Remember That Time a Next Gen Console Got a New Game?

Recommended Posts

I

yes

you're right

I am gathering from every console

because every console this gen is weak

PS4 is not weak dude. It's shaping up to have the biggest JRPG line up of all time in a few years.

Ah, I remember when people said the same thing about the PS3when it got released and how it didn't get any good games for a few years. Than it began to have a very good library of games. This is the same situation that the PS4 is having right now. Just give the PS4 some time guys.Every home and handheld game console starts off sluggish.

As for the coming months of this year, I do plan on getting a lot of games, like: Rare Replay, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, Dishonored Definitive Edition, Gears of War Ultimate Edition, Until Dawn, Disney Infinity 3.0, Mad Max, Metal Gear Solid V, Tearaway Unfolded, Mighty No. 9, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5, Rock Band 4, Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition, Lego Marvel’s Avengers, Transformers Devastation, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, Rainbow Six Siege, Corpse Party: Blood Drive, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Halo 5: Guardians, Need for Speed, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Fallout 4, Star Wars: Battlefront, Just Cause 3, Hitman, Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, Drawn to Death, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, Persona 5, The Talos Principle, Yo-kai Watch, and The Witness.

Sure, some of these are remasters, but I haven't played them yet aside from Uncharted Collection, which I'm pretty excited about! I have a wide range of tastes when it comes to gaming so I'm looking forward to all of these for the remaining of the year...I also have already bought too many good games this year.

In my opinion, the new consoles are doing great so far. They could do better, but they're still kind of young compared to what you're expecting from them. Just compare the quality of the games at the beggining of last gen with the ones coming out near and at the end.  xD

Most of those are playable on PS3 and at least one of those is a 3DS game. The point hatok is making is that's there's hardly any proper new gen experiences.

I dunno.... My Wii U has given me two new games in Splatoon and Yoshi's Woolly World since the end of May.

I agree that the games are slow coming though, the last new game I bought for my PS4 was Type-0 and that feels like ages ago. I'm also not counting the gap between getting Captain Toad in January to getting Splatoon at the end of May.

So far it has been nothing but reveals, although given my backlog of games I'm kind of glad that a number of games I'm interested in aren't out for another good while.

Oh, I didn't understand it like that, sorry . That's actually true, most studios should just leave last gen consoles behind and focus their games only on current gen.

Remasters are understandable as there were many people that changed console from the Wii/X360/PS3 to either an Xbox One or PS4 and haven't played those. But still, why would they even put resources on versions for last gen consoles when they're not going to do a good job or if the hardware just can't handle it without compromises? X360 has been out for 10 years and PS3 and Wii for almost 9, I think they've had their good run.  xP
