Roleplay Kingdom Hearts Re: Fade Into Light (RP Thread)

Annistha gave Phil a thumbs up, then helped Toshi onto her feet."Let's go before we become combatants again." She urged, helping Toshi out of the ring. The Light Twin smiled slightly as she glanced Raidyn."Maybe Raidyn could help you to the stands?" She teased. "I'm sure he'd be willing to help."

"Right. Thank you, Annistha," Toshi said. Though her gratitude was short lived.

"Uh, n-no, no, I'm fine now. I can walk myself," she said, her blush returning.

Quickly making her way into the stands, she walked up to the row where Raidyn was sitting and sat down. The blonde haired Keyblade wielder was still debating whether or not to cheer for Indy/Rei and Cloud, and she could tell. It was no surprise to her that Raidyn was a fan of Cloud Strife, so all she needed to do was connect the dots.

"U-um, Raidyn?" She asked, trying to his attention.

"Oh, hi Toshi," Raidyn said. "Glad to see you're doing alright now."

"Thank you. Um, so, Indy and Rei are up next, right?"

"Yeah! But you know, I just can't wrap my head around which one I want to win..."

Toshi thought of her previous battle with Ember and Sonreme. "Well... what's important is that they both give it their all, right? Either way, I'm sure they'll do just fine."

"Hmm... you got a point there... I guess I'll just cheer them both on then!"

"Joel? double magnet seems fitting now" Maximillian said beside Joel with a small smile on his face, summoning and holding his keyblade with both his hands, he waited for Joel's magnet spell to be combined with his, so they could pull both Pacha and Kuzco back to them.

"Lets do this Joel!" Max said as he cast magnet, aiming at Kuzoc and Pacha, both of which w

(Eh, I was considering just following them, but might as well do this instead)

"Alright!" Joel created a Magnet sphere (or whatever it is), which joined with Max's spell. The fusion of the two Magnets caused their overall power to amplify. Hopefully it would be enough to grab Kuzco given the distance he had already covered.

"... Now that I think about it, which do you think sounds better: Double Magnet or Dual Magnet?" he asked his fellow Team Magnet member.

-Rei-

She summoned Yoake No Oracion, and entered a combat stance. She smirked.

"We got this. Sora beat him at our age. We were trained by Sora, Riku, and Zion. We stand a chance."

-Zion-

She pulled pizza from some portal, and began eating. "Follow the llama."

Raz looked at Zion, "Isn't that a waste of time though?" Raz said waving his hand. "The 'Magnet Team' will-" Raz stops and blinks. 'What was I about to say!' Raz said to himself with a hand on his face and looking down at the ground. He smirks and looks up, "The 'Magnet Team' will fail and the llama doesn't want to be helped so why not just leave him be and let him die. It's his own fault for running off on his own, he should get himself hurt and maybe he will learn his lesson." Raz commented turning around away from the group and grabbing on Aello's shoulder, gripping tighter he grabbed his chest at the same time. 'What is happening to me, am I... Am I changing?' Raz thought

Zion looked at Raz...then calmly summoned from her transdimensional storage space, a pure obsidian katana, whose handle was interlaced with purple amethyst. She walked towards Raz, calm as could be.

"Our mandate is to protect the worlds, save the inhabitants and ensure the light remains. If you feel my order to save the idiot Llama is wrong..." she raised her ancient blade, pointing it at him. "Then summon your Keyblades, child, and strike me down. If you feel you are better, that you know best...then come. Prove the strength of your convictions."

Zion was quite done with all this, and quite honestly was in the mood to beat someone upside the head with a hammer. Sadly, her few Warhammers were broken...so Kurai Kasai would suffice.

Andes Mountains

Unfortunately, the double Magnet spell was unable to attract Kuzco and Pacha. The two had traveled too far away for the spell to work on them. As Raz continued to speak cruelly and Zion argued with him, Allitt sighed. "Did the academy just raise a group of students to do nothing but argue and fight...? I thought teamwork was one of the things Sora would always go on about." She muttered, then looked ahead in the direction that Kuzco and Pacha had run off into. Unfortunately, it looked like it was going off of the path they'd followed so far... She couldn't take standing around here any longer, though. "I'm going to go after the llama. You all can sit back here and bicker while I go do something important." She told the students and Zion, clearly frustrated by their behavior. After saying this, Allitt ran off into the jungle, hoping she'd figure out where the heck those two had gone quickly.

