Dex Carter- Currently getting the hell out of south darburb with Ara.

 

 

Dex smirked as she approved of his plan, closing his eyes for a second, he'd need to go into ravenous state to be able to travel far enough and with someone, "Where to?" he asked, as he concentrated, as power could be felt coming off of him as he concentrated even more.

 

And with a small, harmless burst of energy, he was in ravenous state, his aspect's power increasing drasticaly as a result, but with Ara's power, it wouldn't be felt at all, he put his hands on her shoulders as power began to channel through him, unstable matter, perfect at de-materializating anything extremely quickly, and putting it back together with enough know-how, which he had, having spent years practicing, he managed to copy the venom's matter and enhance himself with it as a result, making it sure that he and her wouldn't be spotted by traveling, and whoever this man was, would find literally nothing in this district.

 

All Ara needed to do was tell the location, and they'd get there in a few seconds, both of them would de-materialize, but would reapear in the said area, of course the strain would be great on Dex, and he didn't exactly know why he was trusting this girl, after all she was holding a sword at his throat just a few minutes ago, but he decided to do it anyway, if she tried anything, he could simply reaper somewhere else.

He did not have to go far as he soon found himself very close to an intense combat situation. Amaranth however, as he attempted to regain his senses after his swan-dive, soon was stricken with an intense pain that he, amongst the chaos and adrenaline, had not noticed or felt up until now. He felt around his body: 3 of his Ribs were broken and he was bruised in several places, along with a massive headache as he had hit his head during the fall.

"Oh gods....ugh..." He said to himself as he became light-headed and fell to his knees. He was lucky enough to somehow survive his fall, but not without being terribly scathed. He sheathed his sword as to not lose it and held his gut as he called out to the people there. "Hey! *Cough* A-Anyone over there hear me?? *Cough COUGH*" The last and loudest cough produced small amounts of blood from his mouth onto the ground...he had been reckless and put his life at risk with that jump and now he was paying the price as pain built up and his body weakened. His wounds were not fatal but could be exacerbated if he so much as tried to swing a sword, so he remained where he was, trying to signal what appeared to be Order Troops to notice him.

Elysia scowled and kept firing railgun shots, hoping one would hit...but then Jeremy's LRV pulled up behind her.

"We're leaving!" Jeremy was hanging onto the side. "Plant's destroyed, the plans over!"

She let him drag her sorry ass into the LRV, and she passed out finally across Seraphim's lap.

 

 

>Seraphim Aether/North Darburb - Running

 

With Elysia across her lap, the LRV kicked up dirt and started to retreat. "Oi Foehammer, Sitrep."

"Ma'am, dropships are clear. We've activated stealth systems and are using long routes to our respective bases. Sorry..."

"Not your fault." She glanced over at Jeremy. He looked pissed. She tapped her comm. "Cancel airdrop of asset WINTER IS COMING."

"Roger that." came the curt reply.

 

 

>Fireteam Osiris/North Darburb - Underwater Reclamation Plant

 

The APC screeched to a halt. "F****." Two of Fireteam Osiris got out and dragged Amaranth's sorry ass inside. "Idiot jumped! Is he trying to die?"

"Probably."

With a groan the NPC roared off on the tail of Jeremy's LRV, the Order completely evacuating the area before Vladimir decided to just blow everything up.

As he felt his conciousness lapse slightly, he was suddenly met with a Armoured Personal Carrier, or APC as most would say and two armoured soldiers came out of it and dragged him inside, commenting on his apparent stupidity for leaping into the crater.

As his blurred vision refocused after the sudden change in scenery, he stayed concious enough to respond to them. "I...I underestimated the depth of that Crater...but thanks for bringing me in, guys....and for the record: Not suicidal." He told them before relaxing a little, as much as he really could relax with his injuries along with the persistent pain he felt all over his body and his head.

"So...are you that Order that the Government hates...? ...pleasure to meet you guys, really." He added, rubbing his face to try and stay awake and aware, looking around inside the tight, military-grade vehicle filled with several Soldiers, all with guns and armour, ready to fight. They'd need to be, judging by what he saw of the Cannibals, which he doubted were the only kind, along with the Bane, or Banes, he couldn't tell, that caused them issues.

"Wh-what happened back there? All I remember was lots of fighting and I killed a few Cannibals and wounded others...then I did that silly jump....can ya fill me in?" He asked the nearest soldier, the one who said he was an idiot.

A man drapped in white baggy monk garbs, sporting green hair was standing at the base line of the water way. before being pulled in to the vehicle all things stopped and the monk got fairly close relatively quickly. Leaning in to see your face, He smirked

"You are the one that is needed" He stated in a velvet voice. He placed his hand on lynx chest and slide something into his shirt, a note. then the person Stood up and went directly into the walk. Disappearing. before the last words could be audible. "You needn't to trust me, only remember. For it will take you further in what you "wanted" mr.lynx." he had a german accent not thick but noticable. then everything continued as suppose to, leaving everything as a flash of a memory.

North Darburbs

everything in the north darburbs went white and very cold.  the houses and building around just vanished and the dark matter let of a huge Destructive Sound that hurdled Screams from the residents and bodies into the air. the area turned into an empty waste land on the surface and much of the area had become this black scorched.

the land look tainted in dark shadows of the people who were standing in the streets and the cannibals who had never found Shelter back in the sewers. Scorched flesh and disintegrated and dissolved people. some muck of human remains lined the streets Curious enough the sky's were clear. not a sign of debris was seen the explosion ,actually imploded which takes a degree of skill. With Vladimir on the roof He walked back out of site. Many people gathered around the crater from the other ends of the North Darburbs,calling emergency line. Soon after Helicopters Made their ways to the catastrophe. News copters were there getting the storing from the citizens and residents of the North Darburbs. And every channel was covering the indecent scene. The Culprit, the order. ever head line blamed the order with footage of them shooting railguns at homes destroying property. Making the hired banes that had defended Seem like heroes. The edges of the crater Lined With the dead Revenant army soldiers. 

