wingedarcher7 8 Posted July 13, 2015 This is so heartbreaking. I know he hasn't been the best in terms of health as of late, but I didn't think it would be this bad. Iwata's affect on Nintendo and all of gaming in general is something you don't get everyday and will leave an everlasting mark on just how much he was able to bring with innovative and fresh ideas for an audience he cared so deeply about as much as they cared about him. 2 Shulk and Hero of Winds reacted to this

OmegaForte 1,674 Posted July 13, 2015 I saw this at r/amiibo and though it was a troll post. Boy when I went on FB, guess who was trending? (In the matter of minutes to boot.) Despite of how he was handling things, this was the last thing he needed. At least he did a good job throughout the past years. DragonMaster 1,166 Posted July 13, 2015 I knew he was sick, but I had no idea it was even close to being this bad. It's just so sudden. I can still hardly believe it. I may not have known the man personally, but he was responsible for much of the joy I've had in my life. Some of my best memories come from playing Nintendo games. Nintendo was also one of the few things that helped me get through the phase of my life where I had crippling social anxiety and no friends; I'm not sure who I'd be today if I didn't have my DS and Pokemon games during middle school. All of this was, in some way, guided by Iwata. He's helped bring joy to so many others as well. He had charm and personality. Perhaps his business decisions weren't always the best, but I believe the good he's done far outweighs the bad. Though I know he can't see it, thank-you Iwata. May you rest in peace. 4 Reyn, Shulk, Exilra and 1 other reacted to this
