Saber Lily 1,543 Posted August 25, 2015 (edited) Celestial Realm Dawn's Palace Dawn's Palace Dawn's Palace is part of the Celestial Realms, a dimension of the Universe that is apart but parallel to the Realms of Light, Darkness, Sleep, etc. Dawn's Palace had fallen into obscurity after the loss of the previous Deity of Light almost a millenia ago. it's halls and shores barren and unkept, the water stagnant, it was a dead realm where Light no longer thrived.Then came Ascension.Through the careful planning of Oriana, a being created from the darkness in Zion de Wynter's heart, then purified by the Goddess of Chaos, Etro. Oriana then gathered up a mass of people, after her timely death, Oriana set in motion a very stringent and interesting sequence of events that culminated in Zion dying in defense of others. Walking through her Station of Awakening, meeting and talking with many of the people she met and bonded with, her final stop was someone, at the time, she thought gone - Xion, her beloved partner and lover. Embracing the finality of their deaths, Oriana had the last piece of her complex puzzle - and thus, Zion Ascended.Zion became the Goddess of Light, and entered Dawn's Palace to find the Sovereign of Deities, Head of what she now knows as the Council of Deities, welcoming her to the Realm she would preside over. But at a price. This ascension meant that she'd have to undergo trials and tribulation, if she were to continue to pass between Dawn's Palace and the Realm of Light. She took it, and while reunited with Xion, that was a finite time.But that's a story for Zion to tell.Dawn's Palace is a sprawling megacastle atop a mountain that juts from a lake. Dubbing the nameless lake Memoria, Zion brought the Palace back to it's former glory, and reinstated the old God's Valkyries of Dawn by recruiting some of her greatest allies throughout the years. They reside in Daybreak Hall on the North side of the Castle, closest to the whitest sandy beach the island holds. The North Hall also houses the Armory, where all manner of weapons are kept, so in case of emergency one could find exactly what they need without trying to get home and then to the danger zone.To the East lays the Gateways to the Worlds beyond, such as the Gate to Arundel, where Sarah Aether resides, to Zion's hometown of Twilight Town. There are seven Gates of Eternal Dawn in the East Hall, covering an entire wall. Opposite this wall lay chairs, tables, couches, and a few beds, so those who visit can literally walk in and collapse for a nap, if they are tired as such.The West Wing houses the main dining halls and guest quarters, each of them massive and able to mold to the occupant's personal tastes (For example, if Cody the Cookie Cutter Super Soldier visited, he'd have a room filled with Kairi related stuff, paopu fruits, and an assortment of guns). Also housed is a heated indoor swimming center, with a view of the lake and the surrounding countryside.The South Wing holds the motor pool, stables, a small indoor landing pad for transdimensional spacecraft, and secondary living quarters, if the West Wing were to ever be completely full (or if one prefers to sleep near horses/their means of transportation). While not as sprawling as the rest of the complex, the South Wing works fine for what Zion feels is needed.In the Center is lies the Throne Room (or Great Hall), libraries, Communication Rooms, another, smaller Armory, and the upper floors belong to Zion exclusively. They are her domain, and are filled with clothes, toys, an Avalon M1 Armathia Main Battle Tank, and her other, special rooms. Zion's own room is covered in pictures of all her friends and family, as well as decorated with trophies from victories - from the old Bow of Lara Croft, the Keychain of a Keyblade Wielder who tried to overthrow the Gummiverse, as well as Sarah Aether's old, destroyed Raptor assault rifle. She also has on the ceiling replicas of her closest friends' weapons, created through her Divine Power and used through the power of her Gate of Divine Connection.The Palace is not solely above ground - an extensive underground complex houses her own personal battlegroup of ships. She of course has her personal warship, given to her by her mother, Kelsi of the Snow - the formidable Forward Unto Dawn, a vessel that has faced everything from Heartless fleets to even a weaponized world. It takes up most of the underground complex, leaving little room for anything else.What room is left holds one carrier, two destroyers, and four frigates - the carrier All Under Heaven, the destroyers Dawn Under Heaven and Daybreak Under Heaven, then the frigates Stalwart Dawn, Vigilant Dawn, Eternal Dawn, and Requiem Dawn. This small battlegroup is what ZIon was allowed by the Council of Deities to own and field using her