"This is all we have on the story for now bu-- oh.. mhm.. This Just came in there is a govern issued order that just got pasted. if anyone sporting the order uniform, or apart of the order is seen Shot to kill on site they are a criminal organization and you should help you country be destroying the threat. Now remember the soldiers look like this"  an image is prompt on the screen of seraphim, elysia, and jeremy, as shown on the footage with the armor design of the units they have under them showing footage of them blowing the North Topia gates. "Kill on Sight! That is it i'm Kar la hamington And this is Daunting news"

The whole world was convinced and were ready to hunt them down if they weren't scared of what kind of weaponry the order had. they were just going to wait until they saw them. This event lead to more soldiers being deployed into Central Darburbs, tightening defenses. Line roof tops with the machines, of unknown use. Some cars dropping people off who look like citizens from military issued trucks. and then it went back to normal, But amoung the many sheep that are citizens Now lied Wolves hiding in human skin. Banes waiting for any and all activity.

 

East Darburbs

The streets empty broken streets lined with hundreds of soldiers and the planted their forces in the south east of the darburbs. waiting watching and hiding. for the octave and or the Order, for all the activity that the order has done left them open for a mole to sneak into their Ranks stealing form all the ware houses and stealing the ships and vehicles. they plotted to take it down from the inside but what unit is the mole apart of? Is the question. who or what infiltrated them.

 

Ara Xiao:

"North-west... City line, Straven Tower....." She started to break focus and her abilities were wearing itself. She was at her last whim, since that much out put was needed, it drained her fast. She started to become wobbly in the legs and her eyes rolled into the back of her head. she tumbled to the floor. She wasn't breathing. her eyes closed.  But her abilities were losing effects, and what need to be had to be down rather he left her or not is what was more serious. She raised her hand "Please." without actually being fully conscious and she was gripped by a overcoming of dizziness thus fainting.

The Voice left just as fast as it came only leaving a serious head ache and some extra information. the voice had a childness to it.

"North west? alright...I know where that tower is..." he said as he noticed her losing focus, and soon falling unconciouss, he managed to hold her before the she fell, "Hey don't pass out on me!" he said in a worried tone, but problem was, he could feel her power losing effect, he resorted to a unamused expression, "Well shit" he said as he closed his eyes and concentrated, soon enough both him, and Ara de-materialized, and he headed to where she pointed him.

 

(A little time later)

 

Dex and Ara reached the tower, and he quickly went inside,  finding a safe room of sorts to let her rest, they fully rematerialized as Dex still held onto her, but felt extreme pain from the strain, luckily this room had some furniture, which allowed him to lay her down on a couch as he left her katana by her side he simply unbuttoned his coat, leaving it hanging behind his shoulders as he sat in the opposite end of the room laying his back on the couch as he closed his eyes, "What the hell did I get myself into this time." he said as he looked at his right arm, which was partly erased, "Oh great" he said as he re-materialized and grit his teeth at the pain of doing so, replacing your own body parts was painful as hell, at least to his experience, as he resumed to resting, changing his Bane aspect to Docile state.

 

He didn't exactly left the room to explore the tower, he didn't know it was safe, hell he didn't even know if this girl was leading him into a trap or not, thats what he got for following his gut.

 

 

 

 

Gabriel Stross

Central darburb, rooftops

 

 

 

Gabriel was enjoying the scenery of one of the city's skyscrappers, he often come to the big city to look at the city below, just enjoying the view, but his enjoyment was cut short as his suit's AI notificated him.

 

"Signal acquired" Said the Ai as Gabriel sighed below his visor as he held up his left arm, which had the computer monitor, as a hologram of the new TV channel broadcasted, he had a blank face with a frown below his mask, kinda hoping they called to bring him along whatever mission they had, either way this'd be bad for them and as a result, bad for him as well as he rolled his eyes and pressed a few buttons trying to jam the signal, "Jamming failed", this message made Gabriel roll his eyes again and motion his head backwards in frustration, he pressed a few more buttons to locate the signal's area, coming from the TV station, at least seemed like it.

 

"TV station's location acquired, updating gps" Grabield quickly packed his things, specially his grappling hook gun, one of the many gadgets he built over the years from his backpack, equiping it on his right wrist, he hated having to jump from rooftop to rooftop, but he didn't have much choice now, "Sending message" The Ai notified as it sended a message to Jeremy and Seraphim through their radios, the message followed "I expect an explanation about what just happened, i'l see what I can do about this TV broadcast. see you guys soon, Gabriel Stross" with the Ai's female voice, the message was sent to them through a secret channel, unabled to be traced or even detected, as he started heading to the central Darburb's tv station, didn't look like the security had arrived at the nearby rooftops, yet anyway, so he put his grapling hook to good use, rappeling up buildings and jumping from one building to the other, he felt like a common red and blue hero that could shoot web out of his hands, but instead of a web it was a line of titanium reinforced steel fibre wire with a hook at the end, and he wasn't painted red and blue.

