Plot: An exchange student ends up getting transferred to a new school, but its not an ordinary school, this school is meant for monsters such as Vampires, Werewolfs, Hybrids, ect. He ends up befriending a vampire names Ava when she saves his life from another monster that is trying to kill him.

Likes: Humans, bats, soft music, reading

Dislikes: Werewolfs, vampire hunters, negative people

Personality: Ava is a very sweet girl and always likes making her friends. She can be shy at times but is mostly outgoing.

 

 

Bio: Ava was born in a mansion on top of a mountain with her mother, father, three brothers and two sisters. They lived far away from the humans out of fear that they would try and kill them, even though they caused little trouble for the humans. When Ava turned 14 her parents shipped her to a high school for monsters called Rivermouth Academy. The school is meant to help monster be able to control their true forms and eventually let them be able to live among humans.

Description: Akio is your average everyday highschool student. He likes to read manga and play video games with his friend on his spare time. He wasn't that popular with the girls.

*Hi, I'm Akio Toshusai, I'm 18 years old and I'm about to attend Rivermouth Academy. I got this mysterious letter in the mail one day after my parents told me that we were moving out of the city. I was kinda surprised. The letter said that the school was that far away from here so my parents decided not to move anymore. Apparetly, Rivermouth Academy was a popular school but very few people ever get enrolled to it.

I decided to take the bus to go to Rivermouth. Strangely enough, I was the only person on the bus to Rivermouth Academy.

About 20 minutes I've arrived at the bus stop before Rivermouth. Strange, the sky has a kind of pink tint to it and the trees look dead...*

Well then, I guess I'm here!

It was late in the day and most of the classes were done at this time. A lot of the students walked around the court years and were inside relaxing after a long day of class. The young vampire Ava was walking down a dirt path that led a little ways away from the school. She liked to spend her time there, it was a nice place to sit and read. She looked down the road seeing the buss go though the tunnel. "A new student?" She thought to herself as the soft breez blew though her hair and moved her skirt a little.

 

It had been a while since that had been any new students that had enrolled into the school. A smile came to Ava's face as she ran back towards the school, wondering who the new student was. She was more than happy to make friends with them and show them around. Once she made it back to the school she took a moment to catch her breath before walking into the crowd of people that were waiting for the new student to get out of the bus.

 

Once of the facility member were yelling and trying to get people out of the way so the new student could easily get out of the bus. It was her job to take new students to the office to get them there dorm room key, there schedule, and also tell them the rules.

"So, where do I go?" Akio said to himself, "I guess I follow this path."

*Woah, I'm getting a weird vibe here* Akio thought while walking the path with trees covering the sky. He can barely see the clouds with the trees in the way.

"Wow, lots of shade. Pretty cool."

As Akio walked, the school in the distance grew closer and closer. The top of the school was soon in the sight of Akio. Rivermouth Academy. He's finally here.

There was a break in the forest ahead. Akio ran at full speed all the way to the end. "I made it! I'm here!" Akio said while running out of breath.

He stops outside of the forest, Akio's eyes widen with awe. His life is about to begin anew!

"Well, here I am!"

The facility member walked over to him and gave a kind smile. "Welcome to Rivermouth Academy" She said in a kind voice as other students looked at him. Something about this guy was very off to them, but they couldn't figure it out. "Please follow me, I will show you to the office and explain there rules of the academy" She said starting to walk towards the entrance of the school.

 

Ava was pushing though people as she was trying to get a good look at the new student. She stumbled out of the crowd and bumped into him as she looked up and blushed a little. "Ah- Sorry!" She said stumbling back and rubbing the back of her head. Her nose twitched a little as she got the sweet sent of his blood. "Oh wow....he smells amazing!" She thought to herself before blushing more releasing that everyone was looking at her. "Uhh...I-Ill see you around!" She said out of nervousness and took off back though the crowd of people.

"My...bad," Akio tried to say to the girl before she ran off.

