Sora96

The most amazing trailer in Square Enix history

Recommended Posts

first off

that's a lot of spoilers, why even play the game when they just showed everything

second off

way to showcase a bunch of the worst dialog, Square, and apparently you actively tried to fit in as many made up words as possible just so anybody seeing this will have no idea what anybody is talking about

third

this is the best trailer:

(it's at the start of the video)

Nope....not even remotely close for multiple reasons

1The lazily slapped licensed Song by Leona Lewis and they didn't even bother to ask her to sing an original song for the game. The song "My Hand" is from one of her albums which explain why she was flagging any let's play of the game with Content ID claims back in 2010 and 2011

2The trailer is stupidly full of spoilers that you might as well have seen  50% of the game before even playing it if you've been keeping up with it's marketing campaign

3Compared to some other FF trailers and the colorful presentation for the Kingdom Heart series trailers, this is really lackluster in comparison

I'd say it's one of the most forgettable trailers by Square Enix

The Most Amazing Trailer in Square Enix History... in Sora96's opinion, which is fine.Final Fantasy XIII has a lot of great things going for it, but this trailer isn't one of them. There was nothing wrong with anything in the trailer itself, but it was kind of generic. I don't see how it would convince new players to play the game, which is the point of trailers.

They showed even more spoilers for Type-0 HD. Lol.

To be honest FFXV trailers are better than that, but FFVII remake trailer is number 1. I still like that tech demo trailer they had about that red witch girl, if only that was a real game.

Tech demo girl just a tech demo mascot. Tabata too busy with XV and Type-series to deal with that.

XIII as any other game other than an FF game would have been a decent game. As an FF game it doesn't work. The cast was forgettable, you couldn't really play around with party structure, it was a hallway simulator which was a new standard set in ff10, the music didn't resonate like ff 1-12 did, the gameplay was hit something until it's staggered then you can start dealing damage. Honestly felt like a completely new series because the staples of an ff game just weren't there.

Damn...watching this trailer gave me nostalgia!  Final Fantasy XIII was such a great game, and it had an amazing story!  And the game was also very challenging!  I think that Cid Raines and Galenth Dysley were among my favorite characters in the game!  Ah, memories! :')
