"She won't let go, you two are bound by destiny it seems... you two may now kiss." Maximilian teased Saki again, as he turned to face Joel, shrugging at his attempt to Throw Lisa away, "Nothing much we can do, just gotta accept the fact that we now have a heartless in our team...boy Zion is gonna have a fit when she hears about this..." he said with a sigh as he summoned his massive keyblade as well, and continued to walk towards the voices, who were getting ever closer and louder.

Joel sighed with a possible hint of disappointment.

"Tell me about it," he responded to Max's comments. "I just hope she doesn't kill me for this," he added as he continued walking forward.

"Since it looks like these guys are daft enough to not react to this commotion, I suppose the next best thing to do is to jump 'em, right?" he said with a smile.

 

(Now hopefully the mystery peeps do something, unless this world functions on the principles of Zeno's paradoxes and we'll keep on walking toward the voices without ever reaching them.)

"Don't be surprised, Saki, if Zion utterly brutalizes Lisa the moment she sees her. So don't get attached to this oddly quirky monkey." Artemis warned, then shook his head upon reflecting on what he just said and the prior tumble several people just had, ending up blowing their cover and any chance at Stealth.

He took out his Keyblade and looked around. "Well, I suppose none of you have a Cardboard Box on hand? Thought not, so we'd better introduce ourselves." He pointed out.

 

-Luna "Nephilim" Urbane-

 

"Strange Heartless...." Luna mused, then took out her Keyblade too.

"Why me...." Saki said while Lisa was still hugging him. After a moment, Lisa then let him go and giggled. "You are the strangest being I've ever met...And says a lot." Saki said and sighed. He was stuck with an outcast of a Heartless. This was really going to be interesting. "Well....I guess we have to watch out for Master Zion. Once she comes back, you have to GO. Like, Run Lisa run. Out. Gone. Not seen again. Got it, Lisa?" The reaction was a bit of a delay, but Lisa nodded. "Alright then. Come on, you might as well follow us for now." Saki said before following the others with Lisa following from behind.

"Why me...." Saki said while Lisa was still hugging him. After a moment, Lisa then let him go and giggled. "You are the strangest being I've ever met...And says a lot." Saki said and sighed. "You know, just warning you now...again, if Zion orders me to kill Lisa, I'll do it. Without question, even if she runs. Heartless in all honestly, jesting aside, are not to be trusted." He said with an oddly cold tone to Saki. "So again: Don't be getting attached." Artemis added without sympathy, making his way forward.

Ember hopped a little bit, staying light on her toes. She smiled, the fight having shaken her out of her rather short-lived funk over the fact that the Coliseum was closed. "Sounds great! I always wanted to see Thebes. I bet it looks so cool, all full of columns and stuff." She commented.

"And we might get some information." Somrene added on, glancing towards the pathway towards town.

On top of the main gate knelt the figure. Her hop fluttering in the wind, she kicked off and swan dived to earth, landing in a crouch as she drew her gunblade.

"...target...acquired." they charged without warning at Indy, but Rei did a forward flip.off him and blocked with her Keyblade. She skidded back, then kicked off. She was about to unleash some magic when the figure was in front of her. She tried to block but the next thing she knew was the blade running along her back. She hit the ground hard as blood splattered a wall, and the figure turned to Indy.

"...res-" she fell to a knee with a scream. She turned to Rei, a hand reaching out...then vanished in a flash of light, leaving the badly.wounded Rei on the ground.

Mt. Olympus

 

"Alright, Thebes it is, then." Indy nodded, but suddenly, an odd figure in a robe arrived, trying to attack him. Rei defended him, but... It was clear that she was in really bad shape. He summoned his Keyblade, but the figure had already fled. His Keyblade disappeared, and he ran over to Rei, kneeling down to get a better look. "Rei, are you okay?!" No response. Crap... this is bad. "O-okay... everyone, go head to Thebes and see what's going on there. I'll stay back here with Rei and make sure she gets better. We'll catch up with you soon." He tried to sound calm, but he was clearly panicking. He just started leading this group, and there was already a potentially fatal attack... After quickly checking to make sure that Rei was still breathing, Indy lifted her off the ground. "Good luck, guys. Keep an eye out for any attacks like that one, got it?" He ran back on the team's ship, hoping that there was some sort of place he could go to heal Rei. "Crap... how do I get around here...?" He muttered to himself as he frantically searched the large ship.

