"You've answered my questions...but you haven't awakened just yet..." said a strange voice that could be heard within the ears of everyone. Soon everyone landed on their feet onto a massive dream station that has no picture as it seems to be covered by a strange darkness. Everyone can open their eyes now but when you do the first thing you'll see is a heartless version of yourself holding your dream weapon getting ready to fight you. Just then that strange voice spoke again "Your powers won't awaken nor will you until you defeat your dark self...fight them using your dream weapon" said the strange voice as your dream weapon magically appears in your hands with all it's powers. (MISSION: Defeat your dark self to awaken from this dream) (Just kill them off however you like )

 Just as the voice stopped speaking, her dark self charged forward and striked."Whoa there!" Rae yelled out in surprise as she blocked the attack in a nick of time. She calmly smiled. "That could've been dangerous, that strike might have killed me." Suddenly faster than the heartless could react, Rae kicked her other self right in its ribs as the heartless was pushed back a few feet. Landing on its toes, her enemy lunged in again with faster speed than before as Rae was forced to constantly block its attacks as she slowly took steps back. 'This reminds me of all those times when I spared with my dad,' The memory of always getting defeated by her father, her brother wrapping bandages over her wounds, and the taste of victory when her father was finally the one to fall first. Rae cherished the memory until her right feet landed on nothing. "Huh?" Being pulled back to reality, Rae realized she was slowly falling backward. Apparently she backed up all the way to the edge without even realizing it.

Usually a normal person would panic and fall to their death but with quick thinking, Rae stabbed her weapon right into station, grabbed the ledge with her other hand, and pulled herself up with all her might. Her dark self noticed this and stabbed forward toward Rae's heart. Without having enough time to block with her Dream Weapon, she was forced to move her body to the side and the weapon ended up plunging into her left shoulder. The pain spread through her body yet Rae took this opportunity to attack. Without a moment of hesistation, she used her weapon with her right hand at the Heartless's vulnerable arm, cutting off the connection to its Dream Weapon. Now weaponless, Rae slashed at the enemy's legs as her dark self collasped unable to move. "It bothers me that I have to kill my other self but..." She pointed her weapon at the fallen Heartless. "I would like to wake up now." And with that, Rae stabbed the Heartless through the heart as her dark self withered in pain. Slowly, the Heartless and the weapon that was stabbed into Rae's shoulder dissipated into nothingness.

Kiru snorted as he tested the weight of his Dream Sword by a few practice swings.

"Let's make this quick." He said as he assumed his ready stance, which was mirrored by the Heartless.

The Heartless dashed at him, but he jumped sideways, slashing at the back of his double's legs. He managed to score a hit, which caused the Heartless to stumble. Kiru immediately side stepped back, bringing his Dream Sword down, towards the Heartless' neck. It rolled away, sweeping out with its good leg, scything Kiru's legs out from under him.

With both combatants on the ground, the Heartless scrabbled to get up first, but was hampered by its hamstrung leg. Kiru rammed his Dream Sword down, pinning his double's injured leg to the floor. It tried to slash back at him, but he caught it's wrist and wrenched the blade from its hand.

Grabbing his own Dream Sword out of his double's leg, Kiru rolled back onto his shoulder blades, then forward ending up on his feet.

"Get back to where you belong!" The Remixed Warrior shouted as he brought both swords around, cleaving off the Heartless' head.

Derik looked at the Dark version of himself. "Let me get this straight, buddy." he stated. "There's only one of me. I've fought harder in my life than you can imagine, so, lets get this through your thick skull." He stated, the Dark version of him lunged. The Dream Sword aimed at Derik's neck, hoping to decapitate him quickly, was shocked to have the dream sword in Derik's hand thrust through it's elbow, his body twisting quickly out of the way. "I am me, and no one else is." he switched his grip on the Dream Sword, bringing the edge to the stump where the Heartless' arm once rested and with a quick horizontal cut, cleaved through the rest of it's stump as he dashed to it's side. Darkness leaked from it's arm, hoping to patch itself up quickly and continue the attack, but as a good swordsman would, he followed it up with another attack, this time stabbing into the monster's side. Upon pulling the blade out, Derik let off a Firaga ball into it's side, exploding it's upper half. It melted into darkness, along with it's other parts of it. It formed again away from him, it's sword flashed back into his hand.

 

"Persistent. I like that."

