Taking place 6 months after the recent events of Pixels, teenagers of different ages with pixelated creatures they call "Pixel Buddies" are brought into a chaotic event. Because of a Pixel blocked being left behind after the invasion and was brought into an arcade building thanks to one of the kids, arcade games from all around have come to life and have started to invade! Now it's up to the kids and Pixel Buddies to end this once and for all!-Chris and Donkey Kong Junior-"Aww, you beat me again!" Chris said, playing Super Smash Bros. for 3DS against his Pixel Buddy, Donkey Kong Jr. who was laughing because he won. They were sitting on the sidewalk in front of their home, which was a short 2-Story house. On the game, DK Jr. had beat Chris's Luigi with his Donkey Kong. "Yay! Papa wins!" Donkey Kong Jr. yelled out, beating his chest. "Hey, careful with that 3DS Junior. We only have that other one." Chris said, then chuckled and shook his head making his short brown hair fly through the air a little. He didn't mind DK Junior winning. He was just a pixelated monkey who is the son of an Ape who climbed all the way to the top of a building carrying a woman and then got captured by that woman's boyfriend, but was saved and then broke into a greenhouse releasing all types of bugs.....Yeah. He's Donkey Kong's son alright. Chris was actually glad to have a buddy like him. He put his hands on his knees and then got up. "Come on, DK Junior. Let's get ready so we can get to the arcade with the others." The 15 year old said, closing his 3DS and walking back to the house. "Okay!" Junior eagerly said. The little strong monkey wearing a undershirt with the letter "J" on it ran up to catch up to Chris.-Tyler and Roll-Tyler, a black, athletic, 14 1/2 year old was just laying on his couch reading a magazine on the latest in celebrity news. It was rare because....Well....He never did that! Probably because he was bored at the moment. During his reading, the blonde, robotic, pixelated girl named Roll was just sweeping the floor with her broom, humming happily. She would do this kind of thing all the time because she really likes to clean! A lot! She was smiling and sweeping until her broom hit the couch. She tapped Tyler on the shoulder. "Tyler? Could you get off the couch for a moment?" She asked."Why?" Tyler said, still reading. "Because I need to clean under there! Please?" Roll asked nicely. "But I don't want to leave! This couch is comfy. And there is nothing you can say that will make me move!" Tyler stated,turning the page. Roll took a deep breath. "Okay. Have it your way." She said. She calmly walked away. Then after moments, came back with a vacuum cleaner, came behind the couch, and just lifted the couch with her one hand! Tyler finally stopped reading and looked down. "Roll! Wh-What are you doing?""It's a win-win! You get to stay on the couch and I get to clean under here!" She said, turning on the vacuum cleaner, still holding the couch with one hand. "And how long is this going to be?" Tyler yelled over the vacuum's noise. "Ohh...About a while!" She replied yelling. Tyler laid back on couch, worried. But this was just the only pet peeve he had against living with Roll. She will clean anything immediately, even him!....But that's another story. He didn't expect that when he touched the Q-Bert kid with that Mega Man cartridge, it would transform into Roll. At first, he was pleased with. But slowly started to get annoyed, but not too annoying. She was more like a sister than a Pixel Buddy.

-Benjamin and Sonic-

Right in front of Chris' house a blur of blue ran by, causing wind to blow flowers and other small objects in different directions. The blur came back, only to rocket right into Chris' house. It knocked some picture frames off of the walls in the process before speeding into the kitchen, then the bathroom. It went back and forth before stopping right into the kitchen once more. It began to look through he drawers and cabinets as if it was looking for something. It was a small blue hedgehog with a round belly. He wasn't even paying attention to Chris or Junior, let alone even noticing they were there. "..." The shuffling of the items in the drawers grew even louder as he searched in vain.

-Chris and Donkey Kong Jr.-

 

Chris and DK Junior were just in Chris's bedroom when they felt a familiar blast of wind going by, then felt it all around the house. "Junior....I think a friend came at a fast paced visit." Chris said before running into the kitchen where he could hear the clatter of silverware and the opening and closing of drawers and there he was. "Well, if it isn't the Blue Blur himself! Sonic the Hedgehog, classic version of course. So what you here, blue buddy? Looking for something?" Chris asked as DK Junior was making next to Chris.

 

(Your second character wouldn't happen to be a girl, would it. Cause I feel like we need female representation from the kids! )

-Sonic-

Sonic was still speeding back and fourth before stopping right in front of Chris when he called for his attention. Sonic looked very pleased at this before be spun in circles around the two. After that he sped right back into the bathroom and looked through whatever drawers and cabinets he could find. He emerged right out with a small box of band-aids and frowned. Sonic began to tug at Chris' shirt frantically trying to take him somewhere. "...!"

