Upgrading to Windows 10 on the 29th?

15 members have voted

  1. 1. Will you upgrade your current Windows OS (7,8/8.1) to Windows 10 on July 29th?

    • Yes, Windows 10 Looks cool and i really want to use it
    • Yes because Windows 8/8.1 is a terrible OS
    • No because Windows 7 is the best OS
    • No because I will wait until all the bugs have been sorted out first
    • What's Windows 10? Kappa

So i've been using Windows 10 for about a month now and i am absolutely loving it. It feels like the best of both Windows 7 and 8.1; its extremely responsive, user friendly, ALMOST bug free, and its free if you already have Windows 7 or 8/8.1. If you are also a Windows Insider you get the OS right away ahead of all the people upgrading thru Windows Update on 7 or 8. Who here is going to upgrade on the 29th?

No, i won't upgrade. I'm sick of my dang computer sending me "Free W10 download!!!" messages everytime I log in.

I'm perfectly happy with 7/8 (I forget which I have), and I see no need to upgrade, and mess up my computer. I've already been told by my computer guy that 10 has a lot of bugs, and it's probably the safer option to stay put until a better download/software becomes up for sale. And the fact the download is "Full retail version, 100% free" is 100% fishy to me.

longer than I'd intended rant over, no: I'm happy with my computer and system as is, and unless they force me into it by making 7/8 not go online, I'm not upgrading.

I somewhat want to try windows 10 and see what it's like in action, but at the same time I want to make sure it's not super buggy. so I'll probably upgrade a few weeks after it comes out.

I actually need to get my PC first before I can get the upgrade. Does the 30-day trial Windows allow for a free upgrade? (Windows 7 RTM)

I will be hopping on the Windows 10 free upgrade. Many people who got the builds say it's very nice. I plan on holding off from the upgrade if it allows me though. I want to make sure the games I play will run smoothly on Windows 10 beforehand.