*Wow... she was kinda cute* Akio thought and he blushed a little. Akio continued to follow the faculty member through the school until they reached the Faculty Office. During the walk, Akio felt many eyes were on him, like he was an outcast. Inside the office, she explained the rules of the school, where his homeroom is, and where the dorms are. "So, do you have any questions?" the faculty member asked Akio. "Yeah actually," Akio responded "Who was that girl that bumped into me?" She chuckled. "That was Ava Dawn. She's quite well known here."

*She's gotta be popular!*

"If you don't have any more questions," the faculty member said, "then please head to your homeroom. We'll handle your bags and luggage." "Yes, ma'am!" Akio bows, leaves the office and heads to his homeroom.

The rules of the school was pretty simple, no one was to revile thai true forms or they would be suspended and also if a boy was to be found in the girls they would be expelled. The faculty member answer his question with, "She is just another student that attends the school." With that she pushed him along for him to go to the dorms and find his room so he could get settled in.

 

Ava was quite popular in the school, she was known to be the prettiest girl in the school. Ava herself was not a big fan of being that popular, she would always have men trying to get with her and follow her around to classes. 

 

The young vampire made her way back to her own dorm as she closed the door behind her and leaned against it, her face was now a bright red. "His bloods smelt so good!" She thought to herself again before leaning off the door and going over to her bed and laying down on it. "Maybe I will have a class with him" She said in a giggly tone before getting up and going to change into her pajamas. It was getting late and she wanted to be well rested for tomorrows classes.

*Okay, I now know where my homeroom is! It looks like it's getting late, I better be heading back towards the dorms.*

While heading back to the dorms, what the faculty member said kinda bothered him: "No one was to reveal their true form". "I wonder what that suppose to mean. What a weird rule." Akio said to himself and laughed it off.

Akio finally arrived at his room. All his stuff was there. He looks at the clock in his room. "Ehh, I have enough time." Akio pulls out his NextStation 4 and the game Kingdom of Hearts 3. "I'll play for about an hour or 2, then I'll hit the hay!" And so Akio played his game...but a little longer than he has expected...

Ava hopped into bed, now dressed into her white night gown as she lied down onto the bed, her hands folded and now resting on her chest. It was always hard for her to fall asleep since she was a vampire and they slept though most of the day. She glanced around her room a little before she let out a little sigh. "Come on Ava you can sleep..." She mumbled to herself as she closed her eyes. It took her about an hour till she fell asleep.

 

Once morning came Ava's alarm went off with a loud beeping sound. The young vampire let out a small squeal as she jumped a little. "Morning already?" She mumbled to herself as she rubbed her eyes and let out a yawn as she stretched. She moved her hand over to her alarm and pressed the button so it would turn off. Ava forced herself out of bed and into the bathroom so she could take a morning shower to help wake her up. Once she was done with her shower she got out, dried herself off and put on her school uniform along with putting her long white hair up in a messy bun. She looked over at the clock before her eyes went wide. "Im going to be late!" She said grabbing her beg and putting her shoes on before running out of her dorm and words the school so she wouldn't be late for home room.

Passed out on the bed, controller in one hand, TV on with "Game Over" on the screen. Akio spent the whole night gaming.

*BZZZZZ BZZZZZ* The sound of Akio's alarm went off and his eyes popped open. "AHHHHH!!! Oh no, I'm going to be late! And on my first day too?!" Akio hurried up, got dressed, grabbed his bag, with a piece a toast in his mouth and ran out the door!

"Excuse me! Pardon me! Coming through!" Akio said while quickly running in between students through the halls of Rivermouth Academy trying to reach his homeroom!

With less than 5 minutes left before the bell, Akio reached the classroom. "Whew, I-I made it..." Akio said while trying to catch his breath, "I better go take my seat then..."

Akio then proceeds to take his seat in the back when the bell rang.