 

Derik launched at the thing, like a blur, and it followed suit, the first clash flurried with sparks and fire as the attacks clashed. Again. And again. The Station of Awakening was beginning to have scraps of metal collect on it's perfectly crafted panels. The smell of burning metal erupted into the air. Their blades glowed red as the slashes and blocks did not stop. It came to another collision in the center, only in this one, Derik's weapon was knocked astray. A upwards slash knocked Derik away and now the dark counterpart vanished and reappeared above him and downward-slashed him from above, slamming him into the Station. Then, this enemy dove down and prepared a stab, but Derik managed to roll out of the way in time to avoid his doom and back onto his feet. He then lunged for and grabbed onto the enemy's weapon via the guard and used it as a point to balance on as he jumped and double-kicked his enemy to the ground, knocking the weapon off of him. From there, Derik let go of the weapon and followed the force of his kick which let him follow it onto the ground and began to pummel the enemy until it once again vanished and recalled it's sword, behind Derik with another stab-attempt. However, Derik called his back as well and twisted behind him and knocked the stab away and followed the block up with a stab and a slash. 

 

The dark enemy finally faltered, collapsing on the ground and faiding into the void.

Amina blinked at her 'other self.' "If you are my darkness, why do I not feel any different with you out there?" She wondered. The dark figure did not seem to feel obliged to answer her, instead rushing towards her with it's sword drawn. Amina parried and slipped under her shadows guard, elbowing it in the diaphragm. The dark being took a few unbalanced steps back before lunging forward again, this time keeping it's sword slightly closer, trying to gain more control. The light warrior stepped back, and the shadow and light exchanged calculated dancing strokes until they neared the edge of the station, measuring each other's defenses and waiting for the oppritune moment. "It's time to finish this. I need to wake up." The warrior declared. The silent shadow tilted its head mockingly, as if to say, 'oh? And how do you plan to do that?' Amina stepped forward, swinging the dream sword down and forcing the darkness to block. For an instant that seemed an eternity, the blades locked, and then the light warrior lunged forward, hitting her shoulder against her copy's and forcing it back a step, one foot off the edge. It tried to regain it's balance, but Amina ended it with a stab straight through the heart, holding it's arm to prevent a counter attack. She could have sworn she heard a rattling laugh as the shadow fell into the darkness, but turned as she felt a piercing pain in her side. "Not done?" 'The shadows, huh? Maybe some form of teleportation.' The shadow and light continued their dance, balancing precariously on the edge of the station of awakening, swords flashing, sparks flying, concentration and determination never wavering. The shadow sensed a weakness and swung to the left, it's opponent's injured side. A ghost of a shadow crossed the warrior's lips. "Never underestimate me." Abruptly switching to double handed long sword style, Amina dropped her defenses and lunged forward at full speed, this time aiming for the neck. Unprepared for the sudden change in pace, and already trapped in one motion, the shadow fell as silently as it had fought, gracefully arcing backwards before fading away.

Today was an odd day, even for Artorias...a mission to the Realm of Darkness, falling into slumber, answering the questions of many different people he had seen before and now, with a strangely bright sword in hand: The Dream Sword, he is faced with another version of himself which was somehow even darker than he was. He had to assume it was either a Heartless or something more from the shadows of the Abyss, or rather, the Realm of Darkness. The Doppelgänger wielded his Greatsword, while his own was still sheathed on his back while he held the Dream Sword, swiping in the air to get a feel for the weapon before facing his shadowy other.

"If you are anything like me, then we fight as men. If not...then I shall remain committed to fighting as a man. Though given my luck with creatures like you, you are naught but a beast in the form of a man...mimicry works if said Shape-Shifter has the same mental capacity, which surely, you must lack...but again, your kind continues to surprise me." He spoke aloud to the Anti-Artorias, gripping his sword tightly and holding it to his side as it's blade sheens to the tip, while his opponent's eyes flashed a Heartless-Yellow as it assumed a animalistic stance, its legs spread far apart to allow a duck while it heaved and rested the Greatsword over its shoulder.

 

Artorias made the first move by running quickly toward his opponent and they clashed blades as the Anti-Artorias responded with its own slash, this lasted for a few seconds as their blades ground and sparked against one another before Artorias pushed off and slashed several times with the lighter blade, some missing due to the Heartless ducking and dodging but others, due to him faking out the creature, slashed its left arm, right leg and chest as the Heartless recoiled slightly, bleeding liquid Darkness in place of Blood, but recovering with a backwards roll, then charging and throwing a Dark Firaga ball at him, which he only just managed to block with his sword, then side-rolling a follow-up Fireball, then throwing a projectile of his own from his hand: a Dark Blizzaga, which impacted the creature's chest dead on, shattering into Dark Purple/Blue shards, some embedding into the Heartless's already wounded chest. Enraged, the Doppelgänger imbued its Greatsword with Darkness and did a left-to-right horizontal slice, hurling an Purple Energy Wave at Artorias who, thinking quickly, jumped and front flipped over the wave, then while in the air, charged the tip of the Dream Sword with a lot of Darkness and upon landing, hit it against the ground producing a outward, dark Shockwave of Darkness, tainting the ground immediately around him and knocking the Heartless on its back as he rushed over and attempted to stab it, but his stab was blocked and he was pushed back by the Heartless pushing him away and getting up.

