Raz looks at Saki annoyed, "I wasn't talking to you now was I." Raz states. He begins walking over to Allitt and stops to look at each person in the group and sees Max, he smiles. "Ahh, Maxxy it's been awhile hasn't it... What's with the scared stance, you aren't afraid of me now are you?" Raz asks walking towards Max, with a smirk on his face. The last step he takes is right in front of Max and at the same time he takes the step he summons both of his keyblades both perpendicular from his neck one in the front and one in the back. He stays in this position not allowing Max to me and inch, he then let's out a laugh and de-summons his keyblades. "Relax Maxxy, I'm just kidding take a load off and enjoy yourself... I'm not going to hurt anyone, yet." Raz says turning back around and walking back towards Allitt.

Luna couldn't help but lightly blush and giggle, even if it wasn't something she was used to doing, but it seemed Zion brought out a different side of her...perhaps even the best of her. "I'll try my best, Master~" She replied softly.

It didn't take long for Artemis to occupy his attention with something else, namely Zar acting strange...and he knew exactly why: Zar had allowed Raz to take over...and it didn't seem to be waning or fading. Zar had given up.

"You're weak." He did not mutter this, he said it out loud to Raz, knowing he would hear him, but still kept his usual pose and composure. "Both you and the side that gave up. But I can't pity you, Raz." Artemis spoke, seeming familiar with the other side of Zar, as Art was one to observe people and especially Zar in his moments of talking to thin air and addressing it as Raz.

Saki made a confused expression at what Art called "Zar".

"Raz? Why did you call Zar Raz? Unless...." Saki thought and thought and even hit his head to try to think of an explanation. Until it finally came to him. "...Unless you aren't really Zar!" He said. He ran towards this Raz character and stopped behind him. "What did you do with the real Zar? Where did he go?" He said, determined to know the answer.

Somrene was forced to use both hands to block the blow, but was still pushed backwards, nearing losing his balance and tipping over. Meanwhile, Ember was busy dashing across the arena, building up speed, her keyblade in her hand. Once she thought she was near enough, she executed Blizzard Dash, ice crystals coating her blade as she cut across Toshi. Somrene also took the opportunity to start dealing some damage, and cast Gravity on Toshi, then ran up and swung Rapture rapidly three times.

Joel found it hard to sleep with all the commotion. He opened his eyes, sat up, and examined the scene that was unfolding. He noticed everyone taking guarded stances and looking at Zar (or rather, Raz).

"Well... butterballs," he muttered as he reoriented himself so that he was sitting cross-legged, continuing to watch the others.

She frowned, then leaned down to kiss Luna's forehead.

"That's all I ask." She said...then turned. "Now take notes."

 

The Keyblade Master teleported between Allitt and Raz, hands clasped behind her back. She smiled radiantly...literally. She began glowing with light.

"Raz. You can chill now, please. Cut out the dark aura and ask her like a normal person. Plus...why the hell are we talking about Traverse Town to begin with? We have no business there yet, Yzma is still causing problems here in the Andes, Kuzco is still a llama. Unless you're asking about Twilight Town...you need to bring Zar back, because this isn't balance. You are not in balance. Zar gave up, gave in, and if you think I'll let you take over and continue acting as such, you are sorely mistaken."

Maximilian was about to answer to Raz, he wasn't scared of a jackass, Max simply kept eye contact with Raz, keeping his cool, even with two keyblades at his throat and back head, keeping silent as Raz spoke, desumoning his keyblades and walking back to Allit. "So Zar, gave up already?" Max muttered.

 

Maximilian was about to stay silent until Raz spoke about not hurting anyone, all cool and all, until he said 'yet', to which Max snap stood up "You're not going to hurt anyone, because if you do, I will end you myself." Max said seriously, much out of character, but he had to make a point, he wasn't scared of Raz, "But it better not come to that." He said, right at the end his eyes flashed a bright purple color, quickly coming back to its normal blue color, he did not notice anything, but someone close might have noticed.

 

He looked over at Zion, "Speaking of Kuzco, isn't it time we moved out yet? I think we've rested enough..." He spoke, remembering that Pacha and Kuzco were waiting

Saki clutched his fist as he started to learn what happened to his ally. He looked up at Raz, actually serious. "Yeah....And I won't let you either! Even if I have to fight you for Zar's freedom." He summoned his Three Wishes Keyblade, then pointed it at Raz. "You tricked Zar, didn't you? Zar is just as important as we are. And I won't let you replace an ally! You just want to have that body to yourself, don't you?" He said, determined to free his ally. "I ain't afraid of you.....Rachet. That's my nickname for ya. Rachet."