Valkyries. She rarely touches them though, moreso using the threat of summoning an extradimensional battlegroup of god-made warships as her way of warfare - once they learn they are powered by her own godly power, people tend to chill.Outside of the titular Dawn's Palace, the Realm is sprawling with meadows, forests, and waterfalls. With lush valleys and canyons, those who can fly can spend days just enjoying the flights one can have around the world, and those who can't can still enjoy it by borrowing any one of Zion's many aircraft. It's a world untouched by warfare or strife, and beyond the times when Zion is asleep, the world remains in perfect light - perfect temperature, perfect lighting. It is a world that the Light will always remain master of, and a beacon of hope for those who cannot find balance.Note: The Roster for the Valkyries of Dawn will vary depending on the RP and what each member will be doing in that RP - Example: Lightning leads the Valkyries, but if say, one RP has her as a character her spot will be filled by someone else. Built from the raw materials of Arundel's own resources, as well as the resources of nearbye uninhabitable planets, Arundel's stood for millenia as the Protectors of the Galaxy. Fielding a continuously advancing fleet of warships, every one built stronger than the last, Arundel's Peacekeeping Force, the Avalon Defense Initiative, was put to the ultimate test during the Second Keyblade War that Sora fought in. In a constant, unending, and bloody conflict known only as the Siege, the Avalon Defense Initiative was trapped on their world...but the Siege did not begin on the first day. No, the Siege came two days after the Heartless found them.Two days after the Massacre.July 31st, Heartless mounted a full on invasion of the Capital City of Pendragon. Appearing everywhere and attacking without a single moments' warning, before ADI could mount a counteroffensive...before anyone could truly react...Pendragon's population of three million people...became two million.One million lives were lost July 31st. Known as the Massacre of Pendragon, this kicked off the fastest Heartless Planetary Defense Grid ever constructed - placed around the world, a network of detectors, warships, and drones would find any attempt at portaling into Arundel's atmosphere, lock on, and summarily annihilate the target. Point of Interest: At the center of Arundel is what the inhabitants call the Forge. Here, resources for any needed project, from building a ship to making a chair, appear. No one quite understands the Forge or who created it, but this divine instrument has provided the world of Arundel with the means to never be lacking in ships - the Forge is the only reason why the Siege lasted more then four months, and the Forge remains Arundel's closest guarded secret. Galahad, the Heart of Arundel The Personification of Arundel's World Heart, Galahad is a Great Knight in appearance with a massive greatsword and a shield that could be even more powerful than Zion's Tsukuyomi Unit. He has not entered battle, as not only is he the Heart of a World, and his loss would spell the destruction of Arundel. But also, as it is proven that weaponizing a heart can cause such devastation (See - Nocturnal Guardian Zero-Four "Cody" or "Waffles" during Battle of Radiant Garden, shortly before the Four Horsemen Conflict) but this will deteriorate the heart quickly, and if not ended within mere minutes, can destroy a heart. Thanks to ADI, the Four Horsemen, and the determination of the people, Galahad has not needed to draw his blade. Merely his appointments and backing have proven enough to defend Arundel, and beyond that, other worlds. It was rumored that, when the worlds were one, that Galahad was close to the World Heart of Khione, Chione. Ever since Khione fell into the darkness, it is believed that the galvanization of Arundel's military and it's mission - to Protect the Light - is Galahad influencing his world, to become what had been lost. Nearly translucent beings of living ice, The Snow are nearly immortal to time itself, living longer than any other humanoid species not aided by magic or borderline fratricidal psychopathic entities. The Snow are a harmonious race who believe in peace, and as such only created vessels to explore and learn more of the galaxy beyond their frozen world...but in their exploration, these pacifists learned that evil does not stop when one is unarmed. No, after the loss of three exploration ships to evils unknown, the Snow, unlike many who would stick to pacifism even under the threat of utter annihilation, decided that survival overtook their long-held beliefs.So, the Snow armed their ships, turning them from ships of exploration to one of the most impressive armed fleets of it's time, a fleet only dwarfed by the