I don't know what voice you were listening to but that was definitely Christopher Lee's voice. But in a way you're right, the depth and loudness of his voice was, for lack of a better term, soft. I think old age has finally caught up to him.

And I don't know what trailer YOU were listening to. That wasn't Chris Lee. That was Corey Burton. He's Chris's stand-in. He played Ansem in Re:CoM as well. Chris played Ansem in II and Days.

He only has two themes. The one that plays during every battle with him and the one that play during your last battle with him.