Raz noticed everyone getting impatient, and he knew there was no way he was going to take down everyone around him. He heard Art but ignored him since he knew better then to start something that would end up getting him killed. "Alright Master I will behave as best I can... Also, squirt I didn't trick him, he knew what was best for the team." He addressed the whole group, "Zar didn't give up, he was just knew giving IN would help the team more then he could ever do. Now, I did mean Twilight Town, and it's about the people that were there we fought... I want to know who the other people were specificly the girl I fought, you can tell me everything while we are moving... I am sick of this jungle." Raz said summoning his keyblades, "Don't mind these, I just feel a bit more comfortable with'em summoned. You know random encounters and what not." He said with a smirk.

Zion rolled her eyes.

"Yes, summon two and try and make yourself look cool. Kid, you can't win the "I got more Keyblades" fight with me, so march." she snapped her fingers." Let's get moving. Allitt, up. Nephilim, stop swooning. Artemis, keep showing this class why you're the heavy hitter here. Max, keep an eye on Raz here." She scowled. "Giving into your darkness will only lead to destruction. Riku learned that the hard way. And I'll mind them, not that I care if you mind."

Joel, who wasn't sure how he felt about not being addressed/reprimanded by Zion, comically rolled over to Max and stood up.

"Well, I certainly wasn't expecting that," he said, dusting himself off. "But you know... Sometimes it feels like we still like to antagonize darkness, even with these SoLs running around now. It's true that there's a pretty strong association with darkness and things like hate and anger, but I learned once that correlation doesn't imply causation. It seems like we still sometimes act like it does..."

Joel paused and yawned. "But hey, I'm just rambling now, right?" He then remembered that he had ordered some food but never ate it, so he ran into the restaurant to get his food to go and pay for it, and quickly ran back outside.

"Okay, let's move out now!" he exclaimed.

Saki de-summoned his Keyblade and sighed. He was not a fan of this event. Not one bit. "I guess we're stuck with Rachet here." He took a deep breath and called out....

 

"LIIIISAAAAAA!" A finger tapped Saki on the shoulder which is in fact the Bouncywild, who giggled afterwards. "Well, you're up and ready." Saki commented. He then walked past Lisa who skipped along behind him. "Lisa....Believe me when I say this....I despise Raz." He said to Lisa, walking with the others. "I really hope Zar comes back....Please let Zar come back and not this Rachet character..."

"There will be no hurting of anyone here, Raz. Not now, not ever. Not so long as I live..." Artemis told Raz in a cold tone, his right hand now gripping the handle of his Katana, with Art being noticeably on edge yet calm about the situation. "Light and Darkness, they are a balance. Give into one and that's weakness...Zar...you've made a bad choice here." He told him, speaking to Zar on the inside in a solemn tone, truly lamenting what had occurred here.

 

Upon Zion giving her orders, to which he listened to intently, Artemis took his hand off of his Katana and put both hands and forearms behind his back as usual, while he said: "You've got it, Master."

 

-Luna "Nephilim" Urbane-

 

Luna was a little on edge with what was happening with Raz and the others, with not even thoughts or the sight of Zion helping her settle even slightly...Zar, no, Raz, seemed completely off the deep end unlike some she knew who could still be saved, this man...this other side of Zar was irredeemable and shouldn't ever be in control of a body, be it his own or another's.

 

Snapping to attention upon Zion's order of "Stop swooning", Luna stood up, taking her Katana, holding it behind her back horizontally and straightening up. "Yes Ma'am!" She said, readying herself for departure, then whispered. "We seriously have to talk more, you and I." She had a feeling Zion would hear this.

Raz smiled at Zion, "Good idea there 'Master.'" He smiles at Art, "Congrates on the complement... I highly doubt that though." He says with confidence, "Oh and Luna." He grabs her shoulder and whispers in her ear, "Maybe if you faint, she will carry you." He then walks away over to Max, "Here let me make it easier on yourself and stick right by you, we could get to know each other better... Like how you got your keyblades, and I will gladly share how I got mine." Wrapping one if his arms around him.

Andes Mountains

 

Allitt didn't understand what Saki was saying. How were they friends? They'd been enemies not long ago, and she still hadn't warmed up to any of them yet, and had no intention to do so. As for his comment about Zion, she was certain that the Master only kept her alive because of her strange crush. She wasn't at all sure why this boy seemed to think that Allitt was on friendly terms with anyone in the group. However, before she could say anything on the matter, Raz began to interrogate her once again. Luckily for her, the others butted in, upset by his transformation. Less attention directed towards her was good. She decided against saying anything, until Zion commanded that she stand up. As much as it frustrated her to follow orders from Zion of all people, she grumbled as she got back up on her feet. "Alright, alright... The sooner I can get out of here, the better." She muttered, remembering that she'd explained that she was going to leave the group after getting the answers she needed.

