He only has two themes. The one that plays during every battle with him and the one that play during your last battle with him.

Would someone please mail a box of laxatives to Willa Holland? Seriously, in most of her lines so far, she sounds constipated. It's annoying.

 

Riku's seems kind of meh. The voice seems familiar but I can't quite put my finger on it.

 

I want to hear Kairi's Grandma already. I'm hoping for her to be voiced by Benita Moreno 'cause that'd kick ass.

 

 

Also, what was with the music that replaces SaC? Is it not being used in the American release?

Rikus okay, hey me and Rho actully agree on something. Aqua voice actress Willa Holland is still horrible!

 

Ven: by now you all know how I feel and I still want to kick that dirt bags face! TERRIBLE!

 

Terra: EPIC, i mena come on we have to know who his vocie is by now. begians with angery person ends with Oscar.

 

 

Bret Iwan: Um....not good, yet not bad, deffantly not okay. semi-passible for sure. he has no spirt, I still knwo peopel who can do way better and carry on wayne Allwines legacy.

Terra: Alright. Did good at the end, but it still needs to be deeper.

Aqua: Good. She sounded alright all the way through.

Ven: Perfect. No other comments.

Vanitas: Don't like how his name's pronounced, but his voice is epic. His laugh was perfect.

Eraqus: Great. It fits him pretty well.

Xehanort: Great. Sounds like an old man who's yearning to be young again.

 

Also, Mickey sounded fine, but Corey Burton playing Ansem was a complete downer. I was like F***! As long as he makes his scene as emotional and deep as the Japanese version, I'll be fine, though.

Now that we have seen the GamesCom trailler, heres my opinion on things

Aqua: At the E3 trailler, I commented that she had no emotion in her voice, no emphasis on her voice what so ever and I commented that Alyson Stoner would've done a trillion times better than her (even though that there was no way possible that could've happen) now heres my opinion, at some parts she was pretty good at and some parts she epicly failed at like the date thing with Zack -.-' I would still prefer Alyson Stoner)

Ven: At the E3 trailler, I said that he was good. My comment about Ven is exactly the same just good. And for Jesse McCarthney, the word "good" isn't good enough, he did WAY better as Roxas then Ven. But in someways, Jesse was doing better as Ven for example when he said "My friend's are my powers, and I'm theirs!" And at some points, he did WAY better as Roxas.

Terra: At the E3 trailler, I said that he was doing just "ok" and I also wanted his voice to be more deeper. Well, my point still stands. His voice I think still needs to be more deeper. BUT, he did AWESOME in the GamesCom trailler, especially at the end. Like Ven and Aqua, I'm anticipating that his voice will go from really awesome to just ok.

Master Xehanort: At the E3 trailler, I said that Lenoard Nimmoy was doing a horrible job as acting for Master Xehanort and I also said that I wished that Nomura wouldn't have chosen Nimmoy. Now, I have eaten my words. When I saw the GamesCom trailler, I watched all the Master Xehanort parts and I thought that Nimmoy nailed them perfectly.

Master Eraqus: At the E3 trailler, I said that I didn't like Master Eraqus' voice. I guess it'll take some getting used to.

Vanitas: At the E3 trailler, I said that Haley did awesome. And I am going to say this once again, Haley did awesome at voicing Vanitas. Vanitas' laugh was perfectly epic. Haley was the only one that lived up to my expectations.

Aqua- Let's just face it, she is not good at all. I could think of at least 5 different people that could've VA over "Willa". Did you hear her in that scene "Give me my friends heart?". She sounded so weak and un-intimidating it was hilarious.

 

Ven- Awesome job, Jesse McCarthney.

 

Terra- Meh. He sounds like a wuss in some cutscenes, but overall, he did okay.

 

Vanitas- PWN!

 

Master Xehanort- -_- don't even get me started.

 

Eraqus- Meeehhhhhhh. Pat Morita should have voiced him.

Lol, so I'm reading through the VA threads, and it's like whoa, total opposite from the Gamespot forums. Everyone over there loves Aqua, but hates Terra. Here it's the opposite, for the most part.

 

Seems like the main criticism for Terra is his first line in the Gamescom trailer for being "too young". Ironic considering

I could leave my opinions, but it feels like I'm in the minority here, so I'm not going to bother. I'll be over there in my little corner enjoying all of the VAs. -puts up 'Do Not Disturb' sign-

I like the VA's *prepares for flame wars*. Main reason is I find that everyone says different people should've voiced them for whatever possible reason(IE: hatred of VA, no emotion, no "spirit" which is better translated as you like the old VA better because he has been there since the beginning. etc.). Think about it this way; if Disney and Square Enix thought the VA's were bad, do you really think they'd still be involved here. There is a reason that the VA's were chosen for their roles. Perhaps they were chosen because the ones working on the game, not you, saw the potential they had and decided that is what they were going for. Since I fail at explaining my point, I'll try this approach;

 

I want one of you to give me a VA that you do not like, tell me who he/she is voicing, and tell me who you would replace it with. I'll carry on my argument from there.

I'm honostly tired of all the whinny crybabies complaining about the VA's, it's not going to magically change the VA's to someone else; so there's really no point in getting butthurt over it. But I notice most of the complaints come from those who watched the Japanese scenes first, so OF COURSE you'll think the English ones sound wonky. I remember after playing through KH II, I watched some of the Japanese cutscenes, and I thought Sora and Roxas sounded really weird. It just gets some getting used to! And besides, if you hate the English one so damned much; oh I dunno~ DON'T PLAY IT. That simple. =P