-Chris and Donkey Kong Junior-

"Okay! Okay, little pal! What is it? Is it about Ben?" Chris asked, kneeling down to try to understand what Sonic was trying to say. Chris was getting used to Sonic's way of "speaking", even though he somehow couldn't. "I think he needs us to go somewhere, Chris." Donkey Kong Jr. said. Junior could understand Sonic very well since he was a Pixel Buddy. "Okay. Where to Sonic?" Chris asked, giving full attention.

(Chris knows Ben?)

-Sonic-

Sonic nodded quickly. He zoomed out of the house before returning not a moment later when he realized that Chris and Junior couldn't run at his speed. Due to this, Sonic just settled to tugging at Chris along quickly to where Sonic needed to go.

After about a half an hour of running, Sonic led Chris and Junior into a forest on the outskirts of town. It was where many little kids would play. On one of the rocks in the forest was a little boy around ten years old crying. He had scruffy brown hair and brown eyes. He also wore a long brown sweater despite it being summertime along with a matching scarf. His grey shorts were pulled up to reveal a deep cut bleeding from his left knee. It must've gotten cut while he was playing. The boy looked up to Sonic when he arrived and smiled and said something in sign language.

(My original plan was for the kids to all know each other and hang out. But for your "secret addition", that kid can be new to the group.)

 

Chris bent down and panted after running so much. He then stood up straight to take a look at where he was. Then he noticed that Ben was injured. "Ohh..." Chris walked to Ben and kneeled down with Donkey Kong Junior just arriving, swing on the branches of the trees and landing down.

"Hey Ben. You okay?" Chris asked.

Benjamin wiped his tears away sloppily with his sleeves. He looked down to the cut on his knee then nodded slowly in response to Chris' answer. He reached into his pocket to take out a notepad and pen and wrote down some words before he showed it to Chris.

'It really hurts...' It read. 'I was playing with Sonic and I fell on a rock. My papa is going to be so mad at me when he finds out I was playing in the forest again...'

Sonic frowned sadly and began to look through the box. He couldn't find a single band-aid big enough to cover the cut.

Chris read it carefully and looked up to Benjamin. He really felt bad for Ben. He sighed. And when he saw that not a single Band-Aid could fit on Ben's cut, it made him feel worse. Then an idea popped into his head. His expression slight enlightened. "Don't worry, Ben. I know one person that would be more than happy to help." He said, pulling out his phone and dialing a number.

 

-Tyler and Roll-

 

In Tyler's house, the house phone rang on the small table next to the couch. Still vacuuming and holding the couch while noticing the phone ringing, Roll stopped vacuuming and reached for the phone, still holding the couch with one hand no problems.

"Hello?" She answered.

"Roll? It's me, Chris."

"Oh, hi Chris!"

"Listen. Little Ben got a cut on his knee in the forest and-"

"You need my help?" She said rather excited.

"Well, yeah actual-"

"Stay right there! I'll be there in a few!" And then Roll hung up. "YIPPIE!" She stepped out from under the couch and gently put the couch down after moving the vacuum out. Roll ran to the bathroom, joyous even. Roll loved to help people, especially with medical help. She dreams of helping at a hospital, making people feel better. She opened the mirror cabinet, got a box of band aids and came out. "I'll be back in a few! Bye!" Roll said, already going the door. And Tyler sighed with relief and put his hands together in a praying matter and mouthed, 'thank you'.

-Roll-

After some time, Roll had just made it to the forest riding on her, where she found the others. "Hey guys!" Roll got off her bike and skipped along to Ben, looking at his cut. "Oh my. How did this happen?" She asked.

Ben signed softly and looked down at his cut. He began to write down on his notepad once more. He was very happy to have Roll here. He enjoyed Roll's company and thought of her as his very close friend.

'I was playing with Sonic and I fell on a rock.' His notepad wrote before he pointed to a rock nearby. There was some blood on it, indicating that it had cut his knee.

Sonic meanwhile nodded. He poured and spun around the rock that had cut his best friend, before grumpily kicking it. After that he held his toe and jumped around frantically. The kick hurt.

