Zar saw everything happen and was about to save Allitt but wasn't as fast as Zion. He saw them disappear right in front of him, Raz was furious. Zar tried to use thunder but was unsuccessful, 'What is going on?' Zar thought. "Let me take control if you can't fight." Raz said. Zar tried to summon his Keyblades but they kept fading in and out, "What is going on?" Zar said aloud. He was completely defenseless, "I... I'm sorry guys, I can't help in anyway." Zar said dropping down on his knees and looking to the ground.

Annistha tilted her head to the side as she and her brother considered the question of teams for the tournament. They personally considered themselves to be a team rolled into one, but it would probably take too long to explain that to the old satyr. And, unless Annistha did the math wrong, that would mean there would be another student left on their own. While Zather didn't care, Annistha felt they couldn't leave a fellow behind.

Looking at those not on teams yet and considering past connections, Annistha strolled over to Toshi.

"So, you and us?" She asked in a friendly tone. "David and Diego seem team material and getting Raidyn and Sandrew together seemed to work last time. I think it's only a matter of practice before we can give the other teams a run for their munny. What do ya say?"

"O-oh, Nexus-er, I mean Annistha..." Toshi said, snapping out of her thoughts of her and Raidyn. "Uh, I mean..."

 

She was ready to agree, thinking of how well she and Nexus were able to manage with each other earlier when they fought the Guard Armor. However, she also still wanted to prove herself to be a more competent Keyblade wielder, so maybe if would better if she went with a different option.

 

"Well... actually, um, Annistha, I think I'll be going into the tournament solo. It's not that I don't want to be your partner, but I just feel I should try a hand at fighting just with my own merits this time. But, thank you for your offer," Toshi responded politely.

In the midst of his thoughts, Raidyn remembered how well he and Sandrew worked together during their fight with the Guard Armor. Spotting the sandy haired boy, he went over to him.

 

"Hey Sandrew, I was thinking about registering for the tournament in a team, and I figured you and I would make a pretty good combo. So what do you say? You wanna show off some of that Keyblade chemistry?" Raidyn asked.

"I mean... I was planning on just watching you all fight, it's not my thing to fight when I don't need to, but I mean I guess..."

 

His eyes darted around the room, looking for an excuse. However, being surrounded by Master Sora's awards wasn't much of a place to find an excuse in. He sighed, brushing his hair back. "I'll do my best to not fail you, I guess. What is our team name?"

His eyes darted around the room, looking for an excuse. However, being surrounded by Master Sora's awards wasn't much of a place to find an excuse in. He sighed, brushing his hair back. "I'll do my best to not fail you, I guess. What is our team name?"

 

"Alright, great!" Raidyn cheered. "And as for a team name... that's a very question," Once again, Raidyn went back to his thinking face.

 

"Ooh, I got it!" Raidyn said a few moments later. "Since I use Thunder magic and you have that, uh, rock magic you use... how about we name ourselves 'Energy Stone'?"

"Alright, great!" Raidyn cheered. "And as for a team name... that's a very question," Once again, Raidyn went back to his thinking face.

 

"Ooh, I got it!" Raidyn said a few moments later. "Since I use Thunder magic and you have that, uh, rock magic you use... how about we name ourselves 'Energy Stone'?"

Sandrew walked over to Phil, and waited for Raidyn in the meantime. The goat-man intimidated him, so he didn't want to do the talking...

"Hello, sir. Uh..." Though Raidyn was more excited to see Hercules in this world, he still knew of Philocetes aka Phil who trained Hercules into the hero he is today. Thus, Raidyn felt a little giddy at getting a chance to talk to the short goatman. 

 

"Um... ah man, I can't help it, I"m so glad to meet you!" Raidyn said, grabbing the goatman's small hand and shaking it rapidly. "If I can, let me just say that I happen to be a huge fan of your work. I mean, I wouldn't be motivated to challenge Hercules if you hadn't trained him and then who else would I be able challenge from this world anyway? Zar slowly woke up, he noticed that he was sitting in a chair next to Joel. "H-How did I get here?" Zar asked to no one in particular. He looked down at his hands, and clinched them into fists. "Why can't I control it?" He asked thinking.

 

Andes Mountains

 

After Yzma finished off her order, she looked at Kronk. "What was it that you wanted?"