Of course, this part of the jungle she'd run into was a little more... dangerous. The sun was setting in the sky, casting a shade of red between the leaves of the trees. It would be dark soon, which would cause trouble for her. She had to find the llama fast. She ran through the mud and fallen leaves, ducking under low branches as she sped off, hoping she wouldn't get lost... She didn't bother to keep an eye out for any potential threats, figuring that wouldn't be a problem.

Mt. Olympus

Now that Toshi was back up in the stands with Raidyn, Indy summoned his Keyblade and kept an eye on Cloud. "Yeah, you're right. This won't be a problem for the two of us." He spoke confidently.

"Alright, the girl's all good now. If you're all ready to fight... Begin!" Phil shouted, commencing the battle.

Instantly, Cloud dashed towards the two younger students, his sudden burst of speed causing the crowd to cheer. He decided to open up with a more direct, forceful attack. Once he was a few inches away from Indy and Rei, he drew his massive Buster Sword and swung the heavy blade horizontally, hoping to catch both of his opponents in one sweeping blow.

Indy quickly pulled his Keyblade up to block the attack, although he underestimated the strength behind it. The force from the collision was enough to knock him back, causing him to fall over. He let out a short cry as he fell. Ugh... That didn't go too well... He thought as he tried to scramble to get back up on his feet.

"Allit! Wait up!" Saki said running after Allit, with Lisa tailing behind the Street Rat. "I'll be back with Emperor Llama as well!" He called back to the others.

After running through branches, mud, and a lot of leaves, Saki was starting to get tired. They panted as they tried to keep up with their friend. "Sheesh! How hard is it to find one llama around here? I'm starting to get tired..." Saki said. Lisa, on the other hand, was skipping along through the jungle with her two "best friends". However, a grumbling sound could be heard. "Ohh....I'm getting hungry." Saki said holding his stomach. "Hey Allit? You know where we can find food?"

"...hell no." Artemis uttered before taking off after Allitt and Saki, running after them both at full speed. "My apologies, Master Zion! I am not leaving them to fend for themselves!" He called back before he disappeared into the Jungle.

Artemis caught up with ease due to his heightened endurance from so much training in his youth, noticing that Saki was getting worn out and Allitt showing perseverance like none he'd ever seen...that and she'd had enough of the bickering, not surprising. "Saki? You ate not that long ago, you know. Allitt? Hey!" He called out, patting Saki on the back as he arrived, then caught up to Allitt to speak to her. "That was a brash move, running off like that. But if we're going to catch Emperor Denial, then this works better than Team Magnet. However, it does mean missing the Obliteration of Raz, but I'd rather miss that than see your death or injury." Artemis explained, hardly panting and only slightly sweating. Whether that was due to his running or raging feelings near Allitt was anyone's guess.

-Luna "Nephilim" Urbane-

Luna allowed Artemis to run after Artemis alone, as he would only tell her to stay anyways, so instead she ran between Raz and Zion, extending a hand gesturing Zion to stop. "Zion, wait! Don't kill him...please? He hasn't tried to kill any of us! And this isn't how you control your Students...especially if one of them is practically a psychopath, but I digress, I implore you to calm down! If not for the others...for me?" She pleaded, standing her ground firmly however rather than the feeble pleading of a Damsel. If she had to, she'd fight for Raz's life, even if he was despicable, Raz hadn't attacked or killed anyone of their friends yet.

Saki's stomach grumbled louder. "I....Didn't eat at all back at the restaurant." Saki admitted. Lisa was starting to feel sorry for her human friend. She wanted to do something. She tapped Saki on the shoulder, then pointed to herself and her stomach. Saki made a small smile. "I appreciate the offer Lisa, but I can't let you go looking for food for me. It'll be too dangerous by yourself." Lisa slowly nodded to Saki, still feeling bad for him. "Don't worry. I'll be fine. We Street Rats can go a while without eating." Then the Street Rat's stomach growled even louder to make a few birds fly away. "....I just hope I'm one of those Street Rats..."

