Could We See "Inside Out" Appear In "KINGDOM HEARTS 3"?!

So, I Just Went To See The Movie "Inside Out", And It Got Me Thinking...

 

...Could We See It In "Kingdom Hearts 3"?  If Not A Full World, How About A Summon?

Depend on where the staff are on development and if they have enough to to model, animate and incorporate in the game in time for the realese date thet they've already decided on.

I originally didn't think it would work, but someone on GameFAQ's had a cool idea about how they could use Inside Out to have Sora sort through his memories, figure out which are his or somebody else's; find out more about the hearts inside him.

 

If Square did something like that I would be all for it

At this point it could only really be a summon.Assuming from the interviews, everything has been selected for worlds a long while ago, so at this point any potential world they would have is a lost cause.

 

Aside from that though, Im not sure how a world would work, the world that we love from Inside Out is inside Riley's head, not Sora's, so they have to essentialy make completely different characters and world for them to go into something like Sora's head( like they have to make completely different `lands` and the like), and that includes the emotions because like the film shows, the emotions of different people arent exactly alike.

 

Also it be hard to implement this movie into a world as well, mostly because Kingdom Hearts already has some "lore" when it comes to something like memories thanks to Chain of Memories. Memories are already represented as links in a chain and the game doesnt go into the idea of core memories and the like, so that gives the movie even less of a chance to make it as a world.

 

A little summon though? I think an extra month or two of work could give em a chance at making an appearence, the movie barely came out but the concept and designs of the emotions themselves have been around since 2013, and it wouldnt exactly be hard to figure out what they do since their character is essentialy their names.

 

So a summon is a possibility, but I wouldnt get any hopes up.

Pretty sure Nomura has all the worlds picked already and maybe even summons. If Nomura really wanted to maybe he could add a summon last minute. I wouldn't mind an Inside Out world though. I imagine it would be like a Monstro world except it's in somebody's head. It would be interesting too if it is in Sora's head, and somehow Sora is inside his own head, he could see the memories of Ventus and the others in his heart. (I haven't seen the movie so no spoilers plz)

I honestly think it could. I remember reading somewhere that Nomura is sometimes shown in development movies to see if he would like to use them, so he could have picked any movie that is anticipated to release before KH3. I don't personally think it will appear, but I definitely am not going to rule out the option.

Well, it was confirmed in the Playstation access video that Square get to see certain movies before their released or announced (though their more likely given a rundown of the plot and concept art if they see it before it's announced) to see if they would want it for KH, so I don't think the 'new' argument really works knowing thatDepending on how early square actually get to see the films there could be a film we've yet to hear about that could appear on KH3After all look at Chicken Little, he managed to show up in even though the film was only released a few months earlier than KH2

Well, considering that Nomura and the gang get to see these movies way before anyone else, it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility, but at the same time, I'm going to lean on no. I'd much prefer it if any Pixar property debuted in the next saga!

Since Disney worlds don't usually go with the film's oringal plot/storyline, a part of the story could be heartless are trying to infect memories and turn them into dark memories by touching the memory orbs. We have to try and stop them by going through all of the film's locations and fight heartless. That being said, I think it should be like Monstro in KH1 where there really isn't a main protaginist from the movie (I don't think there is one in Inside Out), it should just be a big heartless boss or something creative that refers to the movie. This probably won't happen but there is always a possibility of it happening.

I'm going to be the optimist here and say that this movie will appear in Kingdom Hearts 3 as a world.

 

Firstly, Square Enix has the opportunity to see Disney/Pixar movies before they are featured in Kingdom Hearts, so, they have concepts to build the assets from.

 

Secondly, out of all the Pixar worlds, this is the world that makes the most sense to be incorporated into Kingdom Hearts (even more so than Toy Story). It's all about dreams and the psyche and Sora, Joy, Sadness, Bing Bong, Donald and Goofy can battle Nightmare Dream Eaters and see Spirits in this world as opposed to heartless.

 

Also, Inside Out has already been announced for Disney Infinity. That may not be a big deal until you consider the fact that Disney Interactive (the Disney side working for Kingdom Hearts) has merged with Disney Consumer Products (Disney's toy manufacturer). This point is relevant as it shows that Inside Out can be incorporated into Kingdom Hearts 3 much quicker.

 

Finally, Kingdom Hearts has a (speculated) 2016 release. I can guarantee you that "Inside Out" will not feel too recent by then as "The Good Dinosaur" would take Pixar's spot as the most recent Pixar movie. Have hope, it will make it into the game as a world.

Chicken Little had come out in the US a month before the character debuted as a summon in the Japanese release of Kingdom Hearts II. So there IS a chance, just like with Big Hero 6!

 

Not sure how Inside Out would work with the mechanics of the Kingdom Hearts universe, what with how it deals with the mind and emotion, but...

The concepts of emotions would work perfectly in Kingdom Hearts 3. Because Riley's mind is the imaginative psyche, they can delve into dream concepts like imagination land and dream productions, and besides, this world can give a reason for Dream Eaters to return in Kingdom Hearts 3, because, they are in a Dream World. As I previously stated, If Kingdom Hearts 3 was to get a supposed December 2016 release then this world can definitely make it in.

I was thinking it could be featured kinda like Space Paranoids where it takes place inside a different character's head, or like The Grid in DDD they automatically go to Riley's head (like how Ven became automatically small in Castle of Dreams)
