somedayhunchback 213 Posted August 26, 2015 With Zootopia making it's movie debut in 2016. Do you think it could make a great world for Kingdom Hearts ? 1 KHUndertaleFan25 reacted to this
Exiblade7 1,917 Posted August 26, 2015 Honestly, I don't expect that movie to be in kingdom hearts 3.
WakingDawn96 1,166 Posted August 26, 2015 I dont think Zootopia will be a "world" in KH3, but it could possibly make it as a summon like with Chicken Little! But as for a full world, it doesnt seem likely for KH3, but the next game or the next number title. If any human sized talking animal movie should happen in KH3, it should be Robin Hood! 1 Exiblade7 reacted to this
Knuxpyro56 33 Posted August 26, 2015 I for one do think that Zootopia will show. Reasons: Its in post production and its cross promotion at release (same can be said for Moana). I really dont think we are getting a Robin Hood world. Zootopia actually has the better premise and better conflicts. Its a city based on Habitats. Seeing the footage at D23, There is a lot to take in, You have Deserts, Sahara's, Polar Ice Caps, Rainforests, and an entire District run by tiny animals that reminded me of that Timeless River challenge where you're basically a giant. Seeing an Anthropomorphic Sora while Donald and Goofy kepping the same look. Nomura does see Disney films early to get ideas. If anything you should expect to see Nick and Judy as well as Moana and Maui as summons.

Guest Posted August 27, 2015 As much as I'd love to see Zootopia make it into Kingdom Hearts 3, it can't for two primary reasons. 1) The movie is still in production: it's not entirely finished. If it was then there would be a social media post or news article to confirm this. Square Enix can see theatrical Disney movies before they're theatrically released, however, they can't really use a movie that still has a huge chunk of the movie itself requiring completion. 2) The majority of worlds have already been decided by now. At best, if we see Pixar material then Inside Out would be the latest confirmed Pixar movie whilst Disney is going to stick with Big Hero 6. Anything in this 2015 - 2016 release schedule cannot get a world due to Kingdom Hearts 3 already being really deep in the production process. In support of this post, Zootopia's worlds and characters have already been established. They could just go all Big Hero 6 and set it after the events of the movie. Knuxpyro56 33 Posted August 27, 2015 Disagree with that Statement because remember, Nomura and the KH team are allowed to see films that have not yet been released. Zootopia is very well into heading to post production, as from the footage shown at D23 this past week.

We know that, we're just unaware as to whether Nomura already decided all the worlds before that movie went into post production. I'm all for Zootopia! IwasBornAsVentus 396 Posted August 28, 2015 (edited) I actually think it's enough from here with future Disney films let instead classics like Robin Hood and The Black Cauldron show up. Either Zootopia Nick Wilde & Judy Hopps could 1. appear as summons 2. appear in a future KH title as a world. But I haft to say no here for the future films appearing in Kingdom Hearts 3 there needs to be more forgotten classics as well. However if it happens then I will just go with it. Ephemera 37 Posted August 28, 2015 Still in favor of the original art style KH has grown with and continued to maintain since dream drop distance/re:codedcoded. But since bh6, that's all in the air. Kh 3 might as well reject everything and just go with the heavily westernizes less magical, less fantasy side and stick with zootopia, finding nemo and bolt. Zootopia isn't even out yet, we have barely seen anything from that movie, so it's a bit early to say it's less magical than other Disney movies. You should wait till you've seen more, to make such a decision. Give those movies a chance, you may be surprised how great the worlds based on them will be in Kingdom Hearts (And to say that Finding Nemo has no magic or fantasy: that leaves me speechless. The whole movie is pure magic) 1 IwasBornAsVentus reacted to this
Knuxpyro56 33 Posted August 28, 2015 Thing is you have to look at multiple occasions for a world. Much like Disney Infinity, there goes a selection progress. And while we do know Nomura has personal favorites, and asks the teams to look for ideas that would be unique, you also have to look at it by a business standpoint and how Disney Animation takes it. As in... Does this world not only gather an interest from KH fans, but the general public as well Is it worth advertising scenes of the game with x type of characters from x film. I say that cause Disney Animation has personal thoughts on their own. You can bet we won't see The Black Cauldron because its considered as one of Disney's Worst Films and "That one Disney flick that lost to the CareBears movie". Sometimes films just don't have what its necessary to make it an interesting world. You might see bits and pieces of stuff from films like the Package Era (Saludos Amigos-Ichabod and Mr. Toad). I would love them to see a behind the scenes where they go to Disney Animation and have these meetings. Speaking of Zootopia, (don't read the Power Disc info for Disney Infinity, cause they spoil the ending to the film)

Speaking of Zootopia, (don't read the Power Disc info for Disney Infinity, cause they spoil the ending to the film) This...but Disney xfinity can have any world and it shows it has. But like for me I differentiate Disney xfinity and kingdom hearts. I think a lot of ppl Don't understand my criteria for kh worlds are even bigger than xfinity. Disney can remake a better version of black cauldron, become a success and then make it into infinity. Keep in mind infinity is for the general Disney audience. Kingdom hearts plays a big role with Disney but it's more of Square Enix using Disney than Disney using square enix (up until recently). Zootopia concept just doesn't look like a world worth bringing in when we have many more that actually have real possibilities. And to answer someone else's speechless reaction, finding memo is an underwater world but takes place in a very real setting and animals just talk and have conscience. It is equivalent to Bolt. I don't use just themes such as friendship and all that because all Disney movies focus on something like that.recently heck most animated Theatrical films will have some form of moral. So why use it s a criteria if it makes it in? I use basics: A) does it fit with the overall style of the worlds? B) is it distinguishable from Disney's developments such as Disney infinity? Epic Mickey? C)will It help with overall story?

Knuxpyro56 33 Posted August 28, 2015 (edited) Yeah, i feel that, some films have to work around to get a film into place. But as it showed for the last 7 games now, the worlds feel more like a pit stop to level up and fight the bad guys. Thats really it. Hope KH3 fixes that. Though that being said, we will never see a Black Cauldron remake, since the key animators of that film (Tim Burton, Andreas Deja, Glen Keane, Eric Goldberg, etc) and Disney Animation just don't want to be associated with the film or go back thinking about. But again we don't know what Zootopia has to offer till the entire film releases (though ideas with concept art and scenes that i've already seen, seem to open ideas) and i rather have that over Robin Hood (even though i love the film) Edited August 28, 2015 by Knuxpyro56 1 lehahiah81 reacted to this
Guest Posted August 29, 2015 Zootopia concept just doesn't look like a world worth bringing in when we have many more that actually have real possibilities. Yeah, Zootopia totally has no gameplay or visual possibilities to take advantage of in Kingdom Hearts 3 at all... I say that cause Disney Animation has personal thoughts on their own. Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers was unheard of before it was featured in KH3D.
Knuxpyro56 33 Posted August 29, 2015 But we just count the 3 musketeers as one of Mickey's Many adventures. Kinda to remember the life of Mickey before he became King, as if the convoluted time line isnt convoluted enough
Ephemera 37 Posted August 30, 2015 Yeah, Zootopia totally has no gameplay or visual possibilities to take advantage of in Kingdom Hearts 3 at all... Keep in mind, i was referring strictly gameplay. VIsuals? Any movie with the Disney label can be included just for the "visuals".