"Oh dear..." She said reading the note. She walked back to her bicycle to get a first aid kit out of its basket in front. Roll walked back to treat Ben. She kneeled down and opened the kit and got out some alcohol. Before using it, she told Ben in sign language, "This might sting a little", then used it on Ben's cut, cleaning it. She then reached back into the kit and got out a box of band-aids, pulled out one that was big enough for the cut, and placed it on Ben's cut. "You'll be fine." She said out loud and in sign language, then kissed Ben's forehead and smiled. Roll got up and looked back at Chris, DK Junior, and Sonic. "Don't worry. He'll be fine now." She said smiling. "Thanks Roll." Chris said.

"Don't mention it! See you later!" Roll said before running back to her bicycle, waving good-bye, and "Rolled away". (GET IT!? )

Ben looked down as Roll began to work on his cut. At first he flinched due to the large sting from the alcohol with tears once again forming in his eyes. However after it was all over and Roll gave him the kiss it didn't hurt so badly anymore. Ben watched as she left and looked up to Chris.

"Thank you..." He mouthed.

Sonic spun circles around Roll in joy after she helped his very best buddy. He waved to her as she left to only spin circles around Chris and everyone once more. Finally he jumped right in the rock Ben was sitting on to give him a big hug.

-Chris and Donkey Kong Junior-

 

Chris nodded and mouthed back "No problem." He looked to the direction Roll left. "That's Roll. Always willing to help in anyway. Heh!" Then he looked around. "Umm....Where's Junior?" He said. Looking to his right, he saw that Junior was on a branch, playing with the other little kids. He swung on it, flipped, and landed on the branch and beat his chest, with the children below copying him, making monkey noises.

"Monkey Muscle!" Junior said before making monkey noises as well. Chris simply chuckled at the scene, putting his hands in his pockets.

"I bet Junior feels right at home right now. His home." Chris said, then looked back at Ben. "You can still walk fine, right little buddy?"

Benjamin watched as Junior played with the kids. It made him smile knowing that he had such great friends to play with. Before he had met Sonic, or even moved to the town not too long ago he had no friends. Many bullied him, or just couldn't understand him at all. At first he didn't mind just being by himself, but after meeting Sonic and everyone Ben realized how terrible it was to be alone. He looked up to Chris and nodded, standing up right on his feet. The cut still hurt, but he could deal with it.

'I don't know what I'm going to tell my daddy...' He wrote. His father always stressed how dangerous it was to go to the forest especially since Benjamin was deaf.

Sonic stood right next to Ben, making sure he was okay to walk. He read the note and tapped his foot in annoyance. Benjamin's parents never let them have any fun.

"Hmm...." Chris thought about this. He never really knew Ben's parents too well. And the fact that Ben was worried about telling his father about this made things worse. Then he made the decision. He carefully mouthed the words and spoke out loud so Ben could understand. "Tell you what Ben. How about me and Junior go with you? Maybe we could help out." Chris was very generous like that. Always willing to stick with his friends no matter what. But if this was a bit too personal, then Chris would respect that and hope for the best.

Ben nodded and looked down with a sign. Hopefully if his father saw his friends with him maybe he wouldn't be so mad. Maybe he wouldn't even ground him for it. Slowly, Ben took Chris' hand and led him to his house. Sonic followed right behind with his arms still crossed.

Once they for to Benjamin's house, Ben knocked right on the door. A rather youngish man with pale brown hair answered.

"Benjamin!" He said and signed at the same time. He instantly saw be cut on his knee. "What happened to you? Did you go into the forest to play again?" The man looked to Chris. "You're that boy who helps my son a lot... Thank you. And I see you have one of those pixel friends..."

"Yes sir. My name's Chris and this is Donkey Kong Jr." Chris said politely, giving a firm handshake. When Junior gave Ben's dad a handshake, it was....Very firm. "Okay, okay, little pal. I think that's firm enough. Heh heh!" DK Jr. nodded and let go. "Sorry. Sometimes I forget my own strengths." Junior said, rubbing the back of his head.

The father smiled and returned the handshakes. It was good to know his son had some other kids who looked out for him.

"It's nice to meet you both. My name is Burt. I hope Ben hasn't been causing you any trouble... Or going into the forest. Is that how he got hurt?"

Benjamin signed softly and looked down. Looks like he wasn't going to leave his room anytime soon.

Sonic meanwhile stood next to the father and pouted. Grown-ups ruined all the fun.

Chris was a bit worried in this situation. He had the option to lie, but that NEVER works. And he couldn't just say nothing. That would pretty much ruin the point of coming here. So he had to speak. But what?....Maybe this.

