z_patrick_o 4 Posted June 27, 2015 As everyone knows after completeing worlds KH games, you would usually be rewarded with a Keyblade that contains certain powers/abilities. Not to mention a distinct look of a Keyblade from a specific world that reflects that specific world somehow. Though only 3 worlds have been confirmed for KH3, I was wondering your guy's ideas for the new Keyblades in KH3. Post some Keyblade Ideas, with different powers or transformation ideas! Upload some pictures of what you think could work in the game and would look great if Sora were to use it in battle! Get inspiration from the Disney films you love and incorperate a unique Keyblade that would be worth unlocking after completing that world! I don't know if there's a thread on this already so sorry if there is!
Azure Flame 670 Posted June 27, 2015 They need to make a frying pan Keyblade for the Tangled world, they just have to. That was a staple in that movie, even in the ending when all the guards swapped their swords for frying pans. Not sure what the transformations or abilities would be, but they need to do this. 2 Robbie the Wise and VisitJoan reacted to this

This need to happen Square Enix! Step to it! I personally though that the new Star Keyblade displayed in the trailer was associated with Toy Story. The centre star reminds me of Woody's badge! Guest Posted June 29, 2015 Zues lighting bolt keyblade for Mount Olympus. Props to you for your originality. If there's a Big Hero 6 world then I believe that a Krei Tech industry keyblade is needed.
Azure Flame 670 Posted June 29, 2015 Well, if you look at the E3 trailer, you'll see that there is a keyblade for Mt Olympus that turns into the chariot, though it does appear to have Zues's fist and a lightning bolt.

Elizabeth Mendes 31 Posted July 2, 2015 Yeah, he was. I wonder what world the Star Keyblade from the recent trailer comes from? Do you have a good picture of it, if i look i might be able to make an educated guess I literally asked some one at work what Disney movie that this keyblade reminded them of and they said Aladdin >_>;;;;
Azure Flame 670 Posted July 3, 2015 It makes me think of Toy Story, the star is similar to Woody's sheriff badge, and it can turn into guns, which cowboys use. 1 Elizabeth Mendes reacted to this

That actually a good thought process right there. 1 Master Eraqus reacted to this

Guys, remember how Woody and Buzz were supposed to be summons for Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix but then got cancelled because of the Disney Pixar dispute at the time? Well, seeing as John Lasseter is the Chief Creative Officer for both companies now, I'm making an educated guess that a Toy Story world is confirmed. You guys' observation for the Keyblade alongside its transformations pretty much seals the deal now. Besides, another transformation of the Keyblade is a "rocket" launcher that shoots a "star" ball. That practically screams "BUZZ LIGHTYEAR"! Edited July 4, 2015 by Guest
twilight_roxas 326 Posted July 4, 2015 Was on deviantart, and found these. Not for worlds but for DLCs. Yes one is based off marvel, Star Wars, Indiana Jones and the others are based off Disney attractions.. Credit goes to DaBurinator.
Swordinger 110 Posted July 4, 2015 (edited) Actually, that Keyblade is a reference to Kingdom Hearts χ[Chi] since the token is pretty similar to the Starlight, the default Keyblade of that game. What I'd really like is for this new Keyblade to be some kind of counterpart of Xehanort's Keyblade, two Keyblades directly from the Age of Fairytales, one symbolizing Light, the other one symbolizing Darkness.Wouldn't it be awesome to see this two Keyblades in the final clash between Guardians and Seekers? *ç* Edited July 7, 2015 by Swordinger

It hasn't been officially confirmed to be connected to the Starlight, only speculated. And besides, the Keyblade used in the trailer has a very action-figure texture and design towards it. Alongside that, the Star looks like a Sheriff's badge rather than the Starlight's star, therefore, it seems more reasonable to believe that the Keyblade may be from a supposed Toy Story world rather than a Starlight upgrade. Yeah, it could be possible. However, consider this. This was probably the original version of the Keyblade we're talking about. I don't know if maybe Nomura decided to change it because he wanted to use it for a Toy Story world or that is being changed just esthetically without any connection with such world. This is a good point, but Nomura has been known to change things in between concept faze and development, just like he did with the final boss battle in KH2, he originally had two other Xemnas forms to fight, even had pictures for them, but scraped them. The star in the Keyblade now looks more like an old west's Sheriff Badge than it does this keyblade. It's not a huge leap for the development team to be like "We want this, but we want it to be connected to a Disney/Pixar World.
