Microsoft Accuses Sony of Buying Third Party Exclusives

Recommended Posts

Eh buying 3rd party exclusives isn't anything new to the industry,it's been there since the SNESGenesis days and it,alongside first party exclusives, are what makes you unique from the competition

As for the "accusation" well it really depends on if said 3rd party company approached you before you do,for example

Street Fighter V and Bayonetta 2 are two unique cases where the games would either never be made(Bayonetta 2) or would take an eternity to muster the budget for it(Street Fighter V),without funds from a huge publisher like Sony and Nintendo so really it's not always companies stealing exclusives from each other

I love how these things get framed. It was far from an "accusation", he was explaining the process. It's scummy when anybody does it, but to them it's just business.

Wow that's hilarious. looks like Microsft is hating on Sony for having better exclusives lol.

Even though, y'know, the full interview is way more in-depth, less cherry-picked, and actually has Spencer praising the Sony lineup.I've no particular love for Microsoft, but these reactions just make everybody look bad.

Well, talk about sunset overdrive, titanfall, dead rising 3 and rise of the tomb raider LMFAO. Not to forget recore and scalebound

Oh, I can hear the raging Microsoft fanboys already! Better get my popcorn.

Why is Microsoft complaining? They purchased one of the biggest online game ever (don't quote me on that.)

C'mon, Microsoft. You were in the clear! After Konami and EA before them, you weren't even a blip on my radar, really! Now you're stirring trouble again...
