Forever 3,550 Posted August 21, 2015 I always liked to imagine that the universe of Kingdom Hearts is like some parallel dimension for the FF characters. For example, some kind of alternate dimension where certain events never happened due to certain choices not being made. For example: in FF's original reality, Aerith is killed by Sephiroth, but in the reality of KH she's still alive due to some kind of alternate happenstance. Maybe that would even explain why in KH2, Cloud just kinda stops and stares at her for an odd moment, because he knows that she's not the Aerith from his own time/ reality point. With this odd idea in mind, Zack could still be alive, or at least an alternate, Kingdom Heart's universe version of him! Ow, my head hurts... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Ow, my head hurts...The simple answer for alternate dimension is more on what happens when they don't have the same origin because they are in a completely different setting. Yes, it's a cameo.