 

"Well, you see, I had a few questions about your menu..." Kronk began. "You see, I was looking at some of the food here..." He pointed to an item on the kid's menu. "Do you happen to have the nutrition information for this? Gotta make sure I'm eating right, I'm on a diet." He explained himself.

 

 

Outside the restaurant, Allitt seemed annoyed by Zion deciding to lean on her without asking. She couldn't tell if it was the woman's way of keeping her under control, or just an attempt at flirting with her. She decided to view it as a mix of both. Artemis' odd change in behavior also bothered her. She would have continued with her usual snappy responses, but Zion's presence made her decide to calm down a bit. "What happened to your tough act from earlier? You've softened up quite a bit." She pointed out calmly, not showing much emotion.

(Oh, Kronk.)

Zion was a flash. Allitt's shriek barely began to echo when a bright flash of light lit up the area, brighter than the sun.

"Execute Mode Three. Authorization Code: Oriana."

 

Her wings growing, Zion was radiant. "Archangel of Light."

And then she deftly sliced every damn appendage off and grabbed Allitt as Max's magnet pulled her out of the things grasp.

"firetruck...firetruck...TAKE THIS THING OUT!"

 

Zion teleported right back into Forward Unto Dawn, and hit the ground. Her power died, and she went limp.

"...I'm a firetrucking idiot...I haven't gone into any forms for almost two years...dammit..." Zion groaned. "You okay Allitt? I...I don't think I'll be moving for a minute, heh."

(Um, okay then.)

 

Max simply frowned at Zion's move, "REALLY?! you go and save the girl we barely even know! instead of helping your students?!" he shouted as he sighed, "god dammit." he said with a flat tone as he saw the Stealth sneak's location with the glowing orbs, problem was the orbs were soon thrown at him. "Ah shit!" he said as he quickly slammed his keyblade down, hoping to cast an earth spell.

 

And it worked, he was quickly protected from the orbs by a dome of earth which was cast around him, as the earth broke soon after. "Now what..." he said as he had lost the enemy again, but he had a small plan, pherhaps he couldn't pull it towards him, but he could pull himself towards it!.

 

He quickly cast Magnet, and instead of the sneak being pulled, Max was pulled towards it, following the spell and pull with a heavy slam of his  huge keyblade, darkness now starting to flow around him already. His darkness generation was indeed quite fast.

 

 

-Artemis Thornton-

 

"...I don't know why either." He could only say, then he stayed silent for a while as some more events unfolded, then they were approached by Kronk and Yzma who openly threatened them and claimed they were to eliminate them, including Allitt, by order of someone in a Black Coat...The Seekers of Light?

"Clearly, if it's the Seekers, they don't value you at all." He addressed Allitt with this statement before the perpetrators brought forth a friend, an invisible, roaring creature which snagged and began crushing Allitt. Inside, Artemis felt a storm of emotions within him, causing him to draw his Katana with some kind of anger, helped by his almost instinctive shout of: "ALLITT!" He had defied what he said before....why?

 

He had no time to think as Zion saved her by assaulting the creature, revealed to be a Stealth Sneak, with her monumental power over Light and left with Allitt, taking her to safety at the dismay of Maximilian, but to the relief of Artemis, who then began to focus on the Stealth Sneak.

 

"This Stealth Sneak...it fights differently..." He muttered, his blade at the ready, awaiting its strike. He knew it would, even as Max attacked it.

 

-Luna "Nephilim" Urbane-

 

Luna was just able to catch the events in motion from her seat near the window, watching Allitt be attacked, Artemis fear for her life and Zion attack the Heartless and take Allitt to safety. Not wanting to stay to the sidelines, she stood up, her Katana in its sheath and in hand, she braced herself. "Sorry, got to go!" She shouted, diving through and shattering the window and dashing towards the battle zone. "Thank Kingdom Hearts that was a thin window..." She thought to herself.

 

 

"YIPE!" Saki jumped and even fell, being surprised by the Stealth Sneak's appearance. "Aw, come on! This guy's invisible!? That's no fair!" He exclaimed. Lisa rushed towards him, checking he was okay. "If you guys have any plans on taking it down, now would be the time to tell us!" He also said.

"Uh, we're just taking a break to eat," Joel told Zar when he awoke. He then heard a commotion at the other table, as Saki was messing with the other customers. Then Max went to grab Saki, and they exited the restaurant. The old lady and the large man who was accompanying her soon left as well. Zar left too.