 

At the same time, Kuzco let out a sigh of relief at the order to move on. "I thought we'd never get going again!" He exclaimed, and began to trot ahead, even though the others hadn't followed yet. "Let's get moving!"

 

Pacha sighed, though it wasn't in relief. "Well, guess we don't have a choice." He shrugged and followed the emperor quietly.

 

 

Mt. Olympus

 

Cloud was a little surprised by Raidyn's enthusiasm, but he didn't seem to get particularly upset about it. He did seem a little irritated, though. "If you've got questions for me, save them for after the tournament. We've all got to be at our best performance if we want to win." He spoke in a serious manner. However, he didn't sound hostile at all.

 

Rei's kiss made Indy's face turn a little red, but he managed to stay focused. "Uh... yeah, we probably should stop them." He sighed. He'd hoped that he'd finally get a chance to relax with Rei for a little bit... That didn't seem to be happening right now. He walked over to Raidyn, who was still talking to Cloud. "Sorry, sir... He gets pretty excited sometimes." Indy apologized for Raidyn, hoping that would get his friend to quiet down. "Anyway... it's nice to meet you, Mr. Strife. I'm Indy Caelum, I've heard a lot about you. Are you participating in the tournament, too?" He asked, wondering if they'd be going up against the great Cloud Strife at some point.

 

"Yeah. I'm in the next round. I don't know who my opponent is, though." Cloud responded, unaware that he was talking to one of them already.

 

Indy stood for a moment, trying to understand what Cloud had said... Then it click. "I'm going to be up against you?" He sounded a little nervous by the thought of facing Cloud. However, he turned to Rei, remembering that he wasn't alone. "W-well... Rei and I make a pretty good team. I think we'll stand a chance." He tried to sound confident in front of his girlfriend, although he was still a little worried. Of all the opponents for him to face, it just so happened to be Cloud Strife...

Having gotten rid of Somrene for the time being, Toshi should shift her focus to Ember. Although, Ember's Blizzard Dash managed to be swift enough to catch Toshi off-guard, her attack landing harshly against her body and leaving a cold sting from the ice afterwards. Toshi stumbled back, similar to how Somrene was propelled earlier. 

 

Speaking of Sonreme, the powerful young mang was back on his feet and began another attack. Toshi, with quick thinking, casted Cure on her herself, allowing his first attack, the Gravity spell, to be nullified. But then, Sonreme's string of blows fell straight into Toshi's vulnerable state. She tried to block the blows head on, but Sonreme's great strength made it difficult for her to simply do so. The last blow as strong enough to knock Protector out of her hands.

"Whoooa, for real? Cloud and Indy in the same match?" Raidyn said aloud, eyes wide in amazement. "Indy, you're the luckiest guy I know!" Raidyn said, quickly wrapping his arm around his classmate's shoulder. "Man, even though I just fought, I gotta admit that I wouldn't mind taking your place in the next round!" Raidyn said gleefully, completely ignoring Indy's nervous demeanor towards the situation...

"Got it."

Ember leapt into the air and shot down a huge blast of ice right down onto Toshi. Somrene focused down on this next move, closing his eyes as he cast the spell, flames surrounding his body in a fiery aura. With the ice in place, Ember fell to the ground. She rolled to reduce the impact of the fall then called to Somrene.

"All's prepared." She said in a chipper tone. Somrene's eyes opened, and his eyes were nothing but flames. 

"Good." He blitzed forward, breaking into the middle of the ice crystal, then exploded violently, the heat and pressure hurling partially melted chunks of ice all around. Ember deflected one that flew towards her, and her brother slumped to the ground exhausted. Should have been enough though.

Maximilian sighed as Raz continued to annoy him, pushing Raz arm off of him, he didn't quite understood why Zion put him to watch Raz, but he couldn't exactly object, although he did not like it, at all, he would much sooner beat him until Zar came back but that wasn't an option.

 

Hearing Zar speaking about keyblades however, opened up an opportunity for indifferent chatting, "Tell me how you got your twin keyblades first, you did up them at my throat just now, you owe me an explanation on their origins." he asked Raz.

