Kingdom Hearts 3 In-Game Menu Concept

Hey KH13 Forum!  :biggrin:

Just thought I share something with you folks!

I recently brought out my own Concept on a KH3 Pause screen menu.

Please keep in mind this is only a "CONCEPT". I do realize that you cannot pause in Battle but due to the fact that the

only footage we have right now is "Combat/Battle" footage I went ahead and used it.

Also in the final game there will of course be walking sprites in the menus instead of static ones.

This is only my "Basic" concept on a design :biggrin:

Indeed, I looked into using that but that segment was so short. I needed at least 2 seconds of uncut gameplay  :smile:

Man Donald is screwed for levels lol, he's way behind everyone else.

 

Otherwise, it looks good. It's very clean cut, which seems to be the way the HUD looks for this game so far anyway.

It looks pretty awesome! I especially like the colors of the status summaries below the character portraits, it really sticks out to me. Keep up the good work man, you did a great job!

No problem man! The only thing I would add is maybe a Config or Game Help option, otherwise it's pretty solid!

Could stand to be a tiny bit more complex but, you worked with what you had, you're no magician or KH Game Dev.

He worked hard certainly but IMO most of his videos are just clickbait videos and people fall hard for them really well. I don't want to go in depth here nor do I want to bash GamersJoint in his own thread so I'll just stop talking now.

Looks spectacular! I really appreciate all this content you push out for the community. I love the feature that it tells you how many friends are online and that it has an objective listed below.

Wow, this looks really believable: and welcome to the KH13 forum Cynical.

 

Anyway, as a means of constructive criticism, in Kingdom Hearts 2: the command menu was themed to the world and I believe that they'd do that with the menu for Kingdom Hearts 3. So in this case, the menu would have the aesthetic that makes it look like it was ripped out from Hercules. This is just nitpicking though, fantastic job regardless.