After a moment, a scream was heard from the outside, followed by the sounds of a struggle and battle music suddenly playing. Luna decided that using the door would take too long, so she jumped out the window. Crap, I hope we don't have to pay for that, Joel thought.

He then jumped through the broken window.

Upon making it outside, Joel saw... Max... flying? No, Max had just used a Magnet spell to pull him forward. Joel didn't see any enemy, though. The odd characters who had followed Max out of the restaurant were nowhere to be seen, though. Zion and Allitt were gone, too. Saki and Zar were down on the ground, and Artemis was standing close to them.

Joel summoned his Keyblade and ran toward Saki and the others. "Would somebody mind telling me what the heck is going on?!"

Saki made a uncomfortable expression with Kronk's foot on in his way. He was about to push it away, but it seems that he didn't need to.But what he did need to do was to come up with another plan. And this one involved quick think. If this didn't work, nothing else would.The young Street Rat quickly climbed up to the seat, sitting next to Kronk and faced the old woman with a "Have-pity-on-me-I'm-sad" expression."Please miss. Have mercy on me. I'm just poor kid struggling to get a single morsel of food...I hid under the table so I could at least have something eat. I'm sorry if I made you mad..." He said, with the big pitiful, helpless eyes. He even shed a single tear. One rule to being a Street Rat: You've got to be one hell of a good actor.

Mt. Olympus Phil quickly wrote down Ember and Somrene's team name. "Alright. Good luck in the tournament." He told the two before they moved on. Indy's face was once again bright red after Ember asked her question. "Well, uh... Rei and I are a pretty good team, too. Figured I might as well go with a new partner for once." He grinned. "So... are you ready to go, Rei?" He asked. "We're not going to get any cool entrances like in that last battle, but I expect you to pull off some other flashy moves like you usually do."  Andes Mountains Allitt sighed. "I'll tell you whatever you want about the Seekers when we're done here. Until then, we'll keep focused on your mission." She knew her excuse wasn't all that great, but she didn't intend on betraying the Seekers. Shortly afterwards, Max and Saki both left the restaurant, and Max asked for her name. "Allitt Caelum. I already said that, didn't I?" She asked, sounding a bit annoyed.  Thankfully, she didn't need to worry much about covering for her excuse. Back inside the restaurant, Yzma was still furious. "If you need food, go hunt in the jungles with the animals. Don't come begging me for something to eat!" After she had finished lecturing him, another boy approached. She noticed that they looked out of place... She also noticed the other students in the restaurant. "Kronk... you remember what that man told us, right?" "The man... the man in the cloak... He said to keep an eye out for anyone who looked out of place." Kronk answered, and looked around. "Uh... why are you bringing that up again?" He asked, clueless about what Yzma was currently suggesting. "I believe we've found our targets." She smirked. She quickly peeked out the window, noticing the group that had assembled outside as well. One of particular interest to her was Allitt. "That one's wearing a cloak... He told us that a girl with a similar cloak to his might be with those outsiders." Yzma stood up. "They've come right to us, Kronk!" "Uh... if you're going to cause a scene, could you do that outside? Might be good to not hurt any of these people." Kronk suggested. Yzma sighed. "Very well, very well..." She ran outside, followed by Kronk. She pointed towards Zion and the others. "We've been looking for you..." An evil grin spread across her face. "We were told to keep an eye out for you... and eliminate you if we had the chance." She informed them. "Especially the girl in the cloak." Allitt looked confused. "Who ordered you to kill me along with them?" She slid out from underneath Zion's chin and stood, summoning her Keyblade. "A man in a cloak that looked just like yours. We didn't get his name, but he seemed to want you gone." Yzma answered Allitt's question. "... One of the Seekers...? Allitt couldn't think of anyone else fitting that description, but at the same time, she didn't know why they'd be after her... She remembered that she was being threatened. She didn't have time to think. "I don't think you'll stand much of a chance against all of us. Unless you've got something up your sleeves, you'll lose quickly." Allitt spoke forcefully, though she wasn't bluffing like she had been against Zion. She knew she could take these two down without trying. "It's good for us that we have a trick, then." Yzma motioned towards some nearby trees, which suddenly seemed to crash to the ground. While no one could see what it was, something large was approaching the group. A loud roar filled the air, scaring the people in the restaurant. "I hope you all have fun with this one. Now, Kronk, let's let our new friend handle them." The two ran off into the jungle, though Kronk could be heard pointing out that they still hadn't gotten their food yet. 

