mind here when many actions take place in the same post, oft creating an impossible-to-defend scenario.

 

I would like to ask people's opinions on my concerns.  Maybe they are weakly founded, but I have been taught that all three are a no-no in RPs unless limited.

I started rping on this site, and have done little elsewhere, so all my rules and self-imposed limitations are the fault of here. As such, I have few rules. I'll address your concerns as they relate to me.1. I assume this is a response to what I last did with Neena attacking Henry before Chrysalis' attack. The time travel example you have is something I would never do. But doing something only a single person has to respond to and that doesn't prevent an action that was already stated as happening, anything like that is acceptable to me. 2. I have no idea what "mindless mass devastation" means. Next argument!3. Well... This is something that I have always done and will continue to do. It's just that in my mind, there is no limit on the amount of actions in a post. Therefore, any string of attacks is blockable or dodgable if you take them one at a time. And then they are quite welcome to shoot a large string of attacks back at me.Overall, I was given two rules as I learned RP combat: 1. Don't automatically hit2. Let yourself be hitThat's all that's necessary, along with common sense.I'd talk more but class is starting.

If I may throw my hat into the ring, you must remember that unless another person directly interferes with a post (i.e., directly blocks an attack before there was something to really block) multiple posts can exist in the same timeline and can occour, the way RPing is treated on this site is more akin to a MMO than a pure turn-based, which allows for easier combination techniques, people who can't post at the same time to work together effectively and as a result more attacks can be blocked or avoided or taken in turn for more spectacular countermoves and more thrilling posts. It's harder to keep up with, but overall when adjusted makes the combat, if you get timing and planning down, far faster-paced and intuitive, at least in my opinion.On this site, it's sort of set to the person's transgressions on when they are or are not hit, and the good players know what they're doing in taking hits.Also, if I may say, multiple characters in this RP are gods/minions of gods/superpowered by nature, so on. It would be boring if we didn't use all the tools at our advantage and on this site, and atop this, in the sign-ups, everyone was told that it was a little more open to super-powered characters, and knew what they were getting into.TL;DR, this sort of stuff is kind of the meta on this site, it's average. It may be a tad fast for you, but this is kind of how this site works for the most part.