 

 

 

Andes Mountains

 

Due to Lucas and Joel's sudden noises, the voices went silent for a moment. After a while, one spoke again. "... Did you hear that?" One asked quietly, clearly the voice of a young man.

 

"Yeah... I'll go check it out." The second voice clearly belonged to an older man. After a few more quiet moments, a head popped out from between a few trees. The head, belonging to a man with black hair and a brown cloth hat, studied the group of students. After realizing that they didn't seem to be much of a threat, he ran out. He wore a large green poncho, and looked concerned. "What are you all doing out here? This jungle is dangerous." He asked the group. "You should all try to get somewhere safe. There are all sorts of dangerous animals living here."

 

"Pacha, what's going on out there?! Is it safe?" The first voice called out, and shortly afterwards, another head peeked out at the group. However, this head didn't belong to a human. It was a llama head. "What are these people doing here, Pacha?" The llama asked.

 

"I don't know, that's what I was just asking them!" Pacha responded, seemingly aggravated by the talking llama.

"Woah....It's a talking llama!!" Saki exclaimed, with his expression filled with amazment. He began jumping up and down again, getting his excitement back and ran towards a llama. "Hi, Mr. Llama! I'm Saki and that's....Lisa." Lisa giggled once Saki said her name. "Yeah.....And these are all my friends! I'm thinking that's your friend over there. What's your name Mr. Llama?" Saki couldn't help but snicker for just saying the word "Llama".

"Hee hee! It's just fun to say the name! L-l-l-l-la-a-mmma! Heh heh heh! Llama! Llama! Llama! Llama! Llama!" The Street Rat just laughed and laughed by just saying llama. Lisa giggled as well with Saki.

Zather's head snapped around when he caught the scent of the dark hooded figure. He threw himself forward into a roll.

[Nexus Shift]

Annistha came out of the roll into a crouch, swinging her Keyblade, sending a few Ruin spells after the attacker, but she was gone. Muttering something unrepeatable, Annistha bounded up and over to Indy and Rei. She looked worried and antsy, cursing that her knowledge of healing spells had been lost along with some of her other memories.

"Anybody know any healing spells?" She asked, a frantic edge to her voice. "We got to at least stabilize her."

"Not Rei." She thought, as her brother tried to calm her down in their link. "Not now."

Seeing that these guys weren't out to kill them or anything, Joel unsummoned his Keyblade. He then proceeded to grab Saki's ear in a comical fashion in order to get him to stop.

"Sorry, you'll have to forgive this one," Joel said to the man that the llama called Pacha. "He just gets excited like that."

He released Saki's ear to offer the man a handshake. "The name's Joel. This one is Saki. The, er,monkey is... Lisa. Then there's Lucas, Max, Zar, Luna, Aello and Artemis," he said, pointing out each person as he introduced them. (Sorry if anyone dislikes this, but I figured it'd be easier to do this then to have everyone introduce themselves and stuff. Feel free to still say something if you have something else to comment on, though )

"Also, there's another one flying around somewhere," he added, referring to Zion.

"Now, to answer your question... We are looking for some people, and our search has led us here. Unfortunately, we now seem to be a bit lost. Seeing as you're familiar with the area, we would deeply appreciate it if you could help us out. If you need anything in return, we could protect you and your friend from whatever lurks around here," Joel offered to Pacha.

Raidyn / Toshi

 

"Who the heck is that?!" Raidyn said aloud as the figure in the black hood engaged in battle with Rei. Although, neither he or Toshi were able to keep up with their movements, and Raidyn certainly was not ready to see his classmate brutally assaulted by the mysterious attacker and left laying on the ground.

 

Toshi covered her mouth in horror while Raidyn simply turned pale. While Toshi was fairly still clued into what was going on at that moment despite being scared, Raidyn was spacing out, thinking about the attacker.

 

That guy was fast... maybe faster than me. I couldn't even react to what he was doing in time. And if that's how it is... then what's gonna happen the next time we meet? What if I fight him? What if...

 

"Raidyn... Raidyn!" Toshi called, shaking Raidyn by the shoulder.

 

"Whoa! Ugh... oh, uh, sorry," Raidyn said, now listening and hearing Indy command them to continue on to Thebes while he takes care of Rei. "S-sure, Indy, we'll do that. Let's head out, guys."

 

"Wait, Indy, do you need my help?" Toshi asked, being that she is capable of using healing magic.