"God damn." A deep voice said. A groan of effort followed. Finally, a manhole cover moved. Caesar Mors climbed out of the sewers. He was covered in dirt, blood, and who knows what else. He shook himself off, and wrung his soaking shirt with his hands. "I hate my life sometimes." The detective muttered to himself as he glanced around. His ability had activated just in time so that he had enough time from sensing the dark matter explosion to get into the bloody sewers. Unfortunately, several cannibals had already staked their claim there. He'd been lucky. His ability wouldn't keep saving him if he kept going in over his head like that. He shook his hair, trying to dry it a little bit. He glanced around, seeing the burnt bodies and destroyed buildings. All those people... all those lives... victim to a war they hadn't committed to. At that moment he had a few choice words for those Order fellows, as well as the Revenant Army. Caesar walked, more staggered, still exhausted from his battle, over to the remnants of a house. A radio was still on underneath the rubble. He pulled it out, and tuned it to the news. Once he fixed that, and began to hear the voices through the speaker, he turned up the volume. Northtopia gate destroyed... government order on the Order... names of the leaders... All of the information blurred in Caesar's mind as he tried to sort it out. He sighed. What could he do? Not much. Sleep sounded good. Alas, tonight was not the night for such luxuries though. The detective began to wander through the streets of North Darburb, in some attempt to see if any survivors needed any help, though the help he could give in such a state was rather limited.

(For Caesar Mors) North Darburbs

 

A Boy wearing all black in all black cargo shorts, bumps into Caesar. at the felt of the bump you turn to look and the boy is standing on rubble, Staring down on you. He says "You will have no home if you don't follow me.." The boy emotions could be felt, as if it were you own. With your ability you know those emotions are not your, but it feel like you are need, and it is of the utter most importance as the boys emotion lead Caesar To feel. The Feeling weren't Forced, But Layered on top of what he was saying. the boy face was unclears but you head sears in pain from white flashes and quick images. A Tower, Numbers. It would only make sense to Caesar, If only he could make the time to decode it. Shortly after the Mirage of images the boy was already far into the distance fading into a crowd of reporters. walking by as if they can't see him. the address Was North west Darburbs, Straven Tower. Its a grove type area, where trees and forest run wild from what little you made out.

 

(For Gabriel Stross) Radio Tower Roof top

 

the roof murked with smog from the vents and steam coming from the air ducts.

Upon making it to the radio tower on the roof none of the actual tech is on, none of the crew is doing their job. just lazying around. But a older women, Stands there bringing a shade of beauty to the Room, She's busty and Keeping her arms tucked under her breast, to allow them to pop. She is just walking Back and forth. But The signal, is coming from her. Everyone else in their Just Useless meat bags, as you hear her say. She then talks about how banes are the future and nothing else will live after "Z-Dash Rune Scar" is in effect. One man gets up and she thrust her nails to slide across his throat. saying how she hates eager men, telling him to wait his turn like a good boy. Slitting it and he falls on the floor holding his throat, he lies there twitching in his own blood and then stopping no longer moving. she put her heel into his eye before she stepped over his body. All the other people just stared in shock before returning to doing nothing, many of them look scared but they wont stand up and leave. Tension in the room is high. 

 

(For Dex Carther) At Straven Tower

 

A little girl that i no taller than 3 feet walks in baring tea and cookies. She walks up to Dex Saying we've been waiting for you. Lord Darken, And I Have been watching many of you very closely And we think we found the right group this time. Implying they tried multiple times before whoever she and this darken fellow is. She sits besides you and tells you that their is nothing to fear and that ara doesn't usually bring guys home. She goes to tell a story about how, Ara saved her life to, assuming she saved dexs life. then the voice of a grown man is heard outside the room followed by knocking. The little girl then runs to the door and an older man in crutches waltz in. asking the little girl if she had even introduced herself, before she volunteered you to her constant chatter. She looks down kinda sad she did something room but before you get to speak her moods back up

 

"Nice To meet cha' I'm Sunnie" and glad she was to introduce herself.

 

"I am Darken, and we have alott to Discuss." 

 

He said with a very calm and Collected tone Almost soothing, but his voice has a bit of grit to it most likely due to his age. Upon saying this he turns and say "But it will have to wait till the others get here." He said telling you to help yourself to some food, and asks "Why are you guys sitting in the dark? Sunnie the lights if you will?" She eagerly nodded and stood up from her position next to you, Skipping to the light and Pulling this massive lever on the wall. Then lights come on showing an military High grade bomb bunker, base as it uncovered itself from the dark. "Make yourselves comfortable!" He said grinning, he loved doing that from what you can concur from his expression.

As the morning sun rose, smoke covers the air in a thick smog. Debris, and rubble generously covers most of the area. His head filled with an intense twinge of a headache. 'I think I've gone nuts but I'm sure that wasn't my own thought...That felt weird.' Sasori didn't feel comfortable knowing that who ever they were was inside his mind. 'Maybe I'm starting to get even more stir crazy...eh at leasts it keeps me from boredom.'  Climbing down from the roof he started to question the voice '

Why would they need labour worker like me, I don't trust it. ah well I think on this more when I get home.' getting to the ground sasori check his watch for the time and ses that it is 6:40 in the morning "Great I have work in a few, after a night like that? Man I need break." Sasori said as he started to walk home once more. As he walked home he saw the same soldier he knocked out, he was just wearing a thin shirt with black tights. "Here. This was something I guess I needed for a bit." He threw the Dog tags back at the soldier. The Soldier stood there confused as sasori gave back his uniform. Sasori had a dress shirt  and his pants on. "Don't worry about the coat, I have a lot of those at home. See ya." The soldier seemed grateful and smiled with some of his teeth gone. 'I guess I hit him a bit too hard.' The soldier then started walking off. 'Must have been a mute...'

