He is known for his stern strict mind, strapped with the confidence to match his Charisma. His mind is set, on the world and is gripped well, never to be withered or loosened. There is no other to oppose the rule. Those who do not like him, fear him. Those who fear him knows what he is capable of and will step aside before ever opposing him. Even the five families, They know well of what him and his personal army are Adequate of Causing.


Everyone is in A ray of Peace and freedom.” Tis a lie, The world itself is in hiding. The super powered children of tomorrow are being hunted. When a new baby is born, doctors inject the children with a substance Called “Abysmal”. this represses the DNA compound that forms the metabolic solutions, giving the children abilities, their powers called “Aspect”, these children are known as “Banes”. Derived from the Auxiliary components known to use elements. Their abilities form similar arch types. Distinguishing was important, so the government troops coined terms of levels from Harmless to harmful. Three major categories were sprung from these Anti-cordial Conceptions, Docile, Medial And ravenous. They use these categories to accommodate it with the assertive amounts of aggression needed. So they still have their abilities but they don't last long.

 

Going on Power binges, they get caught fairly quickly. Executed immediately or inslaved, their lives are better spent in hiding. While others try to live normal lives to scared to save someone else, they rather save themselves. For The government wants to keep all of the power in its self And Fear in the populace. With the fear Of a super powered Boycott that could over throw them one day keeps them on edge. “Kill without discretion!” the motto their Militia follows, if they suspect you they will kill you! There are five main families, These families harbor the government By “Doing as asked” in exchange for Unlimited power with in their jurisdiction.

 

With these headmasters in place with power, they Will protect the dictator with their lives. Insuring he survives Till the end.

 

They say “The world is great no famine, No hate. Life is where it should be.” When the streets are littered with poor homeless children, trying to steal their next meal. Only to be beaten by the greed Festered Adults when caught, and left to die on the streets where they originally rotted. Women selling their bodies, paralleling their children with this fate, to make it to the next day. Human traffickers, selling men, women and even children. Hoping them on drugs to gain their dependence, And Leading them through heavy labors Many don't survive a week. Especially and unfortunately not the children. Men are slobs, fat and greedy lustful beings. Either trading money for “Favors” of any kind. Life in the Darburb (Slums) Is a life riddled with Diseases and famine, Abuse and even Cannibalism. Living there is no place for People. But on the other hand there is the Northtopia. Where everything looks to be right out of a fantasy. The rich live In harmony, festively accumulating More and more wealth. Laugh day in/ day out, believing to be higher than those in the darburbs. Even making sport out of leading a band of Wealthy men down to the Darburbs at night to proceed in an act called “Stress slaying”. Where they'd kill children who have no homes and can't find shelter. Kidnapping women to train in being the perfect wife that they have them cook, clean, and breed. Capturing men to have them fight in arenas like dogs. Fighting for their lives, they are promised freedom, But none have gotten it. Just killed and curling the Darburbs Population, when they felt it to be necessary with any and all other nightwalkers. You need to save them in the process, save yourself. For if you do nothing they will find you under whatever rock you crawled under. So set the world to a better order, Spend your lives on others and Bring the government down, But it wont be easy.

Aspects Weaknesses”

 

Big or small they all have certain Consequences, that could be fatal or not. Using an ability in the docile lowers this risk Significantly, but lowers the damage you could do to a lot of enemies. on the other hand having ravenous increases damage but heightens the risk making you a tank, but can die from over use much easier, Whilst Medial lies somewhere in between. Making Endurance you weakness.

 

Docile:Very little Repercussion, Docile banes can't Dish out very much damage. Docile banes usually favor tactic versus all out brute. Rarely pings a SDI (Supernatural Diagnostic Interface a machine used to track banes all through out the city.) For their Pk levels are to low. Docile can't die from over use but can suffer from heavy Fatigue. Putting themselves in a world of danger when it comes to fleeing or Head on fights.

