Nero Kunivas 3,046 Posted September 8, 2015 yeah if you didn't see that how the hell did you guess The Order of Lux was what I called it .-. Memory's a funny thing, Sabre. I remembered the suggestion off the top of my head, but couldn't for the life of me remember where it came from. Now I kinda feel bad 'cause I didn't give you the credit~
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted September 8, 2015 Memory's a funny thing, Sabre. I remembered the suggestion off the top of my head, but couldn't for the life of me remember where it came from. Now I kinda feel bad 'cause I didn't give you the credit~ Memory is indeed a funny thing. Sometimes something will come to mind and I won't know why, and I'll discover years later that someone else had given me the idea to begin with (I've literally done this). Anyhow, we know where the name originated now, so no harm done, I'd think. ; )

Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted September 8, 2015 Alright, I have plans for a couple characters, but I'll start off with one for now. Seeing as how I have to compete with characters like Derik, I think I'll probably need to include some of my more powerful characters, too... (Still in progress, I'll make another post once it's finished) Name: Fiora Fulmen Age: 18 Gender: Female Race: Human Side(Rebellion, Empire, Criminal Underworld): Rebellion Appearance: Weapon(s): Fiora wields two small daggers, allowing her to strike more quickly in exchange for greater offensive power. Power Status(Mage, Tanzynite User, Race Power e.g: Demonic Power if a Demon): Mage Magic(If a Mage, can be Elemental, Illusionary, Necromancy or Summoner based, Limit of 3 Specializations): Fiora specializes in thunder elemental spells and healing spells. Instigator Chemicals (If a Tanzynite User, can become one if Human and if not already one, Limit of 3.): N/A Tonic Chemicals(Same as above. Limit of 3.): N/A Experimental Compound(If a permitted user, limit of 1. Can have 1 other Instigator and 2 Tonics.): N/A Race Power(If Non-Human): N/A Bio/History: Fiora was orphaned at the young age of six, after her parents were both murdered due to their status as Mages. She managed to hide from the attackers, although she desperately wanted to fight them. On that day, she vowed to avenge the death of her parents. She found a small home for refugees such as herself, and stayed here for a while. When she reached the age of 13, she decided to go and take odd jobs around the town to raise a bit of money. Two years later, she left the home and decided to learn how to fight. She had heard rumors of a rebellion that was forming, and decided that she wanted to join them. Of course, she was young, and still had no combat experience. She used the money she raised to buy a weapon, although all she could afford was a small dagger. She also began to learn how to use her magical powers in combat, and trained with her magic as well. Beginning with this, she trained herself, and eventually managed to join the rebellion at the age of 17. A year later, she now had a second dagger, learning that she preferred a faster fighting style. She also had much more combat experience, and believed that she was ready to take on the threat of the empire. Personality: Fiora's quiet, and a little bit on the shy side. She tends to keep important details about herself secret, to avoid knowledge of her status as a Mage from becoming known to others. However, she tends to become incredibly attached to those who befriend her, and often puts her own well-being to the side to protect those close to her. Sorry, I completely overlooked this post while I was away. Accepted! While her abilities aren't as expansive as some characters it still may be okay in a fight, so long as she's skillful with her daggers and times her attacks and healing magic well. She kind of reminds me of my character, Jadis. I gave him very little, but it suits his personality and didn't want to overpower him. It's your choice if you would like to add more to her, but all-in-all I think you'll be okay. 1 Shulk reacted to this

Guest Posted September 8, 2015 What about someone who braved through winnie thr pooh's homerun derby? Bravery does not equal strength. You have high mental fortitude, scrap. But not Fiora level.
Scrapmaster 1,731 Posted September 8, 2015 Bravery does not equal strength. You have high mental fortitude, scrap. But not Fiora level. The fact that I didn't go insane against robin not good enough? Fiora got high mental fortitude? I remember her attacking the party, and the party literally setting her on fire in order to beat her still, thank god Dreadnaught armor can probably protect against critical hits, cuz I know fiora can do that, probably has a hidden plot tanzynite on her, which increases her crit chance

Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted September 8, 2015 Okay, guys; I took a bit of my allotted study time and dedicated it into creating a world map for Tainted Blood. Here's what I've got thus far. All imperial territory is indicated with a red dot, while the resistance is blue. The neutral sections are color-coded violet. I separated The Korbenic Empire from Lux, a place where I'm intending the Order of Lux (aka rebellion) to be located. The Forgotten Isle, as well as the City of Ruin, was where I was thinking the ruins could be at where The Order of Lux's base is. It's isolated and I thought it could be rather convenient. Look forward to hearing your thoughts. : ) 1 Nero Kunivas reacted to this

Saber Lily 1,543 Posted September 9, 2015 Updated. Kunivas, do you think we could put this in the opening post of the RP thread for everyone's reference? And it didn't really register till right now, but why name the second half of the continent Lux .-. That adds a bit of confusion since the Order of Lux is based in the City of Ruin in the Kingdom of Orience.
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted September 9, 2015 (edited) And it didn't really register till right now, but why name the second half of the continent Lux .-. That adds a bit of confusion since the Order of Lux is based in the City of Ruin in the Kingdom of Orience. I didn't know why the rebellion was called The Order of Lux, so I just went ahead and assumed that it could be called such because it's the people of Lux that are representing it. The section of the continent is called Lux because that is the land owned by the people of Lux, separate of the Korbenic Empire. While the base for the Order is indeed in the Kingdom of Orience (I wondered if it wasn't Kingdom it Orience! I thought that seemed odd), you'll notice that the majority of villages supporting the rebellion and independent of the empire are located in Lux. Also, I'm assuming that you were preparing for Ari to exit Korben's chamber with your latest post. Just wanted to make sure that you knew she hadn't left yet. Ah, that makes a lot of sense, and I didn't realize that. In that case I should really change the name of the continent, though to what still baffles me. I'll have to give it some more thought, and I'd happily accept any suggestions in the meantime. : ) And cool! I figured, but just wanted to make sure. Ari just disregarded the snack entirely and is treating Chrysalis something between a pet dog, prisoner, and beloved child, if you can imagine that. : P

Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted September 10, 2015 I was expecting pet dog for sure, maybe prisoner. But also beloved child? This got interesting.... She's just crazy. : P She's so conflicted that she doesn't even know herself what she feels anymore, but predominately she's heartless. However, she does feel possessive of Chrysalis, even if she's cruel, and will harm people to make sure no one lays a finger on her. It gets very strange! She, on the other hand, has no qualms with hurting her.

Scrapmaster 1,731 Posted September 10, 2015 We got a egomaniacal (probably) overlord with incredible power and no sense for human life, we got a heartless who has a pet in the form of an angel girl, we got a crazy kid who broke into the meeting room, a demon (tekanorojia) And the average Handyman being Gabriel, Well damn.