Aello was slightly lost. Instead of escaping, Saki decided to beg for food from the confirmed bad guys, and then the bad guys talked about black cloaked guys and targets and then ran outside and the ground shook. Oh, and now Saki was outside too... Right. Aello carefully removed her stollen uniform, folded it, and placed it neatly on the table. You should always be careful with things that don't belong to you, after all. That accomplished, she summoned her keyblade and charged out the door, ignoring the broken window, and happily yelling "Monster!" Well, what else could have made those loud crashing noises? But... There was no monster in sight. "Hey, guys... Where did the monster go?"

Annistha actually smiled as Toshi explained that she wanted to go solo with the tournament.

"All good." she said. "I fully understand. Good luck in the tournament, Toshi. You're gonna do great."

Walking away from Toshi, Annistha nodded to herself. She'd have to watch Toshi's matches when she could.

[Nexus Shift]

Zather, happy for other reasons that Toshi was going solo, marched up to Phil.

"Me and my sister would like to join the tournament under the name 'Nexus'." He said.

(Welp, I missed a lot, time to jump in~)Lucas was too distracted fantasizing about Alitt for 10 minutes straight when he finally saw Max fly by through the window. "HOLY CARP!" He summoned his keyblade and jumped out the window, only to see everyone else fighting a Shadow Sneak and saw Joel questioning what was going on. "Heh, you're not the only one lost Joel." He said sheepishly.

 

He then looked over to the heartless again and raised his keyblade. Maybe i can do something! He fired off two rounds of Thunder at the Shadow Sneak and ran up to it, doing a rising strike into the air and slashing back down again, albeit leaving himself wide open after falling back down to theground.

(Welp, I missed a lot, time to jump in~)Lucas was too distracted fantasizing about Alitt for 10 minutes straight when he finally saw Max fly by through the window. "HOLY CARP!" He summoned his keyblade and jumped out the window, only to see everyone else fighting a Shadow Sneak and saw Joel questioning what was going on. "Heh, you're not the only one lost Joel." He said sheepishly. He then looked and saw Alitt standing up, panting a bit from the attack she took from the Heartless. He quickly dashed over and got in front of her with his keyblade in a defensive position in case the heartless tried something. "Hey, are you alright? Did this thing hurt you?"

(Apparently, you did miss a lot. Allitt was taken away by Zion. ._. Not sure who Lucas is talking to, but it's not Allitt.)

One of the girls suddenly transforming into a boy confused him, but he'd seen stranger events in the past. "Alright, you're all signed up." He looked back at Toshi, David, and Diego. "That leaves you three. You all ready to sign up?" He asked them, not wanting to leave anyone out. He also listened to Raidyn's autograph request. He waved the boy away, sighing as he did so. "Ask after the tournament, maybe you'll get one then."

 

Indy walked over to Raidyn. "Heh, looks like you've got a partner, too." He grinned. "Good luck in the tournament. If we go up against each other, I won't hold back just because you're my best friend." He teased. "Rei and I make a pretty good team. I haven't seen you team up with Sandrew yet, but I get the feeling that you must work well together if he wanted to team up with you, too. It'd be a good match if we fought each other."

The Stealth Sneak cried in pain once again after the two attacks dealt to it, but it still remained invisible. Noticing that Lucas was open, it jumped over to him, creating a small, visible crater where it landed. It then swiped its good claw at Lucas, trying to hurt him while he was still recovering from his attack.

 

 

Forward Unto Dawn

 

"I'm sure that most of these people wouldn't care if I'd died. In case you've forgotten, I'm not with you or the other academy students. I could have betrayed you at any time... Everyone would probably feel a lot safer if you'd let me die there." Allitt pointed out to Zion. "Also, there are plenty of faces out there that are prettier and on your side, I'm sure. Falling for the enemy isn't the brightest decision you could ever make." Allitt was getting tired of arguing at this point. She just wanted to go back and take down that stupid Heartless, and find out why another Seeker would order her death.

"Really? Awesome! I'll be sure to remember, Mr. Phil!" Raidyn cried, giving his favorite half-man, half goat a thumbs up.

 

Indy walked over to Raidyn. "Heh, looks like you've got a partner, too." He grinned. "Good luck in the tournament. If we go up against each other, I won't hold back just because you're my best friend." He teased. "Rei and I make a pretty good team. "Same here buddy, I wouldn't have it any other way," Raidyn said.

