Tails 6,692 Posted July 9, 2015 You know, since KH3 is going to have the return of the "Attack, "Magic", Items", and "Summons" command from KH1 and KH2 and the pure fact that DOnald and Goofy will be your party members again throughout the game, I think it's safe to assume that gummie ship missions/routes are returning back as well. Well if they bring it back I really want them to make building your own gummie ship completely easy to understand this time. I mean, remember back in the first game where they made gummie ship customization completely hard and conjuvolated to understand to the point where you just decided to stick with the basic gummie ship? yeah. And in KH2 they at least made up for it by giving us different kinds of gummie ships whenever you completed a gummie route. Now I'm hoping in Kh3 thye make it easy and simple to understand and make and not the opposite like in KH1. Becuase come on, who seriously understood about how to make a gummie ship in KH1 when they first played the game? 4 Exiblade7, Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀), Kittenz and 1 other reacted to this

Guest Posted July 9, 2015 Diving and Keyblade Gliding will be difficult to implement when you're travelling with Dolan and Gooby.
MickeyTheMick 175 Posted July 9, 2015 I agree with Tails. In Kh1, the gummi ship was tooooooooo difficult to build. It would literally take you hours to make a good one.
hatok 6,413 Posted July 9, 2015 KH2 already made it simple. Beat a mission, unlock a new model the actually building isn't very complicated, just tedious
Tails 6,692 Posted July 9, 2015 (edited) KH2 already made it simple. Beat a mission, unlock a new model the actually building isn't very complicated, just tedious Yeah I said that. But KH2 still let you build your own gummie ship but it was still a little difficult. But still not as difficult as KH1's gummie ship building. That's why I hope KH3's gummie ship building wil be completely simple to understand. Edited July 9, 2015 by Tails
Seeker Of Nothingness 80 Posted July 9, 2015 KH1's gummiship customization was a pain in the ass, I absolutely agree with Tails... If I have to say it, I actually never liked all of the gummiship thing but I admit KH2 made it easier to understand and more enjoyable than KH1... but keep in mind this is just my own opinion! I prefered 3D's dives and BBS's Keyblade Gliding, so I hope something similar will show up in KH3 (even if we also need to keep in kind that Donald and Goofy will follow as well)
Veemon 1,540 Posted July 9, 2015 (edited) I agree as well that KH1's gummi ship builder was kinda hard. And I do believe that people want an easier experience with the games, that's why they don't want Gummiships and instead want keyblade gliders and dives, but personally I want the gummiship routes to return! I believe that all of the home console kingdom hearts games should have gummiships. This gives more of a variety to the gameplay and gives a bit of a challenge. I mean who wouldn't want an obstacle that they need the skill to overcome? Lazy players, that's who. And plus, I enjoyed building gummiships. If they replace them somehow with a keyblade glider I at least want some sort of customization options for it. But in reality, gummiships are just flat-out stronger than Keyblade gliders. And yes, I think an easier gummi builder is necessary to allow people to fully enjoy every aspect in the game. And THAT is my opinion. Nick Sideris 1,551 Posted July 9, 2015 I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not but I think the Gummi Ship Customization in KH I was pretty easy . That was not the case in KH II , though .
Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted July 9, 2015 It's likely that Gummi travel will be back, although I have to admit I am kind of hoping that they also give us the option to use Keyblade Glider as a means of world to world transportation, as well as ground based transportation. I like the Dives, but I don't see that happening that much outside of a dream setting, but that doesn't mean that there wouldn't be any moments in the game that involve skydiving, it just probably won't be as common. If the Gummi Ship does return as the primary source of travel between worlds, then I hope for a few things. Like you said, I want them to streamline the Gummi building process and make it easier to understand and do. I mean, yeah they could have an option to do it in the oldschool or KH2 method for those who are used to it by now, but they also need to just have an option do it in a manner that feels less tedious and a bit more fun. I also hope that the new routes are even more epic than they were in KH2, really show off those PS4 visuals! Speaking of visuals, maybe now we can have the ship be a bit more...well, detailed? I mean, the original blocky look is charming and everything, but come on, we aren't in the early PS2 era anymore. But maybe the point is for it to look toylike, I don't know. I do hope however that if there are Gummi missions that THEY'RE MORE FREAKING FORGIVING, SERIOUSLY KH1 AND KH2, WHAT THE HECK!!?? I'd rather not have to keep making some giant hollow square shaped ship just to avoid taking damage and equip a bajillion blasters just to get some ludicrously high score or move around in a tiresome manner just to keep my medals! I'm not asking for them to not be challenging, I'm just asking for them to not be as demanding. At the very least, devote a blueprint to each mission just to save us all the headaches. KH4Real 749 Posted July 9, 2015 I was joking, of course it can happen  the character icons are still temporary so that section of the game is not set in stone yet. Ah I have read to fast. They might scrap it by adding multiplayer. It would be such a shame.