Raz turned and saw Luna step between him and Zion, he smiled and grabbed her shoulder. "Move, I don't want you getting hurt." Raz said. He summoned his keyblades and before he stepped forward putting his neck right at the point of the sword. "If you want to kill me..." He threw his keyblades to the side and spread his arms, "Then, kill me... But you would be the only murderer here because not only would you kill me but... You would also be killing Zar, an innocent bystander who has nothing to do with this fight. So, you think you can kill Zar and live with yourself knowing that you killed one of your students?" Raz smirked and took another step so his skin would be punctured.

Zion let them walk away, and as Raz decided to commit suicide, she let rhe katana fade away, and her hand shot out, grabbing Raz's face. She used her other hand to drag Luna to her.

"Sorry about this."

She kissed Luna, and pulled away as her eyes burst into brilliant light.

"Limiter Unlocked. Memory Engine...activate. initialization code One Three Six. Radiance Unleashed, Mode Seven. Code..." she paused. "Xion."

From her back erupted six wings of light, and a Shockwave of pure light erupted, throwing debris away.

"Radiance Unleashed, Mode Seven. Final Form - Seraphim of Light."

Her grip on Raz tightened. "You threaten innocence, risk the lives of everyone here. It is time your darkness felt what fear, true fear is." From her heart shone light, radiant light that traveled through her arm, and began flooding Raz.

"You do not threaten my students, agent of darkness...so begone...flee darkness, and fade into light "

Zion's light flooded his body, a cleansing light that only whispers knew: Purifying Dawn.

Rei didn't block. She executed a flip and touched the buster sword, flipping over Cloud. She grinned, small wings of light flaring into existance. She kept in the air and used her momentum to get out of range, then launched herself at Cloud as he finished his swing.

Aello was slightly scared. Sure Raz was a bit antagonistic and moody, but a bit of pessimism wasn't a good reason to just attack someone! Well, he had said to do it, but that didn't make it right! And wasn't she just lecturing them on giving people a chance to change? "Master Zion, please! Don't hurt him, he didn't mean anything by his comment, he just isn't feeling well!" He had been grabbing at his chest, after all. Oh crap, was he having a heart attack?! "Please, he can change! Didn't you tell us to help people change?" The others had run off alone, they could get attacked by heartless or seekers. They didn't have time to be attracting each other! It registered vaguely in the back of her mind that maybe she shouldn't intervene when the master was this irritated, but the greenette rarely listened to the back of her mind, anyways.

Raz grabbed onto Zion's arm, noticing what was happening he got scared. "No, please you-YOU CAN'T DO THIS!!! I WASN'T THE ONE THAT WAS GOING TO KILL THE INNOCENT IT WAS YOU! YOU DREW YOUR SWORD!" He gripped her arm even tighter while flailing around, and started to cry. "I'm-I'm not a murderer, I was the only one protecting Zar when he was younger... I... I-" Raz let go of her arm and fell limp and unconscious.

Suddenly, Saki felt the winds change. Something happened. He could tell. He just felt something. Something big. He turned around, looked up in the air, and saw a bright light coming from the direction where they came from. "Um, can anyone feel THAT?" He said, looking at the light.

'What's going on back there?' He thought.

Andes Mountains

Allitt hadn't entirely expected Saki, Lisa, and Artemis to chase after her, but she didn't show much of a reaction. She kept running ahead, though she did respond to their comments. "Be glad that you at least had a chance to eat something, kid." She muttered after Saki and Artemis' exchange about food, trying to ignore that her stomach was growling. I should've tried to sneak into that restaurant and gotten something... This probably won't be good. She then turned her attention to Artemis' comments. "I don't really care how reckless my idea was. I'm just tired of your group's constant arguments. Besides, I need this llama alive, so I can't afford to let him do whatever the heck he wants right now." Her tone still wasn't very friendly. In fact, it might have become apparent that she was getting sick of the group she'd been dragged into. As if it wasn't enough that she found them to be far too trusting of her, they could hardly seem to even trust each other. Finally, she did notice the sudden burst of light. She'd consider checking it out, but she had more important matters to deal with first. "It's probably coming from that annoying woman again... If you want to go figure it out, go ahead. I'm not turning back."