 

"Trust me, Team Energy Stone is gonna rock these mountains with tons of electrifying power! ... Heh. Get it? Rocks, electricity? Me and Sandrew? Heh heh?" Raidyn asked, poking Indy in the arm with his elbow.

With every passing second, Sandrew regretted this more and more. 

 

"I just wanna eat pretzels..." He whispered quite quietly, fading into the background as he so expertly does in most situations, vanishing in the blink of an eye. "Call me when our turn is up, Raidyn. Trust me, I'll be here." Sandrew's voice echoed in the reception hall. 

 

Meanwhile, somewhere, a pretzel vendor ran out of pretzels, and instead had a wad of munny big enough to afford it all, but he wasn't sure where it all came from or what took his pretzels. C'est Le Vie, so they say. A shop across the way held toys of Hercules, drink cups, sandals, and more. In his pack, Sandrew stuffed a cup, a bobble head, and a wall-scroll of Hercules and Master Sora when he was younger against the Rock Titan, and in their place left cash in the register and a receipt on the counter. One of few advantages of being nearly invisible was that you could serve yourself, even if you weren't in a self-serve shop.

 

As if he hadn't been gone for long, Sandrew returned to the building, the only thing giving his location, which was the corner near the door, was the pile of twisted bread he held on him, as he consumed on one of his many glorious treats.

 

(...If you can't tell, I want a pretzel. Badly. And right now, Sandrew is my vehicle for that.)

It then swiped its good claw at Lucas, trying to hurt him while he was still recovering from his attack.

"I'm sure that most of these people wouldn't care if I'd died. In case you've forgotten, I'm not with you or the other academy students. I could have betrayed you at any time... Everyone would probably feel a lot safer if you'd let me die there." Allitt pointed out to Zion. "Also, there are plenty of faces out there that are prettier and on your side, I'm sure. Falling for the enemy isn't the brightest decision you could ever make." Allitt was getting tired of arguing at this point. She just wanted to go back and take down that stupid Heartless, and find out why another Seeker would order her death.

Lucas, being unable to react fast enough after leaving himself open, took the hit. "AGH!" He got slashed across the stomach and hit away in front of a tree. "Ugh...Ok...You're asking for it!" He slowly rose up, putting pressure with his hand on the slash for a moment, and quickly fired off two more rounds of Thunder at the Shadow Sneak, and turned to the others as he did it. "Hey guys, it'd be nice if you could help me fight off this guy please! I mean, i'd love to take it down myself, but we're a team, aren't we?" He added slyly.

Joel still couldn't see the attacker, but he was able to see the impact that it created from jumping, and he saw Lucas getting hit.

"Somebody take care of Lucas's wound!" he shouted to the others. (Sorry but idr who all has Cure )

Something had to be done before the Stealth Sneak moved too much, otherwise they would just be sitting ducks. He ran forward, straining to hear any footsteps from the Heartless. As he got near the crater, he unleashed a Gravity spell in the area where he thought the Stealth Sneak was, hoping that he would be able to hit his target.

"Ehh.....I'm gonna let you guys handle this one...Come on Lisa!" Saki said, grabbing Lisa's hand and running to the side of the restaurant building, watching the fight. Normally he'd want to participate, but an invisible Heartless?....Now that's a bit much for a Street Rat....It's not fair!

Artemis cursed himself for not being able to help Lucas in time, he should have been faster and had his head in the game.

If there was anything he could not abide however, it was cowardice, as he saw Saki pull an "Every man for himself" with Lisa and hid to the side of the Restaurant Building, peaking his head around the corner.

"....you goddamn coward!" He shouted to him, then hurled a Thunder Spell at where the Stealth Sneak last was, then a few more in the surrounding area just to be sure.

"Get back here and fight! And I don't mean the Stealth Sneak, Saki!" Artemis called.

Hearing Artemis's frustration with Saki's retreat, along with being annoyed by it herself, Luna ran to Saki and Lisa...and bitch-slapped Saki.

"What in the Worlds are you thinking?! This is a team effort, no room for spectators I am afraid, Saki! Get out there and assist your friends!" She was angry, but her fury was expressed in calm, almost whispery words that could terrify Ansem, Seeker of Darkness. The fury of a calm person, it was like fear itself.
