International simult. release or SPOILERS

Recommended Posts

I agree but KH3 is sacred to me. If Japan gets it before us, I'll keep myself away from spoilers, unlike what I did with BBS, DDD and Re:Coded. Even after being spoiled of the story, (didn't watch cutscenes) I played those games to watch the events I read about unfold.

Nomura knows the demand for Kingdom Hearts internationally. They are not going to release the game at Japan first as that would make Disney and Square Enix lose profit on a long anticipated game!

Also, because new Kingdom Hearts 3 news will be featured in the US D23, It gives even more credence for an international release!

I am more and more convinced that this will be an international release. If I remember correctly Japan always got info before us for previous games. Trailers were dubbed in Japanese before English and websites going live in Japan before elsewhere being some examples. Yet with the KH3 release we are getting English trailers first and news is being released worldwide rather than in Japan first. So I think this may all show that the two versions of the game are on the same track.

That is not true they can make the game better if Japan is done first.

Besides all the games aren't released worldwide I guess.

It would be up to FFXV if it is going to have a worldwide release. Then high chance for KH3.

It's been confirmed that FF15 is going to have a worldwide release date.

That is true the game can be better for us in the states if Japan gets it first. Critical unforeseen bugs can be quickly fixed and in some cases extra events are added. Im thinking specifically about Kurt Zisa in KH1 and Young Xehanort in BBS. These bosses were not in the original Japanese launches but America instead got them first.

No, I disagree with this on so many levels. How can it be better if it's released in Japan first? Is it becuase of bugs? because game developers have bug testing studios anyway and considering the length of time this game took to be made, a lot of that time would be for debugging anyway.

Besides, imagine a scenario like this. Kingdom Hearts 3 gets released in Japan first and all the key news for the game get revealed to the point where you're bombarded with spoilers. Alongside this, there is an outrage of western fans because fo the fact Japan has this game first. Do you want that to happen?