Mt. Olympus

Once Indy was finally back on his feet, he was relieved to see that Rei had done much better in dealing with Cloud's attack than he had. He decided to stay back as Rei let out her attack, and that he could follow up after she finished.

Cloud hadn't expected one of his opponents to be able to fly. He tried to swing the Buster Sword up to block Rei's attack, but she was too fast for him. Rei's attack was a direct hit, and she managed to stagger Cloud for a moment.

This was when Indy decided to act. He kicked off against the arena floor and charged ahead, holding his Keyblade out at his side to prepare for his next attack. Once he closed in, he jumped up and slashed at his opponent's chest, unleashing a three-hit combo before he fell back.

Cloud was once again hit by these attacks, but he recovered from his daze shortly after Indy moved back. He quickly studied the two students, and realized that Rei was much closer to him than Indy was. He sped over to her and unleashed one of his signature attacks: Braver. He leaped high into the air, then brought his blade down in front of his as he began to close in on his target. Even if Rei dodged the sword, Cloud intended for the shockwave created by this attack to take care of her.

Saki looked back at Allit, then back at the light. "I guess you're right...Emperor Llama might've gotten into trouble. Plus, it's getting pretty late." Saki then started to walk ahead. "If night comes down, we'll have make use of this place and camp out here." He said. His stomach growled again, causing him to stop. "...And maybe find something to eat." Saki then looked back at Allit with his arms behind his head. "By the way, have you ever had a friend before Allit? Cause I've been noticing that you aren't used to us caring about you." He asked curiously. "Just curious."

Annistha bit her lip to keep from laughing at Toshi's reaction to her suggestion. Still, Toshi went over to Raidyn. Maybe she'd work things out after all.

Watching the current match from the sideline for a moment, Annistha remembered there were other things to keep an eye on. She turned, visually sweeping the stands, mentally making note of where the strange girl was. She also caught sight of Somrene sitting alone.

~*Inside the Nexus*~

"Maybe he needs some company." Zather teased.

Annistha gave her brother a scathing look, which caused him to grin.

"Feeling shy?" He asked, smugly.

"Never felt shy in my life." Annistha snapped back. "I'm just tired of you implying that I have a crush on Somrene."

"You could prove me wrong." Zather replied smoothly. "Go sit with him."

"Fine!"

~*Outside the Nexus*~

Squaring her shoulders, Annistha headed for Somrene's place in the stands. She was a surprised by how apprehensive she felt. Oh, damn. Was Zather right? She gave Somrene a surreptitious look, studying the wielder. He reminded her of Zather, which for most would be a turn off, but for Annistha, her brother was the only one she trusted without reservation. Somrene's similarity to Zather made Annistha feel like she could trust him in a similar way. Plus, she had a thing for the whole "tall, dark, and handsome" thing Somrene had going on.

"Oh, gods, did I just think that?" Annistha thought.

Stopping by Somrene, the light twin gave a bright smile to hide her confusion of what she was thinking and feeling.

"You got an extra seat?" She asked.

Sooo Double Magnet didn't work. Great. Guess they're already too far, Joel reasoned.

Joel didn't have time to worry about Raz's mockery of Team Magnet, because Allitt, Saki, Lisa, and Artemis all went running off one after another... while running after Kuzco, hopefully. Unfortunately, the sun was setting, and they had no idea how the jungle would be at night. "C'mon, Max," he said as he hurried after the other students.

Master can calm Raz down again... I hope, he thought as he ran.

When Joel (and probably Max if he followed) reached Allitt, Saki and Art, there was a large flash of light where the others still were.

Well, great.

Joel buzzed around for a moment, trying to assess the situation and figure out what to do.

"Sorry, Saki, but we may not have the luxury of camping out for the night... Although, if you can make a fire, please do so. We can use it as a checkpoint of sorts."