 

"Now you've done it..." Artorias spoke as Darkness slowly started to gather to him, starting from the ground and slowly crawling up his body in a dark mist as he gathered power, pulling his arms together while he groaned and yelled, powering himself up as Dark Mist, Tendrils and Energy gathered to his centre and in a burst, pulsed outward with a Ghostly Deep, wispy screech while he extended his arms and head outward as he gained a Dark Aura flowing outwards and upwards from him. The Heartless was not intimidated by his "Wrath of the Abyss" Power up and charged him anyway, but its stab hit air as Artorias sidestepped it quicker than usual and pushed away the creature with a pulse of energy from his left hand, followed up by him sliding towards the Heartless with Darkness lining the soles of his Armoured Feet and leaving a trail of it on the ground, doing a 360 spin slash, hurting and staggering the surprised Doppelgänger which attempted a recovery attack, but he stopped that with a Somersault then a vertical sword slam, knocking the creature to the ground almost instantly with a audible clang from his sword and Dark Sludge lining the immediate impact zone. As it struggles to get up, Artorias follows up with another Somersault Slam...then another, then another and another, crippling the beast and making it suffer as it tries in vain to get back up. "S-Stop...." It managed to utter, but Artorias merely gave it a cold stare, then forced it back onto its feet with a Dark Geyser from beneath it with a raising of his arm, then he punches it in the face and rams the Dream Sword through its chest, twists it and pulls it out, causing the creature great pain and damaging it greatly before he rolls back, crouches then leaps high into the air toward the Heartless, then knocking it down instantly as his sword pierces its neck, also leaving more Area-of-Effect Dark Sludge and Mist.

 

"You fought well...but not well enough, for a mimic is never as good as the real thing. And so, this ends the only way it could. Rest in peace." Artorias told the Doppelgänger, as it gurgled Liquid Darkness due to a Sword being in its neck, but Artorias removed it slowly and wiped off the Darkness-Blood with a swift hand motion and De-Powered, looking down at the Heartless which spoke to him. "This....i-is only the...be-*cough* beginning of your trials...Artorias, *gag, then gasp* ...y-you fought....well, too...*cough, gurgle* Take...my power....*Gag, cough...then exhale* The creature drew its last breath, clearly demonstrating its higher intelligence than most Heartless in vein of Ansem, Seeker of Darkness from years ago. Then, as its body melted away, its Soul left its body and into Artorias to give him the Powers from his Questions along with a boost to his Darkness. He then looked around for an exit or something.

The next moment you open your eyes to find yourself on Destiny Island laying on the sand with the ocean's water just reaching your feet. "hey Sora! SORA!!" yelled Kairi as she run towards Sora "What is it Kairi?" said Sora "Someone's stolen our items we were going to use to build our raft!" said Kairi "What?! Derik rose, shaking the sand out of his hair and dusting himself off, he looked to the children on the beach. "...I hope that they're friendly. I wouldn't feel right fighting a bunch of children." The idea lingered in his head for a moment longer before Derik got up and walked over to the boy with the spiky brown hair and the girl with crimson red hair. "Hello, you two. Say, have any ideas on who might have taken that stuff? Let's say if my assumptions are correct, I'm looking for that person..." he lied, of course. He had never met whoever this was he was searching for before, but those kids wouldn't know.

 When Rae opened her eyes she slowly sat up and looked around as her eyes adjusted to the sunny atmosphere. 'A beach huh, I've always wanted to go to one.' She looked at her left shoulder so see if her wound was there, only to be relief that it was perfectly fine. Dusting the sand off her clothes and hair, Rae stood up to see two kids and a guy that looked out of place asking them a question. 'Isn't that one of the keyblade warriors Yen Sid summoned for this mission?' Based on the guy's question, Rae assumed he's looking for the thief that took the kid's items. Walking up next to the guy, she looked at the brown haired boy who oddly reminded Rae of her little brother back at the village. With the same playful tone she use on her sibling, she spoke, "Hey there! I was just wondering about the same thing too," Rae gestured to the guy next to her. "We're both looking for the same person."