Sasori then continued to fiddle with the thought he had while he was getting closer to home. 'If it's fake then the address she gave me won't exist...I will never know it's legitimacy if I continue to wonder. I'll go.'  He started to think of where would it be, He felt the thought trickle in his head. 'A place called Straven Tower in North West Darburbs...I have never heard of it...I'm going to skip work and get some rest. Besides The boss owes me for working overtime. He can't get me for not showing up.' Sasori smiled he eventually got home, He saw his reflection on the front window of his home. "You look like hell, but Still a Handsome Devil." He winked at his own reflection. His hair was very Wildly messy, He had dirt on his face and pants. 

 

Sasori walked in his house and got in bed and went to sleep, an image of Straven tower started to slowly appear, A grassy grovy area, with a tower Standing in the middle of it, he can hear the voice saying over and over that they need him and his Bane Ability. after waking up he opened his eyes and sat up 'huh, I had a dream about the tower, you know what? I'm going there right now then!' Sasori got up, took a shower and and started to get dressed and left his house to go to Straven tower in the north west.



as he was walking down the street he noticed how some of the people were acting suspicious. 'wierd.. the people are watching closely like they are ready to attack at any moment.' Sasori thought to himself. he turned diagonally left so he can go to the tower. as kept walking, he drank some water to keep himself hydrated and the area started to go from building to more of a forest like area with vines and roots growing on the buildings and some trees where buildings should be. He like the trees and plants that were around him, he noticed a tall tower in the distance and a huge smile slowly grew on his face 'Sooo, it is real huh? looks like i'm in for one hell of an adventure today!' Sasori thought happily and began to walk faster to the tower. As he got through the forest he saw the how tall the tower was and began to walk up to the front door and knock on it.

'Alright that should be a long enough rest.' Shane thought to himself as he got up and continued towards East Darburbs. As he was entering the area he felt a strange aura around the city, almost like the city itself was a person. 'I don't like this one bit... but it is the only was I can find out if there is a place without cannibals.' He thought, as he took one final step to be in the middle of the city. "This isn't good, it almost feels like there are already a lot of people are here... Just not vary kind people." He said to himself. 'This place feels worse then South Darburbs, I would much rather deal with cannibals then whatever is here.' Shane decided it was time to leave the city and head back to South Darburbs for the last time, "Unless something big happens to me I am not leaving my home again." He said as he went on his way.

 

(Sorry I have been working a lot and since school is starting up I need to get my classes straightened out.)

-Nolan "Arkham" Vigil- Central Darburb, Rooftop of building near the Radio Tower.

 

 

Sitting with his feet dangling over the edge of a building, Nolan was viewing the News on a Holographic Screen on his right arm which held the main emitter. He could only shake his head and sigh with both frustration and mild shock as everything in North Darburb had evidently gone to shit, what with the News Anchors and other News Crew members were bad-mouthing The Order due to their apparent "involvement in wanton destruction and genocide", which he knew was total bull. However, due to a communication silence, he hadn't heard Seraphim's side of the story, so he could only speculate...and he guessed someone had sabotaged the operation.

"Damn....we've got a Mole, for sure. It can't have gone THAT wrong on its own, it can't have....no wonder the chief is so sensitive about who joins and who hits the road." Nolan said, with a chuckle, through his Voice Modulator in his Helmet, to himself as he did not notice anyone around...not immediately, that is. A quick turn of the head later and he spotted a familiar sight on the nearby Radio Tower Rooftop, then standing up and jumping across to the rooftop and extended his arms in surprise and gladness.

"Ahh, Stross? Old buddy, if I can call you that without my wrist being broken, *Inhale* oh dear...things aren't going well, but you already know that, I'm sure. Someone has ratted us out, I know it." He spoke to him aloud, but not overly loud, as he figured Gabriel was trying to be sneaky. "You, looking for something?" He added before sitting down nearby on the floor of the rooftop.

>Elysia Rose/Southeast Darbubr - Order Base Thebes

 

Fireteam Osiris was spread around the planning room of the Order's base. Seraphim was on the couch, head in Riley's lap. Her close friend did not mind at all, letting Seraphim stay passed out. Jeremy and Soren were in the corner on a table, back to back - Jeremy was reading a book while Soren listened to music. The two might argue but they were good friends. The recent disaster had them exhausted, and it showed.

 

Elysia was looking at the middle planning table, frowning. The disaster of North Darburb had them screwed, and right now they had to recover. Anubis had nearly been wiped out engaging Vladimir, and Sobek was folded into the remains of Sekhmet after the failed gate demolition operation. All they could say was Nephthys was alive. Barely damaged and having been evacuated fast, the Order had lost over thirty men in a single night. Elysia looked over at Jeremy. "Hey. We need to be ready."

 

>Jeremy Hunter/North Darburb - Order Base Thebes

 

Jeremy looked over, closing the book. He frowned, then got up. Soren didn't fall, but took his headphones off to watch. Jeremy rubbed his forehead as he leaned against the planning table, then picked up the comm device.

"This is Osiris One, I am ordering an immediate fallback to Thebes. North Darburb operation was a failure and the Revenant Army has used our attempts to save the Darburb in a smear campaign. I need all Bravo Assets back here. I need all Romeo Assets to you're predetermined locations and on Red Alert. More info to follow."

 

Jeremy dropped the comm. "We thought we were ahead. How the hell did they even know we existed? We don't even use the emblem on our uniforms. They...they knew our symbol..." He looks pale. "We have a mole."