"Ow-Ow! Hey, don't do that!" Saki said rubbing his ear. "That hurts..." He then looked at Lisa. Something was different about her. Her yellow eyes were looking angry. "Uh-oh..." He quickly ran to Lisa, worried about what she might do. "Lisa! Lisa! It's okay, I'm fine see? I'm not hurt or anything! Look, I'm fine!" Lisa looked at Saki and her eyes were changed from angry to normal. Saki sighed in relief, but would need to breath because Lisa once again hugged him tightly. "Just don't....Hurt....The others..." He managed to strain and say. In response, Lisa nodded and let go of Saki, who breathed deeply. "That was a close one."

Observing the Heartless' behaviour, Artemis couldn't help but feel this Monkey was more trouble that it was worth, especially as it had appointed itself as Saki's stalker.

He sighed deeply as they met with a man and a llama, while Joel introduced them all, Artemis half-bowing as his name was mentioned, while Luna curtsied.

"The people we are looking for are dangerous and very....hypocritical. Seen anyone like that? They also have Black Coats, last time we saw some of them." Artemis added to Joel's questioning, his forearms and hands behind his back again in a courteous fashion.

 

-Luna "Nephilim" Urbane-

 

"My name is indeed Luna, but only certain people are allowed to call me that, so call me Nephilim for future reference...if you please." She said most of her sentence in a stern tone but her last three words were with her usual smile, then she looked around. "Personally, I'm surprised you guys aren't the ones we thought we'd meet. They took their sweet time being dramatic about their entrances the first time...and one of them was curb-stomped by our Master." She said, chuckling at the thought of the last part.

Zar was still swore but quickly kept up with them, when the llama talked Zar was taken aback and Raz wanted to kill it. "Relax Raz.... He doesn't look like a heartless, and they can't even talk." Zar told Raz, "I know." Raz said relaxing. Zar stomach growled, "Um... Do you also think we could get some food... I'm starving." Zar said raising his hand and grabbing his stomach.

Lucas stared at the talking Llama for a second as Joel introduced everyone to them and the man. He de-summoned his keyblade and slowly walked over to the llama and put his hand on his head and started petting it. "Guys, this is the coolest thing ever, it's a talking animal." He said in shock and awe.

Maximilian stared at the talking llama as well, at a loss for words, he had seen talking animals before, but not a freaking Llama!, "Well damn..." he muttered as he stood in the back,  smirking at Nephilim's comment, "Whatever you say Neph." he said jokingly. "Now what..." he asked as he looked around while the others spoke with the Llama.

Before Indy appeared a floating holographic sphere.

"Hello Indy. I am Orias. Miss Rei appears to be hurt quite badly. Please follow the blinking arrows to the infirmary.

Zion teleported, and landed on top of the bound Alitt with a loud whack ing sound. She laid there, then floated above her about four feet.

"Whoops. Sorry. How you feelin? Still evil?"

For perhaps the first time ever Aello couldn't come up with something to say. Taco heartless would be insanely cool, but this... This was a talking llama. And that was the most amazing thing she had ever even heard of. So, very eloquently, she could only say "Woah!" Naturally, after she got over her initial awe her curiosity won out, and the student started bouncing a tiny bit in contained excitement. "Excuse me Mr. Llama. Could you tell me how you can talk?"

Pacha listened quietly as the others introduced themselves and explained their situation. He was clearly very attentive, especially when they asked Pacha if he'd seen any suspicious people. "I'd love to help you out, but we've got our hands full with finding our way to the temple... Of course, afterwards, I'd be happy to help you find these people you're looking for!" He smiled at the students. "Maybe we'll even find these people you're looking for while we're heading to the temple!"

 

The llama, on the other hand, didn't seem quite as eager to help as Pacha did. He didn't listen much, and didn't respond much at all until Lucas decided to pet him. At this point, he jumped back, clearly upset. "Whoa, whoa, no touchy! No touchy!" The llama warned Lucas, angered that the boy even dared to try petting him. "Now, it was nice to meet you all, blah blah, we've got to go find my temple, bye." He was clearly in a hurry to leave, but Pacha stood in the llama's way.

 

"I'm sorry about his behavior. This is Emperor Kuzco, just... in a slightly different shape." Pacha explained. "I'm sure he'll warm up to you all soon... Right, Kuzco?" He glared at the llama as he spoke the last two words, clearly not approving of his behavior.

 

"Yeah, sure whatever. Listen, Pacha. I've got to get to Yzma's lab now, and I don't have time to talk with these people. The sundial is ticking, let's move." The llama tried pushing Pacha ahead, but wasn't making any progress.