Kiru looked around uncomfortably at his surroundings. He had avoided coming back to Destiny Island because of Riku's memories of the place. He had come to view them as not his, just so,etching narrowed to give him a head start on development. Still, they would come in handy now. He headed for where he remembered Sora, Riku, and Kairi hid their supplies for their raft to look for clues as to who stole them.

Sora & Kairi looked a bit surprised when Derik & Rae walked up to them both "I only just found out about this thief, But I'm sure the thief is still somewhere on the island, unless the thief's trying to build his own raft then we won't have much time to stop him" said Sora to Derik & Rae "Oh, hello there. I'm sure it wasn't Sora or Riku who stole our items, I tried to find Riku first but I couldn't find him. Maybe you two should try asking our friends Wakka, Tidus or Selphie. Maybe they saw who it was or at least they might know more than we know" said Kairi. Meanwhile where Kiru was, as Kiru looked around the only clue there was a set of footprints but not just one set but two sets of footprints. The 1st set of footprints showed the person leaving the area & the 2nd set of footprints showed this person following the others footprints.

Awakening on a sandy beach, Artorias rose up from the ground quickly, to find he was on Destiny Islands: The home of Sora and Riku....and footprints in the sand, which he followed to other people chatting to Sora and...who was she again? He did not care, but he followed and then spoke up:

"What's going on here?" He asked, a little bewildered.

Kiru knelt down and examined the foot print to see what he could tell about the possible thief's foot size and possible oddities in the gate of this person. After a moment to digest this, he followed after the tracks. As he followed the tracks, he pulled out and put on his sunglasses and beanie. He wasn't sure what rules this dream would have, but he didn't want to deal with people that could recognize that he looked like a older Riku.

Amina woke with a start, grasping at the sand beneath her fingers to make sure it was real . The drowning crushing feeling of the darkness, even though she knew it was a dream.. Wasn't it?... Was very disconcerting and slightly scary. Where were they? Sand, the ocean, humid, looked slightly tropical. An oddly shaped tree with yellow star shaped fruit bent over sideways farther away. Oh. Destiny Islands. Her mother had taken her here once, before the worlds started falling. She looked up and rose to her feet at the sound of two young voices. The newly identified Sora and Kairi were looking for a raft thief, huh? That could be the person they were looking for. Amina pulled the Wayfinder from her pocket, focusing her mind on a raft part thief. If the person was nearby, this would give her a warning, as well as a detection device. This taken care of, the warrior decided to walk around and look for other people who might have hints. The others were already questioning Sora and Kairi, so she figured it would be nice to get different opinions.

 When she heard a voice behind her, she turned around. "Oh hello, they're looking for the thief who stole their items to make a raft."

 'Another keyblade wielder...then it seems like all the keyblade warriors are here on this island, are they looking for the thief too?' She thought. When the two kids suggested to ask their other friends a question, she was a bit worried. Rae have no idea what Wakka, Tidus, and Selphie looked like. Oh well, she guessed she'll find them eventually if she ask around. She friendly smiled as she ruffled the boy's spiky hair like she does with her brother. "Thanks kiddo, we'll catch the thief and get back the items."

As Artorias showed up Sora looked to him "Oh, well me, Kairi & Riku were going to build a raft but someone has stolen our items we were going to use to build it." said Sora rigth before Rae ruffled his hair "Hehe, oh yeah! our friends are also on this island too. Wakka often practices his volleyball skills near the beach not far from here, Tidus is always training near just outside our treehouse, & Selphie should be sitting on the docks staring into the far distance." said Sora to the group. Meanwhile Amina was near the docks before her wayfinder slowly gave glimpse of a glow indicating she was getting closer to the thief, then a shadow heartless appeared in front of her but it didn't attack her, instead it headed into a small crack in a stone wall. Meanwhile as Kiru was following the footprint tracks someone called out to him "HEY! you there, I've never seen you before..." said Riku from behind Kiru. It was Riku "It's funny how someone we don't know shows up & that our raft items go missing..." said Riku as he got into his battle stance with his wooden sword "You must be the thief that stole our raft items" said Riku as he jumped towards Kiru about to strike.

"Always jumping to conclusions." Kiru thought as Riku jumped at him.

In a split second, Kiru considered his options and selected the one he thought would end the fight best. There was an old memory that he knew he and Riku shared. Well, one he hoped they shared. This was a dream, after all.

"And do you think I would be dumb enough to come back if I was the theif?" He asked.

In a flash of light, Kiru had his Keyblade, The Heart of The Matter, out and blocking Riku's wooden sword with the flat of the blade.

"Our mutual friend didn't give me this to spoil your rafting experience, Riku."