Dex Carther - Currently in straven tower

 

Dex only stared at the little girl which soon entered the room with teas and cookies, he had a confused expression but soon resumed to his normal one as she began to talk about Ara, and how she saved her life, he chuckled as she commented about her saving his life, "Its kind of the contrary, actually" he commented, "hey whats your-" before he could finish his question an old man walked into the room, speaking with her and greeting him, both introducing themselves, "Dex Carther, the pleasure is mine..." he introduced himself, "But I think you already knew my name didn't you?" he asked, intrigued.

 

He smirked as the man said they had matters to discuss but his smirk soon disappeared as he mentioned other people arriving, frowning, 'Others? what is this a special team or something?' he thought as he looked at them as Sunnie turned on the lights, revealing the room to be a high grade military bunker, which impressed Dex "Whoa" he commented, he nevew saw a bunker, this place certainly looked 'safe' from what he could see, shrugging as Darken told him to make himself at home, picking up a cup of tea as he sat down in the couch again, "I do hope she didn't go into a coma..." he commented looking at Ara, who was still laying on the opposite couch, "So I assume these people are coming here as we speak?" he asked.

He soon rappeled up to the rooftop with ease, as his suit's visor lit up "Pk signals detected, two banes detected" The Ai spoke as Gabriel frowned, but as it turns out one of the banes was an old friend, an annoying one at that, turning around to face Nolan, Grabiel as always muttered no words, only silence, nodding at Nolan's question, with a hologram projecting from his suit's chest, showing an arrow pointing at a TV, referencing the sudden broadcast they both saw about the order, he pointed down at the floor, signalizing it was this station that was broadcasting it.

 

He turned around without a word, Nolan's visor would pop up showing a screen of Gabriel's view, Gabriel had just connected both their suit's signals so one could see what the other saw., He crouched and opened up his monitor, detecting a few cameras, Gabriel hacked into the security and took over the cameras with ease,without being detected, he couldn't believe they didn't update the system, but still he took control over the camera, he noted, switching through the cameras, he noted two things, none of the equipment was on, and in the lobby no one was doing their job, but he saw the source of the signal a busty woman, he managed to catch what she said, something about a 'Z-Dash Rune Scar'  Which confused Gabriel, and probably Nolan as well, he saw she killing one of the workers with her nails, Gabriel grit his teeth, he did hate having innocents killed.

 

He looked forward and noted a door, with an electric security lock, he motioned for Nolan to see what he could do about opening as Gabriel kept an eye on surveillance.

-Nolan "Arkham" Vigil- Radio Station Rooftop w/ Gabriel Stross

 

 

"Yeah, I saw the broadcast...I can only imagine how pissed off the Chief will be. Jeremy on the other hand, might be more or less so, but I digress." He said to Gabriel, before looking down where he pointed, tilting his head slightly before looking back up at Stross as he spoke. "Hmm....so this is where the broadcast came from? Thought it was a run-of-the-mill Radio Station. Further proof of deceptive appearances being common." He noted, before his view changed to Gabriel's POV and observed the camera system with him, raising an eyebrow beneath his helmet after hearing about this "Z-Dash Rune Scar" before one of the male workers was slashed at with nails, bleeding, twitching...then stopping. He was a brutal person himself but even he couldn't help but be disgusted at the seemingly random and needless murder of an innocent, who then had his eye stomped in with a high-heel. Ouch.

 

He then noticed Gabriel, after disconnecting from the Camera system to leave him to it, motioning him to open a Door with an Electric Security Lock. "You got it, Stross." He said, rushing to the door and kneeling on one knee before attaching a device to a Panel that concealed the source of the Electric Lock and tapping on his arm a few times, disabling any security measures around the panel and removing it by ripping it off with some effort, tossing aside the loose metal and scanning the wires with his ER Scanner in his HUD, finding the correct wire, the blue one, then cutting it with some Mini-Wire Cutters which produced a slight clicking sound from the door and it opened before him, then signalling Gabriel. "Stross? Got the door." He said, putting away the Wire Cutters.

Upon the door being Unlock by Nolan, The signal cut. The woman wasn't broadcasting the signal anymore instead Squinted Abit before going for her Red bag on the back of the room in a chair from the far right. Instead a new signal started coming off of her and the camera systems shut off for a bit and back on as she was hiding somewhere in the building. She was making certain camera Feeds Go out, From the looks of it she may not have any fighting capabilities, But how she was alerted was still unknown. On one of the cameras a she's seen walking down a hall till she waves her hand and the camera turns away from her. She was in a hurry. she may know your here but she doesn't know where you are at.

 

She Starts up all Systems inside the building To get a distraction going and vanishes into the deeper parts of the building. She is still inside but where?

The area you are in is pretty dark, He could barely see. there are vents and box in the area that could easily be used to hide, But he has Something on his back, Attached to his spine. It has Injectors, With this turquoise liquid A Lining his back with needles, and his eyes have a bright hue to them. Not natural for a human to have. Puddles of water are streaked Across the ground, and broken glass. Stepping on these will cause noise. Also the metal piece you've thrown is in near direct sight of the security guards view, Not grabbing it would resort in him Being Suspicious of his surroundings. (NPC Being suspicious of their surroundings are harder to bypass. meaning sneaking become less of and option.)

