The Kingdom Panel 424 Posted August 18, 2015 I feel like I'm missing out on a lot and I know it's hugely important towards the storyline, I think I'm gonna buy a 3DS and play it myself though instead of looking up cutscenes for it for a better experience personally :)Anyone else feel this way? 2 Riosephmido and nonicepifz72 reacted to this
Ninkoro 123 Posted August 18, 2015 It's kinda funny, because the most understanding of the plot of DDD that you'll do is thinking about it outside of the game itself. 1 Kittenz reacted to this
Yuya Sakaki 5,212 Posted August 18, 2015 *raises hand* I haven't played it, but I know what happens in terms of story. Peace!
Jake 1,488 Posted August 18, 2015 I got it the day it came out throughout the NA and finished it in a week.
Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted August 18, 2015 I played if as soon as it came out. I think you should watch a Let's Play on it. Me personally, I liked DDD but the story left a bad taste in my mouth. I dunno, I like the game and the story but it just didn't feel like fitting to the Kingdom Hearts storyline. 3 Mystics Apprentice, Ephemera and AlixtheMagi13 reacted to this
Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted August 18, 2015 I got it for my birthday. Beat it in as month. Still don't know 90% of what it was about, I just liked the game play.
Revolart 431 Posted August 18, 2015 haven't played it . Just watched the cut scene and spoiled myself. I'm not gonna get a 3DS, saving my money for a PS4 in the future.
Headphone Jack 1,147 Posted August 18, 2015 idk if you should even play it. for me it left a large stain on the franchise (which is surprising considering some of the games that came before it). The story is too nonsensical to let slide and the combat is broken with enemies breaking your combos and wrecking you with annoying status effects or their own combos. also Balloon magic is OP 2 Mystics Apprentice and PillowHead reacted to this
rikunobodyxiii 700 Posted August 18, 2015 I have not played it, though I have watched all the cutscenes. Not in any hurry to get it.

Gameplay wise, it's just not worth it. Story wise it's absolute garbage (to me, at least). Consider saving up for something more worthwhile. You know, like Dark Souls 3. Kaweebo 3,617 Posted August 18, 2015 I finally managed to play it at the start of the year. It's definitely a game you should play and just not read about online, or even just watch cutscenes of.
2 quid is good 2,209 Posted August 18, 2015 I have also not played it but I do know what happens.
Felixx 6,646 Posted August 18, 2015 If you wanna play KH3, you should know what's going on in Dream Drop Distance. If you play it or watch the cutscenes is your decision. I love the game, story and gameplay wise, so I would recommend you to play it
Psychic_Ketchup 367 Posted August 18, 2015 You can get by with just watching the cutscenes, but I really liked the gameplay. Your movements are so fluid, and the worlds are fairly large, though quite empty as well. All I can say is, I got my 3DS specifically for DDD, and I don't regret getting it. Kid Ryan 26 Posted August 19, 2015 I haven't played Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance yet, but that's because I'm waiting for the HD Remaster to be released.
Gwynbleidd 551 Posted August 22, 2015 Waiting for that HD remaster to happen. Otherwise, I'll resort to watching cutscenes.

EricBwn 86 Posted August 22, 2015 Watched the cutscenes online, not wasting money on a handheld.
KHUndertaleFan25 2,858 Posted August 22, 2015 (edited) I played it on my 13th birthday. Even though i watched the cutscenes in Japanese. I watched Cyberman65's playthrough. Edited August 22, 2015 by PrincessHearts25
sora473 36 Posted August 23, 2015 people say playing the game is better but I watched all the cutsenes and it was just like playing it and you dont die and dont know what you have to do.
Anti-SOLDIER 68 Posted August 23, 2015 I haven't played it yet. I was hoping for a HD remix to be announced this year but it never did. I plan to get it soon since I really want to see Neku and the gang again. I'm surprised how good I've been staying away from 3D spoilers except for a few.
Guest Posted August 26, 2015 It was the very first Kingdom Hearts game I personally played.