He turned to the others. "Allitt, stay here and help Saki and keep an eye out for anything rustling around. Max, once the fire's up you should go back and see what happened, and get the others over here. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out the direction as we just came that way. Art and I will venture out a bit to find Kuzco and Pacha. With any luck, Kuzco will stop because it's getting dark and Pacha will be able to catch up to him."

Saki nodded to his great leader and turned around to the supplies for making fire. "Understood, Joel-San." He said before walking, kneeling down and picking up some sticks along the way. "Lisa! Allit-San! Come on!" He called. Of course, Lisa tailed along with him in finding some rocks and sticks for the fire.

-Artemis Thornton-

"If I'm going to be honest here, Allitt, arguments like that rarely happen. And they seem to always involve Raz, no surprise there, given that he's a psychopath. Right now, I like reckless, as long as it gets the job done." Artemis replied, his tone serious but not annoyed, although Saki was well on his way to pissing him off.

The arrival of Joel didn't surprise him really, more his plan as it was...well, an honest to Kingdom Hearts plan. "...well, at least we won't be sleeping in a damn jungle. If I might make a very blunt suggestion: Saki? Your bloody Monkey must have some experience gathering something resembling food, so go send him to get you some so you'll be quiet, okay?" He added and ordered, pointing a direction at random as he suggested the idea as he hadn't a clear idea of where food sources in this Jungle were.

"Allitt? If anything, Joel is our most sane, so you might like him. And you can think what you will of me, but I think we can agree on something...I don't need to say what that is really." Artemis said, half-tempted to pat her on the shoulder, but thought it best not to right now, as she wasn't in the best of moods. "...and...try to lighten up, if you can...we're not really that bad and, I think the reason most of us trust you is because...well, maybe they just want you with us? I don't know why I trust you, maybe it's that, maybe it's something else...but that's my theory, so...try and keep your chin up." He added, with his voice becoming softer as he did, then he walked to Joel. "What's our specific plan for locating them, Joel?" He asked.

"If that's the case..." Aello paused for a second, collecting her thoughts, "he's going to be fine." Her sort of classmate wasn't exactly nice, but he certainly wasn't pure evil. But master Zion didn't look like she was doing very well... If the master couldn't do anything but wait to recover, though, then there was probably nothing she could do. "Are we going after the others, then?" The student questioned after Zion asked Luna to pick her up. Her peers were probably ok, many of them were much stronger than she was, but that didn't stop her from worrying a bit. "I hope they're still allright."

As Raz's body dropped to the ground, it was scorching hot. In his mind he was scared of what might happen, he would go back and forth thinking he was pure evil but other times he would think there was still good in him. He then heard a voice, "Don't worry Raz, I know the real you." Zar said to him, and soon enough his eyes opened with tears dripping down his face. He decided not to move though, he was scared of what people would say, and especially Master Zion. He just laid there thinking about what to say.

Zion flapped her wings, and now hovered over Raz.

"...You have the potential to be more than an arrogant, ignorant asshole. If you continue to be as such, there won't be Purifying Dawn. There only shall be Long and Dark December."

She floated back to Luna, and passed out.

-Rei-

She held her Keyblade up and met the Buster Sword. Braver struck, and she was thrown back into the forcefield. Her clothes devastated, she panted, looking like she belonged in Senran Kagura. She slowly stood, panting.

"My turn."

Keyblade blazing, she suddenly executed Zantetsuken Holyja, ending up behind Cloud, light fading after the attack.

"What was that about sane?" Max walked out of a bush, having finally caught up with the others as he examined the surroundings, where Joel wishes to spend the night in.

"If I can add my opinion, I don't think i'd like to camp here, i'd much rather keep moving after Kuzco and Pacha while the trail's still fresh" he said crouching to one knee as he looked over to Artemis, who was all but kissing Allit right then and there. which made Max just roll his eyes as he stood back up. as he felt nauseous all of a sudden. as he stumbled into a tree, "Ugh. damn, this shit's getting too common." He said shaking his head as he tried to his condition from the others, to no avail of course. As he punched a tree, very weakly...didn't stop the tree from breaking down and falling backwards though... Much to Max's surprise, "I apologize..." He said.

Looking back the way they came. "I hope the others come though, if get separated, it'l be bad." He commented.