 

"We'd be happy if you all accompanied us to the temple, and we'd definitely help you afterwards. We're sorry if this gives you any trouble, though. You don't need to come along if you don't want to." Pacha spoke to Joel and the others, cheerful once again.

 

 

Forward Unto Dawn

 

As Allitt struggled to free herself, someone suddenly fell on her. Despite only being in the position for a very short time, she didn't exactly enjoy being sandwiched between the bed and whoever fell on her. Once the person got up, Allitt realized it was Zion. Her... I should have known she's the one who did this. She managed to remain looking calm. Zion's calm tone and question made Allitt realize something... Heh... I know how I can get out of here. She gave Zion a sad look. "I-I'm not sure how I feel... but I'm sorry for attacking you earlier." She spoke softly. "I... I want to see my brother, and apologize to him, too..." She began crying, though it was just an act. However, it was rather convincing.

 

Mt. Olympus

 

Indy would have appreciated Toshi's offer, although by the time she asked if he needed help, he was already in the ship and couldn't hear her. He was about to go and search the whole ship one room at a time, but the AI quickly offered help. "Th-thanks." He said, and ran in the direction that the arrows pointed him. He eventually reached the infirmary...

As Indy ventured into the ship, Toshi realized that her offer may have fallen on deaf ears. Feeling somewhat deflated, she remembered that was still a mission for her and her classmates to partake in.

 

"Uh, Raidyn?" Toshi asked after the blonde student had already started to go towards Thebes.

 

"Huh? What's up Toshi?" He said, stopping himself.

 

"Well..." Toshi was desperate to make herself feel useful. "I think that... since Indy is going to be healing Rei, that maybe... um..."

 

"Yeah?"

 

"Um... maybe you and I should lead everybody. I mean, Indy was doing good keeping track of everyone, but now that he's not with us right now, there's nobody to do that."

 

"So you're saying you want to be the leader?"

 

"I-I, uh!" Toshi suddenly felt herself shrink. "N-no... I mean, y-yes... what I'm trying to say is that maybe you and I both could do it. T-together."

 

"Oh, I see. Yeah, you're right actually, I think we'd be perfect for the job. I'm sure Indy would put us in charge if he was calling the shots anyway, heh."

 

Toshi nodded in agreemnt, and then Raidyn faced the rest of his group. "Okay guys, I know we're in a bit of pickle now that we're short two people, but we still gotta do what has to be done. As long as we stay in high spirits, we'll be just fine on our own. Now then, as I was previously saying, let's all head out to Thebes!" 

 

"Y-yeah. What Raidyn said. Heh..." Toshi nervously added, trying to be a leader as well.

Saki couldn't believe his own luck. Not only was this guy a talking llama, but he was royalty that was turned into a llama! How cool was that? "Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh Boy!" He jumped up and down once again in excitement. "It's really, really, REALLY an honor to meet you, Mr.Emperor! We would love to help you out to make it to this temple thing!" Saki said, still bouncing around. Lisa giggled at Saki and quickly hugged him once again. "Lisa will help out too, I guess." He strained to say. Once Lisa let go, Saki quickly went to the front of the group, still jumping. "Come on! Come on! Let's go! We're travelling with someone really important!" He said. Saki was just so excited to just go somewhere that includes an adventure!

"Ember," Somrene said gently. Ember still stood in shock, after what had happened. She shivered slightly, and her face was blank. "Ember," Her brother prodded gently. She finally glanced to him. "Go with Raidyn, Toshi, and Nexus to Thebes. I'll stay here. Alright?" He told her the plan simply. She nodded a bit, then gulped and smiled anxiously. 

"Alright." She said, then walked over towards Raidyn and Toshi. Somrene nodded, glad he was able to get her out of her funk, at least a little bit.

"I'm going to stay with Rei and Indy." Somrene announced loudly to the rest of the group. "It would be stupid to leave him alone with enemies that dangerous around. The rest of you go on ahead, we'll be okay." He said, acting as if the decision had already been made. Which of course it had been. This was the most reasonable course of action. They still needed to complete their mission, yes, but leaving only one person to protect the one wounded they had was an idiotic idea with little care for precaution. He refused to go on with it.

She flicked the girl's head. "Yeah not falling for that." She said. "Really, you take me for a fool? I nearly invented that trick!"

 

 

-Rei-

 

Orias sighed. Once Rei was there, arms gently took her from Indy's hands and rested her on the center table, and began to stabalize her with a plethora of medical-like light thingies.

"Beginning cell restoration."