Ava had mede it to home room with a few minutes to spare. Her seat was in the front of the class, since she was one of the top students in her class and she loved to learn new things, hoping that one day she herself could live among the humans. She looked over towards the door as the bell rang seeing the boy from before as she blushed and looked away, some of her white hair falling into her face. ​"He's in the same home room as me?" She thought to herself before a small smile came to her lips. She didn't know why but she felt drawn to him, not just form the net of his blood though. Ava looked up once the teacher stood form her desk. "Alright class" He stated off, "We have a new student today" He said scanning the room and sporting him. "Akio, would you mind standing up and introducing yourself to the class?"

"Oh, okay." Akio stood up and walked up to the front of the class. "Hello, I'm Akio Toshusai! It's nice to meet you and I hope we all get along" And Akio bowed. After he bowed, Akio scanned the room. New faces everywhere except one: the girl who bumped into him when he first came to this school, Ava.

*Woah! Ava's in the same homeroom as me?! That's awesome!* Akio blushed a little..

"Okay, Akio, you can take your seat." said the teacher. And Akio did what the teacher said.

Some of the kids slightly started to whisper to etcher as they tried to figure out what kind of monster he was. Ava looked up at him and gave him a welcoming smile. She watched as he went to sit back down before she looked back to the front of the class. The teacher started a lecture on how certain things could effect the concentration of keeping a human form for monster and how to avoid letting those things get in the way.

 

Once class was out Ava stood up and put her notebook back into her bag before she closed it up. She grabbed onto her bag and walked out of the class room but waited till Akio came out of the room as well. "Hello" She said with a kind smile as she looked at him. She was much smaller then him and some of her white hair hung into her eyes. "I hope the people in the school have been nice to you so far" She said as she held her back behind her back a little before asking a question, "So whats your next class?"

"Oh, hi Ava!" Akio said, "Well nobody talked to me, but they were talking about me. I didn't hear what they say though." "Today's lesson was pretty weird. I never learned that at my old school!" Akio told Ava while laughing nervously. "Oh!" Akio pulls out a piece of paper out of his pocket. It has his school schedule. He takes a looks at it. "Well it looks like I have P.E. next. What about you?"

"Im sure it was nothing mean" She said giving him another soft smile, her nose wiggling again as she took in his good sent. "Just don't let people put you down" She giggled a little before tilting her head to the side. She was very confused to why he thought that was so strange, all monsters had to go though some sort of early training. She shrugged it off before listening to his answer. "Oh, that should be fun hehe, I have art next" She said to him as they started to walk down the hall together. "Maybe we can hang out after classes?" She suggested to him as they made it to the art room with was right by the door to go outside to the gym.

"Sure thing!" chuckled Akio. "Well, I better get going. Don't wanna be late!" Just before Akio opened the door to head to the gym, he turned his head towards Ava and said "I'll see you later!" then headed through the door.

*Gosh, she's so pretty and nice! I probably don't even have a chance with her!* Akio thought.

And so time passes. P.E. was somewhat the same as his old school but the students was doing some weird stuff like one was on a wall without any support. Akio thought he was just imagining it and ignored it. Soon after, class was over. Akio waited outside of the art room for Ava to come out.

Ava gave him a nod as she placed her hand on the door knob to the art room. She watched as he started words the door that lead to then gym, seeing him turn back words her as she blushed a little. "Alright!" She said in a happy tone and waved a little before slipping into the art room. Ava grabbed her project that she was working on out of her cubby before walking over to her seat and sitting down next to her friends, witch was a witch. She spent the class period talking to her find and working on her art project.

 

When the bell rang Ava stood up and put her things back into her cubby before grabbing her bag and walking out with her fired as she told her that she would see her later. She turned to see Akio waiting for her as she walked over. "Hello" She said in a happy tone of voice. "How was P.E?" She asked before starting to walk down the hall with him. There next class didn't start for another 20 minutes, so Ava though it would be a good idea to go hang out in the court yard with him.