The room is quiet and blank stares pass through the room as eyes meet. People have come to the conclusion that there might be a snitch amoung them. Some people start arguing amoung each other. Questioning the "Whereabouts" and Authenticity of what their answer is. Many of them begin to brawl with one another, but this Could be used against them. Using jeremys telekinetic Ability just maybe, he could Soft read Peoples Heart rate, and Vital signs. But this technique is a difficult one and untrained Telekinesis wielder yields very little results. But with that ability he'd be able read their signs from facial Expression, to heart rhythm.If someone was lying their vital signs would show it, On the other hand, Why would the Revenant Army let it be so easy and clear, that you had mole. Knowledge like that was so easily Discovered. Unless it was Psychological warfare. Making their intent on paranoia.

-Nolan "Arkham" Vigil- Radio Tower Rooftop

 

 

Almost immediately after he cut the Blue Wire and signalled Gabriel, all of the lights shut off in sections, completely darkening the area around them in seconds as Nolan clenches his fist and curses. "Aww crap...." He did not have long to curse himself as a Security Guard showed himself, complete with Flashlight and looking around for intruders. The man was squinting his eyes, indicating he had trouble seeing them, but Nolan knew he needed to hide and, since it was in the Guard's almost immediate view, remove the bent panel from sight. But this was not all, as the Guard seemed to have a strange apparatus on his back consisting of needles and other tech, along with his eyes emitting a blue hue. Nolan decided he did not want to see what happens if the Guard spots him, so he dashed quickly and silently for the panel and grabbed it, quickly taking cover with it in hand behind a box, scanning for better cover.

 

"I need to sneak around him. There has to be more here besides that strange woman...." He said in his head before peaking his head out and scanning the unaware Guard: His Heart's BPM and Emotional State appeared in his visor, along with a rough summary of the unknown tech on his back.

 

BPM (Beats Per Minute): 81-83

 

Condition: Calm.

 

Technology Analysis: Hypodermic Needles mounted to apparatus on back filled with an Unknown Substance. More detailed analysis possible with sample of both Substance and apparatus.

 

"Maybe I can silently take him down...a certain Dark Knight is capable of that, as am I. But....that substance could be anything, hell it could be a Super Soldier Serum that makes him a big muscled hulking brute...or it's something else, I don't know." He thinks to himself as he continues analysing the area, picking up something very faint nearby, but it was so faint that he couldn't pick up what it was exactly. He needed to get closer to the source but he would need to remain undetected by the Guard. "If I can get around that Guard, I can check what that faint signal is....but if I am seen, that will be considerably harder." He thought once more before moving in a crouched stance, heading towards a Vent while the Guard isn't looking and hiding behind that instead, narrowly avoiding the Flashlight's glare.

The stealth plan goes without a hitch, and the security guard is unalerted by any and all activity you are Doing. Unaware Of you, He walk right by and Continues on his nightly voyage. Not stepping on any glass or in any puddles of water, Nolan was able to be As Stealthy as possible.

the guard did how ever meet up with some other guards and continued to talk to them not to far from your location. this made an even harder Exit window for you since they were facing the way the signal was leading to. The signal starts to fade and get weaker and weaker the more you dilly dally. So sitting in that spot would lead to and utter lose of the signal. The guards stay there and hang out smoking a cigarette and chill there. Only when the Other guard looks Away seeming to be on some sort of drugs are you able to sneak, But a diversion Would work just as fine, but which is riskier? 

 

The area give off a bit of Snow making things that much quieter.

-Nolan "Arkham" Vigil- Close to Run-Down Lab

 

 

Haven given the Guard the slip, Nolan moved on forward towards the signal he had picked up, noting it's increasing weakness as he goes on, evidently someone is doing something to mask it or shut down whatever is emitting the signal. However, Nolan had to stop due to there being several guards in his way, as the Signal was through them. So he took a position near the Guards but hid out of sight to plan his next moves.

"Damn....if I don't get a move on, the signal will be lost. Hmm....I should distract those Guards." He said quietly to himself before looking through his various gadgets: Some he got from Gabriel, others he made himself through tinkering. He soon pulled out a "Noise-Maker", a strange cylindrical-shaped contraption with exposed components and a bare frame that, when activated would, after 5 seconds after throwing would emit a strange sequence of loud noises that, due to their oddity, would catch most, if not all of the Guard's attentions. Any stragglers could be distracted with the other Gadget: "Decoy Emitter" which was a single use Gadget that would emit a Hologram of the user who, to be convincing, could be programmed to move about and even mildly vocalise in a lively fashion, only to deactivate precisely 12 seconds later. Due to it's hodge-podge nature, it would break apart after it's single usage as it was designed to be a disposable emitter.

 

"All right...these should do it." He muttered to himself before adjusting his position and preparing the Noise-Maker, waiting until no one was looking in the direction he would throw it....and rolled it quickly across the ground, into an alley way. 5 Seconds later, it activated, emitting it's noises and distracting most of the Guards who walked off in a strange fashion, they weren't on drugs like the remaining Guard was, but were very tired as he could see the dark circles under their eyes. Bracing himself to dash, he had dropped off the Decoy Emitter in another corner near the Drugged-Up Guard and positioned himself to where he could make a bolt for the door... "Huh...?" The Guard uttered as he saw the decoy...river-dancing, which caused him to walk towards it and Nolan bolting for the door and, finding it unlocked, opened it and shot in, but closed the door quietly behind him as to not alert them. Now he was in and free to explore this run-down place. "Right....*Inhale and exhale* What secrets have you got here then...?" He said to himself while moving about quietly, attempting to find any points of interest.

Seraphim awoke, and looked up. "Flat." She muttered under her breast, before sitting up. She got off the couch and leaned onto the map table.

