Power Jusho 1,784 Posted June 30, 2015 20 years ago today, the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers the Movie came out in theaters. I love the PR series. I've seen most of the seasons, some I can barely remember because I was very young when they were airing and had reruns. And thank to Power Rangers, I'm now into Super Sentai and even Kamen Rider! I really hope that the MMPR movie coming soon won't disappoint many PR fans and I hope Power Rangers can last another 20 years and beyond! 2 RikuFangirl2008 and The Transcendent Key reacted to this
Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted June 30, 2015 As quirky and repetitive as the show is (especially as of late...) it's still a big part of my childhood and the movie, for better or worse, was a big part of that too. I plan on watching it with my younger bro tonight, who's even more into them now than I ever will be again. If only this movie were canon, but then again maybe it's good that it isn't. Either way, I am totally hyping over the remake/reboot movie and I hope that it's 10 better and even more ridiculously awesome! I also really want a good excuse to wear my Red Ranger glasses! Hope the series keeps going and keeps getting better and better!
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted July 1, 2015 Wow, 20 years already? Where did the time fly by? X_X It just goes to show you that the Power Rangers franchise has stood the test of time, and continues to be popular, at this day and age! 1 Power Jusho reacted to this
RikuFangirl2008 1,368 Posted July 1, 2015 Man.... I feel old... I barely remember some parts of the movie. Then it starts showing on TV sometimes. I remember collecting half of the Rangers and their new Zords and my younger brother had the other half. I also remember having the communicator and the morpher. Sadly, I don't have them anymore. I wish I kept them, especially the Frog Zord. I would've asked Johnny Young Bosh to sign it. But I did get him and Lord Zedd (Robert Axelrod? I think that's his name.) to sign a White Ranger Series: Season 2 VCR Tape, about 5 years ago. I don't even remember if Ivan Ooze scared me when I was little. Probably not. I was probably grossed out, by him. I also do remember the collectible cards available inside a Jello box. Good times.