 

Fire: they can feel the heat they put out, are not immune to fire. Small resistance to heat. They can still get burnt even though it is harder then that of a normal human. (Uses their Heart)

 

Earth: Using their powers they feel a tremor that grows in size the longer their abilities stay in use. Causing their bones to shake as well as their brain causing lose of consciousness. (Uses their bone)

 

Air: Has a fair struggle trying to breathe, while using their abilities They can run out of breathe and lead to passing out. (Uses their Lungs)

 

Water: Dehydration is common, But mainly Over salivation and sweating happens. The water leaves their trying hard to be used as ammunition to further the fight. (Uses their Blood)

 

Lightning: Not being able to handle the watts you dish out would Burn you out and either paralyze you, or Knock you out. Slow response is common to speech and even stimuli. (Uses their Nervous system)

 

DNA: Skin is more sensitive to light, And can cause mild burning. The body reacts something like a vampire, and can stand in the sun for short times. Shade breaks and long sleeve clothing will help take that away. (Uses Genetic Code)

 

Psyche: Nose bleeds and Sight blur, their motor function become lazy and respond slow. Forcing them into a sleep like state. (Uses Will power)

 

Medial: Have a balanced, not strong not weak. They suffer mainly when it come to endurance. One hit ko is their best strategy, Battling it out for to long can lead to fainting, Coma, Even death in the wrong conditions. Medials Have the ability To manipulate on a larger scale, but upholding that quota could lead to fatality. Pro's they can harm both Bane and non With Less of a struggle.

 

Fire:Resistant to flames, can't stand rising temperatures, Heart races as adrenaline pumps through blood.

 

Earth: Can feel pound for pound of how much they pick up in weight on their bones and can lead to fracturing and in worse case breaking bones.

 

Air: the air you use leaves you dizzy, winded, and Sluggish. Also disorientated.

 

Water: Skin starts to burn and become irritated, Blindness follows soon after. Vomiting also occurs.

 

Lightning: Muscle pain, and Cramps, Also hindered reaction time.

 

DNA: Uses vitamins, Forcing the body to hibernate, and become malnourished.

 

Psyche: Headaches and Lose of awareness. Also Hallucinations can happen similar to schizo.

 

Ravenous:The most dangerous of the categories. Constantly have to keep their powers in check. Can destroy on a large scale, But of All Can ping the SDI subsequently easier. Their powers are hard not to mask. Could end up killing themselves and others if they don't watch what they do. Ravenous A stronger than the other two but They can only do as much as you body can handle.

 

Fire: Can have a heart attack, heart can skip a beat. Fall into panic attack and Anxiety attack. Heart can become over worked.

 

Earth: Making you bones much weaker meaning defense suffers when using abilities

 

Air: Suffer Focus, Can make you fall into the same symptoms as autism.

 

Water: Severe Dehydration destroying muscle and Tissue in the body.

 

Lightning: Memory lose, And Pain Flares cause them to fall into a state of Epilepsy. 

 

DNA: Parts of their bodies with DECOMPOSE rapidly, Making their arm s or legs fall off due to tissue deterioration.

 

Psyche: Over Us Causes you to slip into a coma.

Fire: Smoke, Ash, Ember, Temperature, Inertflame (Burn calories to get a boost), Flare, Dry(Allows you to have super friction creating sparks with a snap),

 

Earth: Crush (Super strength), Crack (Finding the faults in something), Grow (Using seeds or plants can be bent to grow how you want), Tremor (Cause tremors to break something), Rock (Super defense) Erode(Making contact with the ground can erode to make sand to manipulate), Smith.

 

Air: Gust (Generate Small forces of wind), Zephyr (Small breezes that can be used to manipulate you weight), Xanthus (Control aerodynamics to make in flight objects move awry), Suction, Cloud (Change your molecular density weight wise), Bubbles (The can pack a punch like a fist), Still air (Become undetectable and even under heard)

 

Water: Mist, Svelte (Moving your body like water), Wet (Being able to slide like on ice), Dilute(Make Objects soft if only for a moment), Refraction(Causing the image of them to refracted and become like a mirage Controlling perceptions), Ripple (Moving already existent sources of water to bend to your will), Tide (Being able to move and displace kinetic Forces),

LOCATIONS:

 

Darburbs are separated between North, South, East, west, and Central. These local can be explored and you can make up the visuals as you see fit using tid bits from Our Description of the locations

 

North Darburb:

It the better area of the Darburbs, People here try to sustain a certain type of image. Being closest to North topia, they try to act as rich as possible. Sporting off anything they can buy. They will not let anyone who looks Below their standard passed the gated community, walls. Sometimes even killing for status. So this place is highly watched, by patrol squads From the Revenant Of The World. 

