Klonoa the Dream Traveler 678 Posted June 27, 2015 Tons of characters from Final Fantasy and TWEWY has visited the Kingdom Hearts series. Shouldn't the Kingdom Hearts series do the same? It's not a two-way street. Kingdom Hearts is a crossover universe that allows multiple characters from multiple franchises (owned by either Disney or Square) to be incorporated into it's ever-expanding mythos...but no other gaming universe is like that, save for obvious answers like fighting games. (Super Smash, PS All-Stars, Soul Caliber, Mortal Kombat, etc.) So, no, Kingdom Hearts should not visit other franchises, only the other way around. Guest Posted July 5, 2015 The original characters are Disney property. Notice how in the trailer and screenshots, it states Disney ©. This means that Disney owns the rights to the original Kingdom Hearts characters. It's just Square Enix creating and developing them. Which means to say, they cannot appear in any other games unless Disney gives the approval (like Wreck-It Ralph in Sonic All Stars Racing). With the merging of Disney Interactive (the Disney side helping to make the game) and Disney Consumer Products.
