https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brCZnCJR_x8I guess the title is a bit incorrect as I wasn't too bothered about it, but the video speaks for all of the people who were let down at D23But it also showcases everything else that happened beforehandPart of me wants to say "BIG HERO 6? AWESOME!" and another part wants to say "No more??", although I'm mostly for the latter, the Big Hero 6 world was a cool announcement :)Don't get me wrong - Big Hero 6 being announced is cool but the way the event was hyped up seemed as though there would be more to it, in my opinion anyway

Well, given that Nomura himself said we should expect more news by November at D23 Japan,

and assuming we might get something at TGS next month (just assumption. I don't actually think it's gonna happen),

I'd say we're way ok with this announcement. [/Personal Opinion, haha]

Did Square ever promise that there would be news at D23?

Also, Big Hero 6? Seriously? I can see how Tangled and Frozen easily would fit into Kingdom Hearts, but Big Hero 6? Didn't like the movie so not happy about it but it could be cool.

This is wonderful news!  Considering that most of us believed that any info wouldn't be released until D23 in November I am wholly satisfied with this.I wasn't expecting much more than a world announcement anyway.

I didn't expect that much to be shown anyways unlike most people on YouTube who thought that Square was gonna give us a release date lol. Don't expect anything gameplay wise or significant to be shown until E3 2016. D23 Japan will probably unveil Frozen as a world and thats it

Well, it's not like Nomura was really hyping up D23 America that much, so I guess we're really lucky to have gotten anything at all. Still, a world confirmation alone is decent enough I suppose. If KH3 has any presence at TGS next month, I would guess it might be similar to today and we'll get another world confirmation, possibly additional footage like a new trailer or other info, but that might be pushing it. It sounds like the one fact that will stay true is that we will have A TON of new info to look forward to at D23 Japan in November, that's what Nomura has been hinting at the most for a while, so I bet they're just saving their big guns for that, just to get that always delicious end-of-the-year-why-can't-I-have-it-for-Christmas-now-my-poor-heart hype. Then we'll likely have a 2016 where they are allowed to reveal more to us, so where ever KH3 is showcased next year, they'll likely be able to reveal a lot more to us at a time. Until then we just have to get through the rest of the painful first year of public existence.

After reading that it'll be set after the movie and seeing the poster I'm a little more hopeful. Looks cool.

I liked that movie a lot actually, but to each their own. If nothing else though, it is a pretty cool and creative setting to work with, and I always thought that it would make for a great city-themed level for Sora to go through. If you compare it to how if any other Marvel movie were featured it would likely have to be modern day New York, a futuristic San Fransokyo sounds a lot more creative and fantastic enough to fit in with the KH universe. I mean, we had Tron and TRON LEGACY which both stand out from traditional fantasy worlds we're used to, so if anything this just shows that nothing is beyond the realm of possibility in KH. That and I honestly think that it's the only Marvel/Disney collaboration that could work out and fit in with Kingdom Hearts (well, currently anyway). If we manage to get some other fan favorites in the mix like Atlantis, Treasure Planet, and Frozen, we would have quite the most varied set of worlds ever seen so far (Greek temples and mountains, the Atlantic ocean and a lost civilization, the vastness of space and a mysterious and dangerous planet, a snowy valley and mountain with bizarre ice formations, a futuristic hybrid city with gravity defying technology, and an enchanted kingdom with the typical forests, towers, and mountains we're all in love with). I look forward to future announcements and hope at least some of my favorites listed above get featured...particularly Atlantis and Treasure Planet.

They were announcing and advertising all these disney films so I expected something more than just one world announced. I would of been happy if they announced to more. Woke up earlier just for this. Laaaaaaaaaame
