Rumor has it that it's more about the licensed music. If they can they have thus far chosen not to. They want to focus on their game streaming service, so you *can* technically play PS3 games on PS4. I actually think they would be missing an opportunity by not releasing both collections at a discount on PS4 in the months leading up to KH3s release. Naughty Dog is doing it with Uncharted, Sony did it with GoW when GoW3 was new, and lots of movie studios do it when sequels and remakes are close to release. I've been thinking lately that they could make a PS4 collection before Kingdom Hearts 3, including Dream Drop Distance.