Raz looked at him, "Alright fair enough." Well, Zar was raised in a rich noble family and had three other brothers. He never had a keyblade when he was young, but he would always train with a wooden sword to get better. Then one day his brothers got mad at him that he assumed that he would get a keyblade, so they ran towards him with wooden swords. They began to attack him to the point of bleeding, he was hit so hard in the head he lost consciousness which is when I came into play with the keyblades and protected Zar, killing his brothers." Raz said giving an evil smile. "Seeing them bleed was nice, I enjoyed every minute of it. Their screams, their scared looks, everything... Now that I have told you how I got my keyblades now it's your turn."

'What the f*ck did I just hear' These thoughts echoed inside Maximilian's head after hearing Zar's explanation, "You killed his brothers? what the hell." He said in reply to Raz's story and crossed his arms as the man asked him about how he got his giant of a keyblade. He now knew this man was a masochist, and a murderer, and hoped others would notice that too.

 

"Well its not as bloody as your story but...it is pretty violent." He began to explain, "It begins with me and my stupid habit of helping others in need, back in my hometown I wasn't really that popular, but I still tried to help others who got constantly bullied and picked on, well, there was this small gang of misfits, five of them, one of them a girl and the other males, they used to pick on everyone and I would always interfere but it would only make things worse."

He took a moment to sigh, "Well my keyblade was awakened with me, beaten half to death, right arm broken, three ribs broken and a concussion to my head, not only that but." He went on to show a small scar on his chest by pulling down his clothes collar. "They left this little sourvenir, frankly I don't even know how I was consciouss...I guess im pretty durable, well, they beat me like that because I managed to knock one of them out by surprise when they were trying to bully a girl I liked, awkward, I know." He looked around before continuing.

"And there I was, beaten to near unconciousness and I awakened my keyblade, and darkness, and I beat  the living shit out of the four of them to unconciousness but not as bad as I was beaten, I needed medical help and couldn't exactly walk straight, last thing I remember was carrying myself back home, with my keyblade on my back as I collapsed out of exhaustion and wounds." He said

 

"But I must say, when I awakened i felt a burst of power...of rage, of anger, of hatred,and that fueled me into lunging at them at incredible speeds even though I could barely walk I guess, it was a horrible feeling and I hated it, and I still fear that may happen again..." Max finished his explanation to Raz as they kept walking.

"Well I'm sure Zar would have been happy that you helped them, but why didn't you at least teach one of them a lesson... That probably would have scared them off for good, and not that it really matters but what happened with the girl that you liked? If you liked her that much you probably could have stayed with her." Raz said, as he asked this he looked around, watching the group.

Saki, being behind the group, was overhearing these. Did they surprise him? Hell, yes they did. He couldn't believe that Raz was the one that killed Zar's brothers. What a maniac! And he was just as surprised hearing Max's story. But the difference was the Street had some respect for Max. Not Raz. He clutched his fist, wanting to just yell out and snap at Raz. But even he knew better not to do something as idiotically reckless like that. But he still wanted to try something. "Let me speak to Zar." He said. "I want to speak to Zar. Not Raz. Please, there's got to be some way for me to speak to Zar!" He said, determined to accomplish this.

Noticing Saki wanting to talk to Zar again, Raz was starting to get a vary annoyed, but stayed calm as best he could. "I'm sorry but I can't do that until he wants to come out... I didn't force him to sleep, I just suggested he sleep. Which means I can't force him to come out, so what do you want to say anything to me, I'm the better of the two." Raz said with a smile and a rub on Saki's head.

"I am not fond of killing, I left them with some broken bones,arms, legs, you name it and one with a broken jaw and missing teeth, but even then I could control myself enough not to kill them." Max explained as he sighed and looked down a little, "I doubt it, she was scared shitless of me after that, even after I recovered she refused to even look me in the eye again, avoiding me like the plague, understandable I guess, a month later I was sent to the keyblade academy, I think she must have a boyfriend by now and is happy, which is nice." Max spoke as he noticed Saki approaching Raz.

 

He kept his arms crossed as the two spoke to each other. it wasn't of any use, Zar had given up, and left in his place a maniac.

(I didn't think of giving Joel headphones until now so I'm just gonna pretend that he had them this whole time )

 

While the gang was walking, Joel decided to entertain himself with some tunes. He pulled out his portable music player and his pair of headphones - specially designed bu renowned artist CAT - and plugged in...

Well, he didn't entirely plug in. He kept one ear open to the conversation between Max and Raz (that Saki tried to join in on). He normally didn't do things like eavesdropping, but he figured that he might as well learn a bit about some of his team members.... and Raz. Joel still wasn't sure about Raz. It looked like no one was, really.