Amina looked up from the softly glowing Wayfinder in time to watch a shadow appear and then just go through a crack in the wall. How strange. No one in this area looked all that suspicious, so she figured it was likely that the person they were looking for was inside this wall somehow, then. That might help explain the shadows irregular behavior. She couldn't call out to the others to tell them to come here, that would be too loud, it would probably alert their target and her companions might not even hear her. She could go get them, but by the time they got back, the person might have left. 'Well, only one option left, then.' The girl thought. She summoned her Keyblade, wanting to have it ready just in case, and walked through the crack in the wall.

Sora & Kairi looked a bit surprised when Derik & Rae walked up to them both "I only just found out about this thief, But I'm sure the thief is still somewhere on the island, unless the thief's trying to build his own raft then we won't have much time to stop him" said Sora to Derik & Rae "Oh, hello there. I'm sure it wasn't Sora or Riku who stole our items, I tried to find Riku first but I couldn't find him. Maybe you two should try asking our friends Wakka, Tidus or Selphie. Maybe they saw who it was or at least they might know more than we know" said Kairi. Meanwhile where Kiru was, as Kiru looked around the only clue there was a set of footprints but not just one set but two sets of footprints. The 1st set of footprints showed the person leaving the area & the 2nd set of footprints showed this person following the others footprints.

Meanwhile Derik was talking to Wakka "Hey man, have I seen anything suspicious, hm...oh! yeah I remember seeing someone running into some strange dark portal right before he disappeared but that's all I've seen today man." said Wakka. Meanwhile as Amina walked through the crack in the stone wall a barrier covered the crack, then Amina's wayfinder quickly glowed brightly right before the whole island was ripped apart from the middle (Just like in KH:1 Ansem boss battle) revealing Ansem in the center of it. But not only that but there was a person standing next to him wearing a black coat. Then Sora, Riku, Kairi, Wakka, Tidus & Selphie were trapped inside bubbles of darkness "Now this world will return to darkness as it was meant to be, HAHAHAHA!!" yelled Ansem getting ready to fight Amina who was inside the barrier in the middle of the island while his heartless guardian was outside the barrier preventing anyone from getting inside the barrier. (NEW MISSION: Defeat Ansem's heartless guardian to enter the barrier, defeat Ansem & the thief in the black coat)

Amina pocketed the Wayfinder, and then moved as quickly as she could to attack the Dark cloaked figure. Ansem she knew a bit about, but the figure was a complete unknown. If she could get rid of them quickly, this battle would be a lot less complicated. Of course, she would have to make sure she was keeping track of both her opponents until that happened. A diagonal slash followed by a quick stab would do for now, she was just testing the waters.

Derik jumped into the fray from his location. Deciding that from his distance Wisdom form would be his best shot at this, he transformed into it. The Keyblade in his hands took aim right at the girl striking the Heartless with her Keyblade. "Thundaga!". The electricity struck down onto the Keyblade, giving the strike a bit of extra charged power. He followed this up by jumping up onto the ledge and firing shots out of his Keyblade at the heartless, then following it up with a Blizzaga spell which the recoil of sent him down back onto the beach and out of the thing's melee range, he hoped.

Kiru was considering how to answer Riku when the mysterious thief and Ansem made their move.

"Riku!" He yelled, trying to grab the boy, but he wasn't fast enough.

Growling under his breath, he felt power move within him. He felt it focus in his left hand and a new blade sprang into being. He recognized it as Demon's Light, his partner's weapon. At first he feared what this meant, but then remembered where he was. It was actually somewhat comforting to know a piece of her was still with him.

With both Keyblades at his sides, Kiru ran after Riku. He stopped when he saw the barrier, with Derik and Rae taking on Xehanort's Guardian.

"Him again." He groaned before dashing past the Guardian, slicing through it.

 

 

 

Demon's Light; Looks like Xion's phase 1 weapon with three teeth like the final phase's weapon side spikes. After Ansem's heartless guardian could massive amount's of damage it was smashed against the barrier looking pretty darn beat up, but it wasn't finished yet. The heartless guardian flew high into the sky before jumping into a darkness pool in the sandy ground soon jumping back up but there was 4 heartless guardians to fight this time. one went after Rae about to punch her, one went after Derik shooting darkness discs at him, one went after Kiru rushing at him about to strike with a powerful rush attack, while the last one went through the barrier appearing behind Ansem. Meanwhile as Amina attacked the unknown black coat person the unknown person quickly summoned the keyblade oblivion blocking her attacks quickly as she threw them before jumping back getting some distance from Amina right before Ansem's heartless guardian rushed Amina about to punch her while Ansem started to shoot darkness orbs at her.
