What do YOU expect to see at D23 Japan?

Given that D23 Japan is over two months away and a trailer has been confirmed. What do YOU expect to see?

 

Personally, I expect a trailer on DDD HD as according to khinsider, (http://www.khinsider.com/news/More-Details-about-Kingdom-Hearts-Premium-Theater-at-D23-Japan-Revealed-5906) a trailer is confirmed to be on the Kingdom Hearts SERIES.

 

Furthermore, a release window is entirely possible as is a Frozen world announcement/trailer.

 

Seeing as this event is dedicated to Kingdom Hearts, we can certainly expect a cluster of new information. So what do you expect to see? Are you thinking cautiously now due to D23 Anaheim?

I don't really think DDD HD is happening for the moment, although I'd like it, actually. Maybe in a future, something like ReMIX 3.5.

I do hope for Treasure Planet, some new gameplay footage with confirmation on whether the drive forms will be a thing...

Well, in the past two events (E3 and D23 Anaheim), two worlds were revealed that were both directed, correct me if I'm wrong on the 'directed' part please, by Roy 'Xehanort' Conli. There's a high chance that they reveal a Treasure Planet world as it was also directed by Roy 'Xehanort' Conli. It's also possible that they reveal a Frozen world, even though it's probably gonna be in Kingdom Hearts 3 seeing how EXTREMELY popular and successful this movie was.

 

Now do I expect a trailer? I'm fifty-fifty on this one.  :unsure: It's not out of the realm of possibility for another trailer to be shown for Kingdom Hearts 3, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up too much. They said they'll release another video, but it's possible that it's just another video with Roy 'Xehanort' Conli talking on the next world reveal. But hey, I'm ready for anything that Nomura has got up his sleeves.

 

Now besides Kingdom Hearts 3, I'm expecting a teaser or a trailer for an HD remake for Dream Drop Distance. However, I do think that they'll most likely release something like this for TGS rather than D23.

 

It's also possible that they give us either a release year or the release date. Yes, they said they have a date in mind, but if I were them, I'd give the year just to be safe cause who knows, they might change the date for some reason.

That At D23 Expo Japan, there will be a special event dedicated to Kingdom Hearts.

The main event will have a talk show prepared to talk about the most recent trailer of the Kingdom Hearts series.

They will talk about their emotions and reactions toward Kingdom Hearts and we hope this event will be a special personal experience for Kingdom Hearts fans.

After the main event, pictures and videos can be taken inside the assembly hall. It is possible for to attend the event dressed as Kingdom Hearts series characters. Please read the guidelines for doing so.

We'll probably get a world trailer so then that would have been three world reveals this year. Hopefully we'll get a look at some of the other characters but who knows, they might save that kind of reveal until last.

 

I really don't think a release date would be announced at D23, especially not at this time. Maybe next year we might get more details on that and it'll probably be announced at a bigger event.

for 1.5 hours this whole thing will have new stuff i could see utada there she good friends with nomura. i could see kairi,sora,riku and maybe roxas voice actors there showing up there new costumes. i could see them reveal two worlds one new and one old world or two new worlds plus a trailer with a old world and i think we might get a release year there

People, mainly gamers, cosplayers and some weeaboos.

To be honest, I don't care about a release date at this point. While they have decided on some sort of date or release window already, it would only be a major disappointment if, because of certain circumstances, they have to postpone the game. It is quite obvious that a lot can happen, considering how many games of other franchises had to be delayed due to a variety of reasons. And Kingdom Hearts 3 is nowhere near completed.

The last thing I want is to get hyped for a game and then they go "Sorry, but we cannot adhere to it." For now, I would be happy to see some new footage of any kind, if only to see they're making decent progress. Personally, I expect another world reveal, since, as we have seen, they can do it without showing an actual trailer. ^^' Additionally, they announced that there would be more worlds than in the other games, so that still leaves a lot of room for further information. But I do expect more to be shown because there will be a special event taking place and they announced beforehand that they will provide more info during the D23 in Japan. As far as I was concerned, their presence at the D23 in Anaheim came as a surprise.

I don't really EXPECT anything anymore because I feel like strong expectations lead to disappointment. I make some guesses here and there, but I've been proven wrong for years so lol. 

 

What I hope to see is Kairi and Riku's new outfits and a trailer with more plot in it surrounding the trio from Destiny Islands.

 

I know we'll see a video of some kind because of the information on the website/the fact that the event is called Kingdom Hearts Premium Theater. But as to the content of that video, we'll have to find out.