 

South Darburb:

Very horrible place, smelly, Trashy, Prostitutes roaming the streets. Thugs litter the many alleys. children half starved wander, with no point of interest. Mugging and killings can be heard in the distant with not far and many in between. This Place is Pretty dangerous, and the sewage pipe lines are riddled with Cannibals. At night, many kidnappings occur and if you are in this area you'd most likely get caught up in the awful storm of muck that call themselves humans.

 

West Darburb:

Allot of wild animals are here and army drills go on in this area, With experiments that leave half mutated animals and people to roam these woods. There is a cult that is actually hidden in the deep parts of the epicenter of the forest growth. Many strange and Incomprehensible Noises Distort their ways from this area be wary! 

 

East Darburb:

No one goes near the east, it is filled with the Octave's gang. The Areas that have people killing people, and many empty buildings now have drug labs but here was once a great up rising. Where a rogue bane went by himself to took on the five families,  The Ravenous Rogue Bane Was Dubbed "Ender". He failed at his attempt but many people see his legacy as the city has never been rebuilt.  

 

Central Darburb:

Con artist trying to make a quick buck off the new comers, and vending machine on every corner selling your daily dose. Lets not get started on the citizens rude and disruptive. The best thing here is that it always look sunset.

 

NorthTopia:

Richest of the rich, the capital City North topia. People her have a Superiority complex. Her the get body mods to have the anatomy be worth more then their neighbor. Even going as far as removing body parts to be replaced with gold encrusted Replicas. No one From all of Darburb goes here. Highly Secure, People who try to get in are killed for "Indecent Existent".

Tally Leveling

For this rp we have devised a way to level up if the system doesn't go well We will drop it all together.

the options that are Presented before the players, not all player need to pick the same option. Not all options will have the same difficulty level, Different difficulty levels gift higher rewards From Items to Exp And anything in between. The reward should accompany the decisions level And success Rate should Follow after a player has made a decision, Nor are the players even forced to follow the options as noted “options limit the non plot developing material.” Nor would that player gain Significant Tallies. Sometimes an option would have a Tally level in order to proceed with that option. Being a lower TL Harshly decreases your chances of success with that scenario. with that said we just want to better the rp experience. Being highly Descriptive will award a tally point. Even doing normal day by day activities Like eating and sleeping Will Award a tally point as well. Many different things award tallies and can help you get ahead in the world. one of those many Ways are Interacting with the npc and other players (Sparing, chatting, relationships, Rivalry, Saving lives, Original content, Adding to the plot.) you control the story as much has we do, and we'd like to see you Controlling npc (W/ permission) and taking a new course of action.

Personality: Light hearted, Psycho, Sarcastic, Witty, Whimsical, Not to be taken lightly, Snake like personality, Straight Forward No bull type guy. Has a soft spot but rarely shows it. easily aggravated.

Bio: Sasori grew up having to fight for most of his. With his mother life being threatened every other day "It hard sasori, with you father not around..." Sasori remembers the struggle his mother had at every turn. Till sasori gave him self to a "labour group" not caring what the job was he spent most his time there for months he was gone. Accumulating much money since these events paid well, he was able to return home. Only to find his mother was struck by a terminal illness and had no one to feed or help her so she ended up dying in her own bed from starvation. Now he trust no one with his emotions And prefers to hide inside a dense shell of sarcasm and apathy. he knows people knew her and could have help so he forgives no one.

Bio: Growing up in a small alter shrines of west Darburb, near the falls. She Was trained to keep Her skilled honed by the monks of the forest, they found her when she was just a child with her mother and father. they were taken in, and then it was found out she was a bane while under their protection. So she was put through rigorous training, to fight one day against what made her family go into hiding.

Personality: Quiet and strong-willed, even more than Seraphim Aether, Elysia Rose has few inhibitions, though her sense of justice is uncharacteristically strong for one born in such hell as South Darburb.

Bio: Born in the South Darburb, her life was almost the same as Seraphim's, though her mother was murdered by a gang for no reason other than she wasn't their type. Her father killed by them soon after, she was held by them for a year before she lost control of her Ravenous Aspect of Railgun, and slaughtered the entire gang. She escaped, and has been living as a prostitute in South Darburb ever since.

Quirk: Twirls hair in finger, constantly straightens clothes.

