hatok 6,413 Posted July 17, 2015 You can't really use contradictory rules as an example for why disney movies can't be in KH seeing as there are never really any explicit rules in any disney movie that defy reality to such a degree other than magic, but for franchises like Star Wars there are most definitely rules and lore that contradict KH due to how similar yet fundamentally different they are. Not to mention the entire concept of the force, to introduce something like that which is essentially a fundamental law in the Star Wars universe yet having it so that it doesn't truly effect the kh universe is ridiculously stupid either the force is a permeating force throughout the universe or nothing. And the story can't be limited to a Star Wars "world" because then you aren't doing the franchise justice by having it take place all on one world, but if they make it so that the Star Wars world is a bunch of world's within a world then... I don't even know after that. But if square does decide to put in a Star Wars world it would be terribly mishandled no matter what they do. Almost all the Dsiney worlds work on different levels than KH. Pirates of the Carribbean, Lilo and Stitch and Sleeping Beauty are definitely not operating on the same logic. Star Wars lore can fit in just as easily as anything else. How does The Force change things so much but things like magic and time travel don't? It's not like many people are force sensitive in the first place. And I've said it a billion times, the easiest way to do a Star Wars world would be to have the Death Star and have the Gummi Ship get pulled in That is such a disgusting assumption based on false media coverage that I do not know where to begin... Disney's original songwriters, The Sherman Brothers are Jewish. Sure, Disney did some terrible actions (such as the huge lay-offs and low pay for making Dumbo) but Jew hating was not one of them. This seems like a rant for the sake of ranting. As a Kingdom Hearts forum, we should voice whatever we want and don't want for the series regardless. There's a reason as to why certain "X" worlds won't work in Kingdom Hearts. Firstly, some of them just do not fit to the overall gameplay and plot of Kingdom Hearts or just feel too out of place. Tell me, how is "Home On The Range" going to work in Kingdom Hearts? would Sora turn into a cow just to save a farm? Not only is it hard to implement but it'd get even more negative backlash than Atlantica in Kingdom Hearts 2. Secondly, Kingdom Hearts is a Disney property (produced by Square Enix). This is why the Final Fantasy characters are not too important in the overall plot. Because of this, there are certain restrictions as to what can appear. For instance, Final Fantasy worlds or worlds from Square Enix titles would be legally troublesome for Square Enix as having a Square Enix world from another Square Enix title would dilute the fact that this is a Disney property. This is evident in Wreck-It Ralph. Ralph never visited Mario's, Sonic's or PacMan's video games despite being a movie for video games, because, that would be legally troublesome in terms of ownership of assets. Characters don't fall into that category as they are easier to place a patent upon as opposed to "environments". Finally, Nomura already gave a soft confirmation that anything outside of the Disney Interactive umbrella (Lucasfilm/Marvel/Studio Ghibli) would not be able to work for Kingdom Hearts 3 as they would have to directly contact and meet Lucasfilm/Marvel/Studio Ghibli publishers, and with the time frame and costly negotiations they have to go through, Lucasfilm/Marvel/Studio Ghibli is not gonig to be in Kingdom Hearts 3. 1-Sora turns into a cow. Sora turning into a cow would be really weird. Would he hold the Keyblade in his mouth? As a lion cub, it's adorable, as a cow, it'd be weird, in my opinion at least. Final Fantasy is not really relevant anymore. Excluding the Moogles, Zack was literally the only FF character in BBS. DDD had no FF characters. 358/2 Days had no FF characters. Cloud and Cid were the only FF characters in coded. The only games where the FF characters were relevant were KH1 and 2. 3 is possible but we can't really say anything yet for that game. The force is an explicit concept, one that the entire universe is built upon, especially when the force is essentially god and exist within all living things (sound familiar) and there is no way to spin it so that the force= kingdom hearts like some people try to say because like ive said before, star wars rules are too similar yet fundamentally different than kh's rules in regards to these two aspects. . And are you serious about not many people being force sensitive, the ONLY notable human characters in starwars movie history who are not force sensitive are han solo, lando calrissian, and boba fett(not including prequel because that would just be a bad call to use those movies seeing as it ends in a person falling to darkness), everyone else is force sensitive, Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
