teetee 5 Posted June 27, 2015 Okay, I noticed that Nomura said something interesting during an interview, I think it was the Kingdom Hearts Event, during E3. He said that he talked to Disney about what worlds he could reveal. Since they officially announced Tangled and that was it, I wondered if maybe one reason they are being so quiet about the worlds was because a certain movie(s) hadn't come out yet. The first movie that came to my mind was Star Wars The Force Awakens since they are trying so hard to keep it from being spoiled. I know it's a theory that KH III is coming out in December of 2016. If that is true it will be coming out the same time as Star Wars Episode 8. Having a Star Wars world in the game can be very good publicity, especially if they are using the new characters. Like I said though Disney has a ton of movies coming out before December 2016. Several Marvel movies, In and Out, and numerous more... Any thoughts on this? I thank and respect you for that. I'll continue on posting this until the message is clear. I didn't make any of this up, this was from the creator himself. Star Wars has a lore far too strong to just be placed in one world. That's disrespectful to the Star Wars franchise. And it's impossible to integrate it to the main storyline effectively. Oh well, but that I wasn't the interview I was talking about nor was that the question I was curious about. I was just using them as examples because they are so popular. So any of their animated unreleased movies are still possible. Inside Out The Good Dinosaur Moana - her movie is slated so come out in late 2016. Just in time for the game if the theory is right. I don't ever expect to see the films in the KH games but it seems like they may go for adapting the cartoon shows. Not because the movies haven't been released, but because Disney is the hierarchy in this process, and what they say goes. Tetsua Nomura did state that they see screenings of movies before they're released to the public. This movie comes out in March 2016. There's a "slim" possibility for this world to be featured for Kingdom Hearts 3. I'd love Inside Out to be in Kingdom Hearts 3 if Pixar properties are in the game. As this is in the mind of Riley and we go to Dreamland Production, we should fight Nightmare Dream Eaters instead of Heartless and battle Jangles The Clown! And when you think about it, it makes sense! But, if Star Wars were to be integrated into Kingdom Hearts III, I have a theory on how that would work out! If there were a Star Wars world in KHIII, the story of the world would take place in Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and in the next saga, we could have the time gap between KHIII and KHIV be ten years so that the Star Wars story can progress ten years into Episode II: Attack Of The Clones, you know what I'm saying? Or, another wise decision would be to use material from the original trilogy, but hey, it's not up to me, so I'm really not sure how things would work out! You know what, why not have an entire Kingdom Hearts game dedicated to the Star Wars franchise? And for marvel they can just stick with the space stuff like GOTG or Asgard But I'm not sure Star wars would be possible since Disney(god knows why) gave EA exclusive rights on a star wars games for console.