Personality: Somewhat like Seraphim Aether, Jeremy has a strong sense of justice and an indomitable will. He sees the good before the bad, usually...he knows when someone is beyond redemption, and will act accoedingly. He is a high ranking member of Aether's Order of a New Dawn, and commands both respect andadmiration.

Bio: Born in North Darburb with his parents, Jeremy lived a better life than most. Despite getting in trouble, along with his siblings, they mostly didn't have to worry.

Then Ellie, his twin, went missing. Then the youngest, Rika. With his brother Seth, Jeremy left the North Darburb to hunt down his missing siblings. Jeremy and Seth tore through the East and West Darbubs, slaughtering cultists and gang members in their quest. But they were too late.

Ellie had been killed. Her body burned beyond recognition by a Fire Bane, Jeremy was about to go berserk when the military arrived.

Jeremy would have been captured or killed...but Seth held them off. Using his ravenous ability of Nuclear Energy in a most reckless way, he held the entire military detachment off st rhe cost of his own life, as they had found one other thing

Proof Rika was alive.

Escaping, knowing that he had to make the best out of Seth's sacrifice, Jeremy ran. He ran and ran, until he collapsed in an unknown part of the Darburbs.

When he awoke, he was greeted by Seraphim Aether of the Order.

That was two years ago. Now he helps leads the Order, and has little mercy left within him. He lost everything within days. He wasn't going to lose anyone ever again.

Quirk: Rubs back of head, rolls shoulders. Tends to mess with his katanas when agitated

Name: Dex Carter

 

Age: 25

 

Gender: Male

 

Personallity: Sarcastic, witty, sometimes disrespectful, easy to please but also easy to anger, almost assassin like disposition when confronting others, smart, knows how to get stuff done when needs to, controlled to an extent, but overusage of power can make him lose it a bit.

 

Bio: Dex was from a family which succesfully went from south darburb to the north darburb, only problem was, it was with several shaddy deals, bound to backfire, he lived a normal life until he became 9 in which, some gang members of the east darburb came to greet them, wanting payment for the help they gave them, his father being an Ex-member of the gang, they offered a secondary form of payment, due to the fact they had no money to pay their debts.

 

The request was their firstborn son to be given to them and raised with them, as a member...or as a slave, and such, Dex, 9 years old was taken to the gangs hideout and his life became an utter hell for a few years, in which he was forced for hard labor for the gang, and several training classes, in which he'd get his utter shit beaten out of him, he learned how to fight due to that, and things immediately looked up as they found out he was a Bane when he became 15, an aspect the members dubbed as "void" or simply "matter", which gave him a lot of respect within the gang, and finally the respect he deserved, spending a long time within the gang afterwards.

 

 

However Dex never lost his heart, he was still kind to his friends and gang members, almost as if forgetting the past abuses he suffered, however he most often than not, stop them from mindless killing a few times, he hates unecessary blodshed.

 

However, when he loses his temper and control over his aspect, he takes a wide shift in personality from a kind hearted and relatively serious person, he becomes a sadist psycopath, with no regards to the lives of his enemy.

 

He has been taking constant strolls into south darburb and into the north, he hates the ones from northtopia with a passion and would likely attack them on sight in the off chance they decided to do a "stress slaying" event.

 

(Octaves gang member ;) )

 

Quirk: Clenches his fists often, even when not doing anything, can be seen staring off into the distance often, loves fighting.

 

Bane aspect: "Void" or "Matter".

 

Aspect description:

 

 

Dex's aspect is the ability to manipulate both living matter and dead matter, creating as well as destroying the very fabric of existence of whatever he touches, or whatever is hit by his short arsenal of ranged attacks, he can rematerialize his body as well as de-materialize himself for a quick means of evasion, this allows him to control gravity to an extent as well, he can drain life force from enemies as well by draining their living matter.

 

Side effects:

 

Docile: Quick to suffer migraines, and pain on his body sometimes from usage, as getting cuts and bruises and having to replace his damaged matter with new, intact matter.

 

Medium: Part of his body can de-materialize accidentally, causing him to have to put it back together before notice, slightly protected due to the fact his clothing protects his visual.

 

Ravenous: His body flashes in and out of existence, almost as if he would simply disappear in an instant, this takes great strain on him as he has to keep his entire body from collapsing and vanishing.

