Arcelia had disappeared from Reiner's side, deciding to explore. Bored of listening to Wolf and brother dear discuss boring things, she decided to meet people. And while a few appreciated it, some did not. After a brief scuffle that left her victorious, she liberated an apple before appearing beside the unfortunate Evelyn, leaning on her, using her shoulder as an arm rest.

"I heard we were sparring. That true, brother?" She asked, taking another bite of juicy apple flesh, rending it between her teeth. "And can I keep her?" She motioned to Evelyn. "She's kinda cute. Oh, and can I keep her?" She pointed to Catrain. "She looks cool...Oh sweet." She pointed at Brooklyn. "He has awesome hair. Let's keep him."

 

She grinned, loving to annoy her brother.

Evelyn was a bit surprised by Arcelia using her as an Armrest, but was otherwise indifferent. "Buy me dinner first, then you can keep me." She said with a chuckle, dusting off her free shoulder.

She could only smile a little at Arcelia's teasing of her brother, it was a little endearing to her.

Even if she was a person of noble heritage, as it would seem from her appearance, that mattered little in this little chess match they were planning to play. So he had fun with his pawns when he could.

"Yes, pleasure to meet you" He replied to Faaron as he turned to the others, examining the ones who spoke, he couldn't help but hear about someone wanting to keep people, with a teasing tone, and chuckling as he heard the following comments from the others, "Whats this talk about dinner?" he asked, "Just met each other and already setting up dates?" he asked sarcastically as he looked around the tent, seeing as everyone was there, the test would be about to start soon.

I'm... cool? Catrain's face turned slightly red at the compliment. That's a new one. "So... you're the princess, right? My name is Catrain. It's nice to meet you, your highness." She bowed in respect, despite the princess' seemingly more carefree personality.

(Le sigh.. poor Reiner... . In other news.. we are ready to battle!)

"Oh geez... I will never get her." Reiner muttered as he saw the rest ot the mercenaries, as he knew, her sister has a "strange way" to bond with others... even if he wish, he couldn´t hate his sister. "My name is Reiner, is good to meet you everyone." He said while nodding. Wolt followed as well. "Mi name is Wolt, is good to meet you all. Hope we can get along during our mission."

The battlefield was ready, it was a little open field area, with a few trees, on the other side, Braid was alongside his team. "So, are you ready royals? defeat my team and I will grant you my loyalty. Now, get ready!!!" 

 

BATTLE SETUP!!

 

Alright maggots, things will work like this, and I´m talking to you Carrot head! (Braid´s voice). Battles will work in a sort of hordes. I´ll sent you a group of my men to attack you each time, you need to defeat it until you reach me. Simple as that. During battle setup, you will see the number of enemy units, as well as his class and level. Stats and items are hidden from your view however, but nothing to worry about it, right little tactic man?. Anyway, your duty as tactician is to decide the order of action of your units. As example:

 

Reiner<Maggie<wolt<Yani<.... 

 

and so until you have no units left. during battle the units will attack in that order. Once started battle, the order cannot be changed, so be sure of not screwing up this one, like putting the healer first one in the line. So pich your choice; ah one more thing, during this practice you cannot see how many units my army has, so think careful.. you are blind for now. 

 

(Until Riki post the order of posting the battle won´t begin, so you can quick chat with everyone around before battle.)

Ei Ice was sitting down looking at everyone there while sharpening his sword, he then noticed a Taguel in a corner alone. 'She's a Taguel... I have never seen one before.' He thought to himself.

 

He put his sword in the sheath behind him and walked over to Yany, "Are you by any chance a Taguel..? I have never seen one before but I have heard stories about them." Ei said astounded by her.

 

Yany felt a bit surprised to see that this person approach her so easily "Y-yes, yes I am a Taguel. My name Yany man-spawn, so you've heard of my race have you? what have you heard?" said Yany curious to know. Then Yany could hear others gearing themselves for battle "I guess we will be battling any minute now" said Yany.

BATTLE BEGINS

TURN 1 - YOUR TURN

 

First wave: (1 OF 3)

Mercenaries Lv. 1 x 2

Cavalier Lv 2 x 1 (Lance)

Soldier Lv. 1 x 3 (lances)

Alright Maggots; Now battle proceedings (Braid voice again).

 

Each unit will have four basics commands during his turn, Attack, Item, Join and Defend.

Attack: alows the unit to attack the enemy, the enemy will counterattack.

Item: Usually allows to change weapon or use potion. Changing weapon won´t end your turn, however using your vulnerary (Potion), will end the turn.

Join: This allows the unit to pair up with another unit and attack at the same time. You can only join with a unit that is after your turn. After joining your turn ends, In the turn of the unit you paired with, it will have a few stat bonuses thanks to that.

Defend: You just defend and the turn ends.

 

Now some units have different commands: 

 

The cleric will have Staff command instead attack. This will allow the unit to heal damage from another unit.

Bards will have the Song ability instead of attack. However this applies in two ways: Or you can use Song to damage an enemy unit, or you use it to allow another unit who already finished his turn to move again. 

 

After all the allies post, the enemy turn will begin. The enemies will choose who unit attack based on a proxys random Excel list, whatever it is. Then when the enemy turn is over you start attacking again. and it repeats until you defeat all the waves of enemies and the boss.

 

Now lets put some example, you! great knight is your turn!

 

Format of battle:

Reiner: Attack.

"Alright! lest do this!" Reiner said as he moved as fast as he could to the first enemy he saw, a mercenary. moving his lance, he launched a direct strike towards him.

 

After posting this, I´ll reply like this:

Mercenary 1: 

HP: 5-20

Yany slightly lowered her head "Oh...those stories." said Yany starting to feel down knowing that those are the stories floating around the world about her race. But Yany quickly felt better after hearing that her race is an interesting one. Yany saw his smile & smiled back, then when Ei ice held out his hand to her Yany stared at him for a moment "Is this a trap? no, his heart beat seems calm. To think I would meet such a kind person that's ok with being around a Taguel" thought Yany "O-okay, sure thing." said Yany as she took his hand "Um...If you want I could tell you more about the Taguel's after this battle if you'd like?" said Yany nervously.

 

In Battle-

Yany stared down at the enemies we needed to defeat, "I better transform now" thought Yany as she then transformed into her werebunny form using her beaststone. Yany then decided to attack one of the 3 soldiers "Better to strike hard & fast onto one opponent then take them all on, less is better" thought Yany as she then charged at a soldier "Feel the wrath of a Taguel!" said Yany as she swung her sharp claws.
