Enix 995 Posted August 13, 2015 I'm trying to level limit form to obtain dodge roll. Is there anyway to gain exp for the form?
Yuya Sakaki 5,212 Posted August 13, 2015 Limit Form gains 1 EXP for everytime you use a Limit command finisher. What you do is you go the Treasure Room in Agrabah and inside will be a Mushroom XIII challenge. Now make sure you have Oathkeeper equipped and go into Limit Form then initiate the challenge. Dodge Roll back near the exit and spam Sonic Rave until your MP runs out. Once that happens exit the room and touch the save point to restore your MP, then return inside and repeat this until your Form Guage is running low and exit the world and return to restore your Drive. Rinse and repeat. Hope this helped and have fun. Peace! 4 The 13th Kenpachi, Enix, Felicia Novita and 1 other reacted to this
Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted August 13, 2015 It should say in the status menu, but basically you have to complete successful limits in order to gain experience. For example, by performing Sonic Rave you have to input all seven reaction commands to perform the whole attack, and by successfully doing this it will count towards 1 experience point. This applies to the other limits, Strike Raid, Ars Arcanum, and Ragnarok. Ragnarok is unique however in that there are four ways to finish the attack, but I believe only one of those ways actually counts towards 1 point. If you hit the reaction command as soon as Sora finishes striking you will only release a few blasts, if you wait an extra second Sora will release a few more blasts, if you wait a few more seconds at juuuuust the right moment you'll release the maximum amount of blasts you can release, and if you wait too long and hit the final reaction command then you'll release the first level of blasts again. The third reaction command that releases the maximum amount of blasts is the one you should aim for. I don't quite recall if none of the other blasts give you an experience point, but at the very least the third command deals the maximum amount of damage so it's worth aiming for either way. Basically when you use any Limits in Limit Form just try to hit all of the reaction commands so that you can complete each limit and you should gain 1 experience point per limit. Finishing moves like Zantetsuken, Ripple Drive, and Hurricane Strike don't count. 1 Enix reacted to this
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted August 14, 2015 As mentioned above me, the way to level up Limit Form is by performing Sora's Limit Finishers in said Form. Each time you successfully pull off a Limit, it'll count towards leveling up Limit Form! Just keep on fighting the hordes of enemies while in Limit Form, and soon enough, you'll get Dodge Roll! FerroAxel7 237 Posted August 26, 2015 A great way to level up Limit Form is to use it constantly during the 1,000 Heartless battle. I leveled up my form maybe 3 or 4 times. When you run out of magic and can't use the abilities, revert right away so you can attack and gain magic back. Also, NEVER use reaction commands like Rising Sun and Sparkle Ray. It will kill a lot of Heartless and give you less to level up with.
SorRik 186 Posted August 26, 2015 To level up Limit for go to Agrabah and find mushroom number 5 attack it using limit form's all abilities.
kybldmstr94 55 Posted September 6, 2015 Mushroom V, limit finishers. Nuff said
Felicia Novita 419 Posted September 7, 2015 Limit form can be leveled up if you succeed limit ability that you perform. To level up Limit form, you can use this way : 1. As other members had said above, you can go to Agrabah to the Mushroom V located. if you ran out of drive meter, you can exit the world and enter to it again or you can use drive recovery if you have it a lot. 2. As other members had said above, If you have not reached battle with thousand heartless and about to reach there, you can do level up during battle with thousand heartless. As note I agree with Hero is light XIV said, you have to keep an eye to your drive status at status menu. 1 Veemon reacted to this
Veemon 1,540 Posted September 7, 2015 Do what everybody else has said here. And remember! You have to use the FINAL reaction command for the limit you use in order for the exp to count. Just using it and not finishing the full Limit will not give you the exp. For instance, using Sonic Rave and not using the final attack will not give any exp. But if you DO use the final command for it (You actually don't have to hit any heartless for this to count), you get one exp. Just keep on pressing Triangle and if the enemies interrupt you during the limit, you won't get the exp for Limit Form. Don't ever give up!
