So wait, Riki, do you want the more combat oriented units in our group to team up with the support units so that they have more chance of having attacks against them blocked, and thus more likely to live through the turn, or do you want them to team up with other combat oriented units to have a higher attack and chance of counters?Please tell me if what I just said makes no sense. I have a very limited knowledge of the combat mechanics of this game, most of what I know is from you guys and Wikipedia.

More or less in this situation it's all out force for this round. Normally, I go for balancing, but we can't chance Brian or Catrain coming into a battle with high damage dealing units due to their classes granting them lower defense and HP than the typical.

Basically... al you need to do it´s hang in there until you reach the main group. There your chances of being hit are lowered... hang in there

I know, stamina first and foremost. Which is why I made it a point to say leave at least one enemy unit alive this round, because they only get one attack, keeping us fresher.

So its better that people pair up with who they have ranks with, in Team 3's case, Alexander and Catrain, Yani with Ei, and if Faaron buffs either of them, chances are very high we'l wipe the Myrmidon and Cavalier without them getting a turn, out of fear they'l attack Faaron, who has low defenses and no one to pair up with.

must have misread, well then, outcome will still be better if they pair up with who they got ranks in.

 

higher rank, higher rank of blocking and stat bonuses yeah?

 

Yeah, Faaron is the last to move in hte move list, so I got confused.

Yani taking one out is garanteed due to her obscenely high skill and speed, if she doesn't get a crit she will hit twice regardless, and if Ei can attack twice, that'd be essential too, but against two speed units like cavs and myrms I dunno, might have a double attack chance on the cavalier though.