"Well...Yes it's true, but he was just trying to have fun. I mean, it's like his happy place. And he's got us to look out for him. And I have to say, Sonic's the one who rushed to us when Ben needed us the most! He's like a brother to him." Chris took a breath. He was trying not to go too far or cause any disrespect. "I know for sure that you want to keep Ben safe and I don't mean to disrespect that. All I'm trying to say is that go easy on him. Over there, it's fun to him." Chris meant every word he said. When Chris defends a friend or relative, he will defend. But then Junior jumped on top of Chris's head. "Plus, Ben has us friends to look out for him!" DK Junior said happily without a thought.

(I didn't. I've been busy these past few days. If I don't post it's because I haven't been able to.)

Burt couldn't help but get very upset for a split second at the fact that Benjamin went into the forest again. However after Chris' explanation and the look he saw in his son's eyes Burt couldn't help but forget his anger. He looked down at Sonic, and then back at his son. Burt signed.

"You really like playing in that forest don't you?" He asked, signing to his son as well.

Benjamin looked down and nodded.

Burt smiled softly and ruffled Ben's head. "Welp, if your mother was home from work right now I'm pretty sure she'd be okay with it. She was always trying to convince me to let you play in the forest... I'll let you play there. As long as Sonic or Chris is with you."

Sonic couldn't help but jump up in excitement. Forest time it is! He zoomed around Burt in happiness. "~~!"

Junior happily jumped around Ben, celebrating as well for his now earned privilege to go to the Forest and play as long as somebody's there to watch him. Chris sighed in relief. That went better than expected, he thought and smiled. At first, he didn't think that would work at all, but the results turned out to be a success. Ben now can go back to Forest. That made Chris very happy.

 

-Tyler and Roll-

 

"I'm back!" Roll announced coming into the house off her bike. But Tyler quickly got off the couch once she got back, not wanting to be up in the air again. "Okay! I got off this time!" He quickly said, but Roll giggled. "Oh, don't worry. I'm done with that part. In fact, I'm done cleaning all together for today." She said, walking past the couch, but right before she could go into another room, she smelled something once she past by. Something bad. Roll covered her nose. "Correction. I think I found one more thing that needs to be cleaned." She said. And as she walked towards Tyler, the smell got stronger and stronger. There was no doubt about it. "And it's coming from you."

"Me? Why-" A sudden thought went into Tyler's mind. Not again. Not this. He took a few steps back. "Oh no....Roll, please don't. Please don't do it. I'm begging you!"

Roll walked closer to Tyler as he was stepping back. "But you've gotta!" She said.

"Please don't..."

"Come on Tyler...It'll be done sooner." Roll said in a sing-song voice. And in split second, Tyler ran, then Roll ran, and the chase began. "There is no way I'm letting you wash me again!" He yelled while running.

"Then maybe you should take baths more often!" Roll yelled back as she chased Tyler all around the house. Tyler and Roll went from room to room, to the kitchen, to the bedroom with a few jumps on the bed, then back to the living room! Tyler jumped over the couch and ran into the bathroom without. He panted and then sighed in relief. He looked safe until....."Ahem" A sudden sound of a door closing and being locked was heard. Roll had cornered him in the bathroom.

"Oh man...." Tyler said.

Burt rubbed the back of his head. He wasn't used to all of the attention. With a small smile he set his son right back down.

"Alright... I'll let you get back to your playing then. Make sure you stay near Chris and Sonic alright? Keep your phone on and text me if anything. I'll be right here. And I'll expect you home before it gets dark." He said sternly while signing.

Benjamin quickly signed a few words back, wanting to get back to his playing as soon as possible. As soon as his father closed the door however Benjamin suddenly threw his arms around Chris in gratitude. He was finally able to play in the forest!

Sonic grinned and gave Chris a hug as well but on the leg. He was going to play in the forest with Ben regardless since he never listened to adults, but at least he could do it now without fear of being grounded. "~!"

Chris couldn't help but smile and hug Ben and Sonic back. Junior joined in as well, but lifted them all up with a big, tight hug. "Okay Junior! Put us down." Chris strained to say. Junior did as he was told to put them back down. It was kinda tricky when you're a monkey with really strong hands. Chris kneeled down facing Ben. "Well, now you're free to go play in the forest! What do you say we go back there, huh?" He asked.

Junior quickly nodded to the question. To him, the forest was like a jungle where he could swing and run and just be a monkey!

Benjamin squirmed in the hug. But as soon as he was let down he nodded quickly. To the forest it is! He couldn't wait to get back to digging in the dirt. One of his favorite things to do in the forest was to find lizards, dig for worms, and make little wood forts.

Sonic meanwhile was very excited to leave. He was so enthusiastic he couldn't even contain his excitement. Be zoomed around Chris, wanting him to get going already.
