What will be shown at D23 regarding KH3?

 A story trailer would be awesome! Perhaps they could place the release date at the end of it too to further intensify hype.

It's funny. They had a release date in mind about two months ago, so it should be finalised by now and ready to be heard of by the community. Square Enix know that people desperately want the release date for Kingdom Hearts 3 and not to mention they are fully aware that selling both Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3 close together in the hear could only be a good thing; both are extremely popular franchises (FF in particular) and by selling them close together can only result in high profits. They know how horrible it is that they've kept people waiting this long too! I feel as though we will see a release date very soon.

Nomura said that they will show off assets that they did not get to show off at E3 so most likely new worlds, new character models, new keyblades, and new story elements. I expect a 5 minute trailer showcasing all of these things and more "surprise" announcements

i think it could stand being in the same year, but selling them close together is not smart. Casuals aren't gonna wanna drop 120$, so they would have to choose. Expect an early 2016 for FF, and late for Kh.