Avalon Defense Initiative decades later. With this fleet they again began their explorations, until the Heartless came. A monstrous enemy unlike anything The Snow had ever seen, they were overwhelmed over time, driven back to Khione and her frozen embrace. Their homeworld managed to stave off the Heartless for many a month, but soon they adapted...but the initial failure gave the Snow enough time to formulate a plan.Loading the Paragons of their race onboard their newest, most advanced vessels, the Snow sent them into the deepest corners of the galaxy, hiding away what little remained before utter annihilation.And so...with their future secured in the Seven, the Snow turned to face their foe head on, brandishing every weapon they had - from their own innate control of ice, to weapons formed by their own design, the Snow fought the Heartless to the last being...and then, as the last Snow perished on the frozen wasteland of Khione, the Keyhole was left to the Heartless.Khione was torn asunder, destroyed, gone...forever. And for the only Snow to be found, Kehlsi, she was left utterly alone, in a universe that had long forgotten what they once were.Major Cities:-Taiga (Capital)-Stella-Maris (Spaceport)-Orion (Major trade hub)-Iclyn (Biggest city) Chione, the Heart of Khione (Chi-On and Key-on) The personification of the world Khione, Chione, before all the worlds split, was closest to Galahad. She was his princess, and Galahad her Knight in Shining Armor. They spent so much time together, and while apart they were saddened greatly. Since Khione's destruction, Galahad himself has been withdrawn. Those who journey to find the legendary Knight for guidance are met with short replies, and a coldness. Her loss has been a great blow to the Light, and she is one of Zion's top priorities - to reclaim the Heart of Khione, and bring back the age of The Snow. At first just a small flotilla of peacekeeping vessels, as the world grew and expanded, they realized that many things were changing. With the onset of dangerous beasts coming and going, the inhabitants of Arundel decided to take the first step. From this mentality Avalon was born, forged by the entire world into something that would last for eternity.At first only one fleet, the Avalon Defense Force soon swelled to seven full fleets within fifty years. And it only grew, as the world continually produced new resources from the Forge. This is how Avalon not only defended itself, but neighboring worlds from pirates, brigands. Blackguards and of course, monsters. There were no shortage of such evil beings wishing harm, and Avalon dedicated itself to protecting what Light remained in the universe. They were the vanguard, the wall, and the last line of defense. For most Avalon positions one does not need much, but Avalon only puts the best on their bridges and in their cockpits. It is the fact they only push everyone to break their limits and go beyond, that allows ADI to be so successful.In it's long, illustrious history though, few names truly shine. For these few families, their lineage is so sacred, that to spill the blood of one of these finest families is a travesty upon Arundel itself...for these families have fought since Arundel came into being, to keep the world going. To keep the world they call home, safe. Many of these fine families nearly perished during the Siege, and some...have ended, forever.The CathedralKnown as the Cathedral, this massive building lays at the center of the Capital City of Pendragon. At Cathedral, the Families gather with the President and his Council and Parliament to discuss the next direction for Arundel, Avalon, and the universe. The 13th exists as a record, as most of the ships that came with Zion, Soren, and the First and Seventh Fleets.Further:During Breakthrough Operation Zero-One, while Romulus Fletcher of the Euclid's Anvil managed to save Dawn's Ascent, it was only a small part; history will forever remember that the Tenth Fleet, Hollowed Peace, was completely wiped out in Breakthrough Operation Zero-One. The CO was Brandon Falchion, and he and his entire lineage died that day. And while the Tenth Fleet was never reformed, all the scrap that belonged the Hollowed Peace was carefully recovered and put into a new ship - ADI Remember the Lost. This vessel is made from not only the remaining scrap of the Tenth, but form parts of every vessel destroyed. Somehow they managed it, and this hallowed vessel is docked in the Pendragon Drydocks permanently, as a way of remembering the tragedy that came upon Arundel. Based onboard the massive Snow Dreadnought Forward Unto Dawn, the Four Horsemen were chosen by the Heart of Arundel, the Personification of Arundel's World Heart, to break the Siege and save Arundel, and allow ADI to break out and resume their main mission - Protect the Light. Set around a forest spring, the aptly named Summoner's Spring is home to mages who are skilled in the art of summons. From familiars to summoned swords to staffs, to angels, to lesbian goddesses of light, these Summoners are few in number but highly skilled and powerful. They are a neutral place in world affairs, but holds strong ties to the world of Arundel. The world lost much power when Azazel, God of Death, toppled the old God of Light, Velicus during the Winter Solstice. This betrayl left Summoner's Spring vulnerable for many years, and was forced to reach out to Arundel and it's military might to defend it. But Azazel had it out for Summoner's Spring and their dedication to the God of Light, and when the Heartless laid siege to Arundel, this world was left completely undefended. This nearly spelled the world's doom, if not for the timely intervention by Soren de Wynter and the battleship Seraphim, Summoner's Spring could have been lost. Always set in temperate summer with a lovely breeze, the world has a few strange customs, mostly that most of the Summoners don't wear regular clothing. Their type of magic is hindered by most forms of coverings, so they make sure their bodies are as unclothed as they can to allow their magic to go the fullest. Notable Settlements: Chancel Snowcover Village (Only place to find snow) Lakeview Notable People: Sakurako Nagase - A powerful yet young summoner, the girl is naive but extremely innocent. Lifeforce Fox The world of Summoner's Spring is the only place beyond the de Wynter Mansion to be home to the mysterious Lifeforce Foxes. They are called the Lifeforce Foxes due to their ability to give lifeforce. Yes, I stated the obvious...but there is a catch. Lifeforce Foxes can only do this once, as they use their own existence to save someone's life. They take each case extremely differently, though if they find that the person is just...they gladly give themselves up. The most powerful are the White Foxes, while Green are most common. I was born in Twilight Town. Weapons:I wield many Keyblades actually. My main one is Forward Unto Dawn, Radiance Unleashed Mode (now standard mode). It is a double-ended Keyblade. It is essentially two oathkeeper keyblades connected at the hilts to form my weapons. Half of it was once shadow, but in Oriana's sacrifice, Shadow became Redemption. Oathkeeper's Redemption is the colors of sunrise, going well is Dawn's whites and golds. My second Keyblade is Sunrise Everlasting, the combination of the twin Keyblades Blazing Midday and Receding Midnight. Both look like a color swapped Oblivion, with Blazing Midday being reds and oranges while Receding Midnight is these midnight blues and dark reds. Combat Style:My combat style is pretty much brute force. I unleash powerful assault abilites and engage ferociously with my Keyblades, mostly held telekinetically. I am versatile in fighting, with my signature ability Albion Strike, where my golden wings (which allow flight) fire numerable bolts of light. My secondary signature ability is Dual Salvation Raid, where I throw Forward Unto Dawn and Sunrise Everlasting at my target when they are covered in light. They unleash the powerful Command Spell Salvation upon impact. If you must know, I absolutely love stealing Birdramon's attack and I unleash Firaga Wing, where my wings glow sunset orange and I fire a bunch of Firaga balsts! And these are just a few of the many attacks I have.Yes, I'm a powerful girl. But with great power comes great drawbacks. I might be able to use my power efficiently due to years of use and training, but I don't have infinite power. No, I will grow weary after prolonged use, especially when I engaged Radiance Unleash - Dawn's Gospel, and use Sunrise, my ultimate ability. Activating Dawn's Gospel, my golden Keyblade Armor of Light, is very hard anyways - always has been. It's my heart's way of ensuring I don't weaponize my very heart by accident and kill myself like a CERTAIN COOKIE CUTTER SUPER SOLDIER. Once my power runs out, which can happen in maybe half an hour to one hour, depending on how I pace myself. Recharging...it can take days.With Xion or Luna in bed with me? Hour, couple hours.I'm also not very durable. Yes I have armor, and a few different armor variations, but each sacrifices. Dawn's Gospel sacrifices speed; Aether Wing sacrifices durability for speed, etc. I havent gotten any new armor yet, but hey. Time will tell.So yeah. I'm squishy, and I'm also not able to prolong fights...but I'm hot. So there.But in the event that even Dawn's Gospel is unable to stand against my foe, I can unlock the Limiter on my heart. I can pull a cookie cutter super solider and weaponize my heart. The only problem is either Xion or Luna kiss me...and by that, I mean she has to want to Limiter off.
