KHLegendIII 709 Posted June 30, 2015 (edited) Guys, we may just be getting another main installment of Metroid Prime someday, and this is big. Look at this information.: A lot of people were genuinely disappointed yesterday to find out that the Metroid title that they had all been hoping for didn’t appear. In its place we received Metroid Prime Federation Force, which wasn’t the game many were expecting. IGN caught up with Metroid Prime producer Kensuke Tanabe to find out what is going on with the Metroid Prime franchise as a whole during which Tanabe also discussed possible ideas for future games in the Metroid Prime series. . “I said this at the beginning, but I’m not involved in the 2D Metroid games that [Yoshio] Sakamoto works on,” Tanabe said. “I still feel like there’s a little more work left for me to do in the Metroid Prime series. I can’t say when, but I want to make another one.” “He’s actually chasing after Samus, and that’s where that game ends,” Tanabe said. “There’s still more I want to build around the story of Sylux and Samus. There’s something going on between them. I want to make a game that touches upon [it].” “I’m also thinking that, in that eventual game between Sylux and Samus that might get made, that I wants to involve the [Galactic] Federation as well,” he said. “So it would be a good idea to release a game like Federation Forces to flesh out its role in the galaxy before moving on to that.” Thanks, That Greyhound Guy Source: http://mynintendonews.com/2015/06/17/metroid-prime-producer-says-he-really-wants-to-make-another-one/ Tanabe also confirmed that the mysterious ship pursuing Samus in Metroid Prime 3's 100% ending was piloted by Sylux. Isaix 924 Posted July 1, 2015 Well that's good to hear. Not sure who this Sylux guy is though, I never played Prime Hunters, but it all sounds interesting.
Shulk 8,623 Posted July 1, 2015 I honestly think Prime 4 isn't too far away. I'd be surprised if there isn't a new main-series Metroid game on the Wii U or NX.