Akio heard a door open to the left of him. It was from the Art Room. Out from the room was Ava with her bag in hand. *Oh, there she is!* "Hey Ava!" Akio replied in a happy tone. "P.E. was.... interesting. It was like nothing I ever experienced!" said Akio with a slight delay in his voice. P.E. was sorta the same at his old school. Except that there are some weird stuff going on. "So how was Art? I bet you're really artistic since you're taking the class right?"

Ava let out a little giggle, she was never a fan of P.E. she preferred english and art classes. Ava led him out of one of the doors of the school that led to the very large court yard. There were other students there as well, some studying, others just hanging out and some just playing some card games. "I like to say I'm pretty good at art" She said with a smile as she sat down on one of the empty benches as she patted the seat next to her. "Iv always liked to draw and paint ever since I was a little girl"

Akio & Ava stepped outside. It was warm and beautiful. The wind was blowing, no clouds in the sky though the sky's color is a bit different from home. Akio saw Ava sit on one of the benches next to them and patted the seat next to her indicating for Akio to sit next her. *She wants me to sit next to her! I must be dreaming!* Akio thought and he followed her orders.

 

"Oh really now? Since you were little?!" Akio was surprised. "You gotta show me some of your drawings!" It was not often Akio gets to see the artistic work of others so perhaps this is his chance.

 

"So Ava," Akio started to ask Ava, "What made you decide to go to Rivermouth Academy? What's so special about this place?"

Ava looked away shyly as he said he wanted to see some of her work. She had never really shown anyone her art, other than her eldest brother that she was very close to. "S-Sure, I would love to show you some of my art sometime" She said looking back at him with a cute smile. This would be something new to her and she was nervous about it. Her eyes wonder around a little watching some of the other students walking by. Her attention was brought back to him once he asked her a question. "Well, Im here for what most of the students are here for" She said with a giggle before continuing. "Im here to help control my true form so we can live among the humans" She said looking at him with kind eyes.

*Great! I can see her awesome artwork! I wonder what they look like* Akio thought with a smile on his face. But then, what Ava said sparked something in his mind.

*True form? Live among the humans?* Thought the confused Akio. "W-what are you talking about? Hehehe. You're acting like you're not human. Heheh." Akio started to panic a little bit. "C'mon, you're pulling my leg right?"

Ava got a very worried look on his face as he started to look very confused and panicked. She could hear his heart stating to beat faster and faster. She could tell from the very moment he got to this school that he was not like the other monsters here, she had a feeling that he was a human, and he just proved her right. This frightened her a little but she tried to remain calm. "Come with me Akio...." She said standing up and grabbing his hand pulling him along.

 

She brought him to the forest, the one she liked to go to to read, it would be a nice quiet place to tell him with out others finding out and with out either one of them getting in trouble and thrown out of the school. "When I tell you this I don't want you to freak out alright...." She said looking up at him with scared eyes.

"H-hey?! What are you doing?!" Akio exclaimed as Ava grabbed his hand and started walking. As the two started to walk, Akio had this on his mind: *Where is she bringing me?! Another thing, her hand is so soft! I can't believe I'm holding hands with her! Wait, what am I talking about?! I'm being dragged away against my will!* Akio was actually surprised that Ava could drag him away. *Damn, she's freaking strong!*

The two of them walked off campus and into the forest ahead.

Ava stopped once they were deep enough within the forest and let go of his hand.

"Okay. Show me what you got! I can handle it (I hope)!"

Ava fiddles with the bottom of her skirt a little before looking back up at him. "Well...." She started off before swallowing hard. "This school....its meant for monsters...." She started to fiddle with her skirt more as she got more and more scared about telling him what she was. "Monsters like you hear in ghost stories, this school is meant to help us control our true forms and powers so one day we can live among humans like you..." She said before opening her mouth and showing him her sharp teeth. "Im a vampire...." She said before looking away and closing her eyes tight, scared of what he would say or do.