"These coordinates are burned into my head. I can't get them out." She brought up the coordinates (which she assumed was Straven tower). "I'm taking Elysia to check it out."

"Sera-"

"I need you and Soren to find the mole. Use your telekinesis to find them. Soren will be your backup."

Jeremy frowned. "Seraphim, we already have Apophis Team MIA at the moment. And we both know Arkham and Omega are wildcards. I never trusted them and right now we need all our Bane here at Thebes."

Seraphim shook her head. "Just find the Mole, both of you." She yanked Riley up and grabbed Elysia on the way out.

 

Jeremy turned to Soren. "I guess we check our backyard before the rest."

His friend shrugged. "Let's get to it."

Elysia leaned against the side of the dropship, magnetically holding there. Seraphim was near the cockpit while Riley fired the ship up.

 

It rose from the hidden hangar in the back, and cloaked. It began to head to the coordinates, and Elysia flipped a coin.

Gabriel Stross - Executing "No mercy protocol" (Pretty much he is going for the kill)

 

 

Gabriel wasted no time as the camera feed went out, only for him to see one last camera, with her waving at it as it turned off as well, he memorized the room's layout, and set his onboard computer to detect on which floor the room was "Tracking" The Ai pointed out as it scanned the area for the woman's PK signal, which was soon detected in the lower floors of the building. But instead of waltzing in there, possibly into a trap, he decided to first take out the power first, detecting the generator room in a few floors below him he decided to head through the vents.

 

He hated going through the vents, but as he did so, he followed a path that led straight to the electricity room, thanks to the advanced pathfinding system the suit had, he got into the room without trouble, the room was, sort of well lit, not much though as he plugged into the generator, cutting off the power on the whole building would complicate matters more than it would ease things, so with some precise hacking, "Shutting down power to the lower floors" With a final press of a button on Gabriel's monitor, the power for the lower levels was shut off, temporarily, at least for 30 minutes, and being a time lock, there was no way for them to reactivate it, sometimes Gabriel loved having this aspect of his, tinkering with things, and just making his opponent's lives a living hell.

 

He went back to the vents, this time heading to the lower floors, popping out of a nearby vent, in complete darkness, only his suit's green visor lights could be seen from him, but with some tugging on his hood, it wouldn't be seen very clearly, after a few minutes of sneaking in complete darkness, tracking where this woman was by her signal, thankfully, by shutting off the power he managed to shut off most of the building's systems, so he wouldnt detect a miriad of signals, he managed to track her signal down to a room, which he immediately looked for an alternative way in, but neither him nor his suit detected any, he'd have to go through the front door it seemed.

 

He took cover beside the door, slowly opening it, making barely any sound whatsoever as he quickly rolled inside, taking cover behind a nearby table, in complete darkness from the power being cut off, he was ready to kill this woman, he didn't care if she had information about this plan of hers, as he figured she'd have something related to it in her belongings, easily picked up after she was dealt with, he pulled out two dagges and held it into his hands, activating the sonar emitter on his radar, to detect any threats in the room.

The room went quiet, And everything was still. The breathe leaving people mouths could be felt. The area began to get a thinckness to it that was leading Jeremys mind to where the person was. the body of the soldier seems frigidity, but their heart calm. their eyes sank in and their chest tightened as jeremy turned their way. Jeremy Could Feel this happening.

jeremy was able to find the mole this person's heart moved unnatural, feeling as the mole has been Discovered, She trys to run and Fire their gun In a crazy manner trying to wound or maim. He runs and back himself in a corner. he is afraid, Screaming out loud that they would help him, And not to touch him. That he was strapped and he'd blow. But Jeremy Could feel there was no bomb

Before gabriel took his turn trying to open the door and Sonar into the room, An image on the sonar popped up of her getting ready to kick the door Down. Without her heels on. The Door Slammed open and she rolled out, with a 15 inch combat knife. She began to swing at Gabriel, And when Gabriel was swinging back, she tries to dodge and counter. She flips back to get some Space between them.

"Aw We have a hero now don't we?" She pull a data Chip from her pocket, "Do you want this?" then Before you knew it she snapped it putting one piece Down the front of her pant, and the other piece she chewed up like gum. She did all this in an erotic way. The from the back of her pants she slowly pull a glock out, aiming at him. She taunts him and tells him to Come at her.

Upon making it to the tower complete cloaked, the trees bend With the force of the aircraft landing and the grass falters at the force of the gale. the area is a tree area but well kept. Large and there is a tower  not to far but you'd have to walk because their are trees to close. this was the closest you'd be able to land. Not shortly after a boy with a hoodie is standing their And he holding a jump rope. He is staring at Seraphim and Then looks at Elysia. His eyes Glow with a red hue. and then he looks away and starts jump roping. here everything is calm and peaceful. Woodland Creature room freely and the trees are ever green. then the little boy tells you "You're free Just to walk in, Lord says this is the true free country." before jump roping off

The door Slides a jar and with you looking eye level you miss this little girl wearing glasses, with blue hair just below your vision. She blinks rapidly before Adjust her glasses. "A-are you h-here For The Cookies?" she ask in an Endearing voice. She Hides a bit behind the door intending that if you were here for the cookies she'd run to get them first. A male Voice then Comes Out From behind the door Adeya, Don't be so rude Let the Visitor in. The door slides Open And man in white monk garbs Are stand tall and proud with his eyes Seemingly Shut.  Smiling, his vibe is weird, he look prepared for action yet he is calm and still. Quite Trained if you would say so. His form Seemed open but his Footing was Put in such away that he be closer to you before you could raise a hand. He greets you By walking closer and says Come in, "You must have been invited by Lord darken."