Docile: Short term matter manipulation (Can de-materialize small objects, and weakened enemies) Drain living matter to regain his own vitality, control short term gravity in an area, short distance teleport (Blink) in the way of dematerialization, Purge of diseased matter (or cells causing diseases), can replace his own matter if damaged, creating undamaged matter in a way of healing.

 

Medium: Further increase in his abilities, he can disintegrate much bigger and stronger matter than before, control gravity around him, slowing down enemies, matter break. Obliteration, can de-materialize for longer and travel faster as a result.

 

Ravenous: Constant de-materialization, easily becoming intangible, can disintegrate almost any matter short of other bane aspect users, can create small black holes, as well as boosting his other abilities. Purge, increasingly unstable power.

Personality:  Just, quick-witted, intelligent, quick, cautious, not likable, is excellent at reading others, intuitive in the sense that he relies on his abilities and reacts on those readings, a little lonely

 

Bio: Born in Central Darburb, and quickly orphaned when his parents fell through on a loan they had taken from Octave's gang. They aren't particularly forgiving. He was forced to raise himself, becoming an adept thief, con artist, and fighter, even from a young age. But he always aspired for more. He loved learning and puzzles. He was intelligent and logical. He refused to stay like this. So, he aimed for something within his reach. Becoming a detective. Once he was old enough, and had made enough honest money, he moved to North Darburb. And he entered the Police Academy. At this point, he had awakened his Aspect (which was going to be very helpful in the career he was pursuing), but kept it secret. He made it into the Police Force. Unfortunately, he immediately realized the corruption prevalent in the higher society he had entered. But what could he do? Not much. He could only work on things that might help this world get a little bit better, a little bit at a time. A year after he became a police officer he passed the detective test and became a full detective. He works on what he can, and never lets himself fall as low as becoming corrupt like almost every officer in the station.

 

Quirk: He sighs a lot, drinks a lot of coffee, tends to eat mints when stressed

 

Bane Aspect: Hyper Perception and Reaction, a medial aspect under the DNA category (basing this off the fact that Heightened Senses and Muscle Memory are under that category and this is pretty similar). A passive aspect, Caesar perceives things much faster and better than normal people, in other words, he connects the dots between what he senses and what it means faster than normal. Of course, such an ability would be useless in a fight if he did not have the hyper fast reaction speed to go with it. So, for example, when in a fight and he sees the motion of a right hook starting, he understands what is coming and counters it with a right parry faster than a normal person. Or when on a case and he sees a piece of evidence or hears a suspect say something he understands everything it means in context with what is going on and previous knowledge.

Personality: Focused, Light-Hearted, has a good sense of humour, highly just, holds a strong hatred for Tyranny and Dictators, unrelenting, extroverted, outgoing, has a problem with authority, devoted to his friends. 

Bio: Born in North Darburb, Amaranth did not live as hard of a life as those in the lower Darburbs but he lived with a constant sympathy and pity for them as they struggled to even feed themselves, especially in the South Darburb. He grew, even as a young child, to hate the Dictatorship in charge of everything that caused these people to suffer in the first place. Soon enough, his somewhat simple life turned completely on its head when his Father was murdered for some twisted Status by a rival Family, known as the "Wayne's" who had been at his family's throats since, well, before anyone could remember. A Feud gone too far. He got angry, consumed with rage at both the Feuding Family and the Government for allowing this to happen. This anger revealed his status as a Bane, unlocking a Ravenous Aspect: Inferno, which he used to end the entire Wayne Family Line, burning them and their House to the ground. Having taken vengeance for his Father's death on one of the causes, he has since calmed down, allowing his positive traits from before to resurface while his Rage became a calmer, inner hate. Waiting to be unleashed once more. He continues to live in North Darburb to this day, but seeks to adventure, maybe even end the Tyranny. But even he knows he cannot do it alone.

Quirks: Often rolls coins on his knuckles, stretches often, folds arms when talking but low down as to not look defensive, when not doing the latter he emotes with many arm/hand gestures and strong body language.

Personality: Shy, quiet, never wants to be seen

Bio: When he was born his parents left him because they couldn't keep up with payments, so before Shane found out his last name he was left alone. Soon a family in the South Darburb found him and taught him how to fend for himself. As he grew up he started to have trouble breathing, and noticed that people aren't noticing him. After a few years he found out that there were people just like him with some sort of power, and as he used it more and more he found out that he had a huge problem with it... If he used his power to much he would pass out, so he knew that it was best to keep it under rap.
