Power Jusho 1,783 Posted July 18, 2015 With the teaser at the end of 2.5's credits and Nomura's interview saying how KH3D is the only game that hasn't gotten the HD treatment, I personally thought we would see the announcement of KH3D at E3 this past June but, of course, that didn't happen. So maybe it'll be announced later this year! But the real question is: where?! Considering that KH3D wasn't a big game worth of content anyway and the game is practically designed to work with the 3DS (for things such as Spirits and Reality Shifts). Azure Flame 670 Posted July 18, 2015 I doubt it's going to happen, since it's a 3DS game, like how they didn't remix Days and Re:Coded for the 1.5 and 2.5 remixes. It's more difficult to port from DS and 3DS because of the functions of the bottom screen. They'd need to find a way to do the Dream Eater interactions, or the Reality Shifts. The game is fine as it is, and it wouldn't work on a PS4 or Xbox 1 system anyway. not with Reality Shifts, the Dream Eaters, the Faith lines, and pretty much everything else that was custom to the 3DS. Well you can any company is money hungry when make HD remasters: Naughty Dog, Santa Monica, Capcom, etc. I know how to make the touch screen features work with a controller. To activate Reality Shift, click the L3 & R3 buttons. To play with the Dream Eaters, hit X or A on the Dream Eater and then use the Left Stick to pet/rub it and the right stick to rotate them. Exiblade7 1,917 Posted July 18, 2015 (edited) due to the amount of surprise SE had for us for the past few years, it won't surprise me if they have been secretly working on DDDHD for the ps4. I think it MIGHT get announced at TGS because it is the only event that kingdom hearts 3 wasn't directly confirmed to be there, but anything can happen though. I am pretty positive that Square is able to work around those issues (neither of them being super important anyway). Nomura says it bothers him to have this title left out, so it will receive an HD treatment (cutscenes or the game) in some form or another. Not to mention that it holds too many important plot points to be left out. So DDD, a game specifically leading up to KH3, is without a doubt getting a remake on the PS4. Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted July 18, 2015 I ain't listening to any of the doubters out there, I think KH3D HD has at least some chance of happening, be it a game port or a cutscene/battle scene collection. And in terms of ANY new games in the KH franchise, typically we learn about them from TGS first, so if anything it has a better chance showing up there than anywhere else.