He smiled "Yes i do, I Do know who you are, and i promise you i want nothing that has to do with the money that is placed over you head."

Ara wakes up and Lift her head very slowly, Coughing chunks Shortly after. Darken then comments on how resilent she is and you needn't worry yourself with her, "She's probably get upset if you tried to help her anyways, isn't that right Ara?" She Just Stared at him slightly Bothered, and Upset. Darken just Smirked and Didn't bother With her anger at the moment He looked Down the hallway. "Well the lot of the arrived. How does that Sound to you Mr.?" Sunnie then Got up and said "Bai bai Mister." and headed for the door.

-Nolan "Arkham" Vigil- Run Down Laboratory, exploring.

 

 

As he walked, Nolan looked around at his surroundings: They were indeed dilapidated and appeared unused, but closer inspection showed that signs of life remained....not the chemicals that were being tested, but rather the recently finished remnants of a Take-Away Meal next to a Row of Test Tubes in a empty Lab with the door open. "Heh, someone couldn't resist a Wendy's...gods forbid if anyone were to stumble upon this place." He said with a tone of jest as he explored, but soon stopped as he realized something. "I should contact or at least send a message to Chief Seraphim, otherwise Jeremy will be out for my head, thinking I'm the Mole they have..." He soon knelt down in a corner and opened up his holographic screen on his right arm and attempted to hail her: No response. "Gah, she must be out on a mission, I'll leave a message." He then selected "Record Video Message" with himself appearing on screen as he spoke for his video message to her.

 

"Seraphim? This is Arkham. Just wanted to assure you I'm still kickin' and I'm aware of the situation The Order's currently in. I was with my silent buddy earlier but separated to investigate some suspicious activity. He's dealing with the Radio Tower smearing us and I'm checking out a Run Down Lab that seems very active, probably on the Light of Dawn's payroll. I'll see what I can find here and then report back to base to await further orders, maybe tinker with a few things. Oh! One more thing: I had to sneak past Security Guards and they had these...strange contraptions on their backs with Hypodermic Syringes with a Blue Substance in them, I'll send you all I could find out about them, I couldn't get a sample unfortunately. Anyway, I hope you and the others are doing well. Yes, even Jeremy. I'll see you soon. Arkham out." He then attached the info on the Apparatus on the Guards to the message and sent it to Seraphim before getting back up and heading to the Lower Levels of the Lab, figuring there would be something there worth finding.

Recovering from his injuries in the Order's Infirmary, Amaranth was thrashing lightly as he was sleeping, but having an intense nightmare...

He sharply awoke with a fearful gasp, but his vision remained blurry though he could tell he was in some kind of Medical Environment, complete with IV Drip in his arm and bandages across certain parts of his body. "Uggh...." He laid down again and sighed. "Well...now to see...geh, if I can prove myself..." He muttered with slightly pained breaths before relaxing again.

Gabriel frowned bellow his mask as his sonar popped up with her already kicking the door, he knew he should've used it earlier, but that didn't matter, as he was dodging the woman's swings, he dodged each and every swing without trouble, but before he could retaliate the roman flipped back, he saw the whole scene, about her seemingly chewing the gum, although he knew she was faking it, the data chip was too important to be lost, even for her, and only half a data chip wouldn't exactly do much, unless the part of the chip in her pants was the part that contained the data, in which he didn't need the other part at all.

 

Gabriel just stared at her for a few seconds scanning her, 'heart beat, 89 bpm, state: calm' the suit readings implied , his suit's Ai spoke out loud, " Word 'Hero' searching dictionary" Gabriel held up his hands, as if surrendering, but all he was doing was lining up the shot from his glove's plasma shooter, his right hand soon lit up as a blast of concentrated plasma was shot towards her, but not with the intention of hitting her, it was for a distraction, the shot passed right beside her head, and no doubt made her stagger from the force and velocity, Gabriel quickly threw one of his knives at her hand, the knife didn't stab it,but instead tangled her hand with the chain connected to his suit, before she could notice Gabriel had already dashed at her.

 

Delivering one swift punch aimed into her stomach, and one to her gut to make her spit the chip's part out of her mouth, granted if they hit, wheter or not they hit, he disarmed her and threw her on the ground, holding her at gunpoint as her hand was still being held by the chain, "Word 'hero' not found" the Ai spoke, perfect timing too, Gabriel unloaded the gun, throwing its clip into the other side of the room as he pulled out one of his smgs, and readied to fire, he knew trying to interrogate her would be useless, he didn't have time nor the patience to get information out of her, stepping lightly at the hand that was holding the combat knife.

Dex frowned, "Why does everyone I know comment about the bounty on me?" he commented with a frown as he sighed, and sipped on the tea, as he chuckle on the interaction between Darken and Ara, "She seems tough, that much I see" he he added his input as well, smirking finishing his tea, as he heard the noises along with Darken.

 

"Sound like trouble, this should be interesting." he joked as he stood up, stretching his arms. and readjusting his coat.

Seraphim and Elysia looked upon the boy warily, then Seraphim clicked her comm. "Rikey. Go airborne. Do not stay groundside, do not allow anything but us onboard." She did not like this one little bit. She took a breath and headed with Elysia for the tower. Her rifle up, Elysia flipping coins warily, the two slink ed through the forest until they reached the tower. Seraphim moved closer, looking for an entrance.

"Assuming the coords are correct, let's check the top first." She tapped some buttons on her gauntlet, and the pair approached a door to the tower.

Not wanting to be rude, Seraphim knocked...aggressively.
