The Seven Deadly Sins: From the Ashes (Sign-Ups and Discussion)

Yo guys, a little side project from Yuffie. This isn't meant to be as large scale or intensive as things like Skyline, The Amnesia Games, or The Tirain Pieces, but a much smaller scale free play RP in the world of The Seven Deadly Sins manga/anime. You don't have to know the world to join in though, I'm welcoming everybody!

The Seven Deadly Sins

It has been 1000 years since the Seven Deadly Sins stopped the rise of the Demon Clan and saved the world. Since then, Liones and Camelot have been given time to rebuild and gain more and more strength. Now the only two nations left on the continent, it is only a matter of time until war breaks out between the two superpowers. Ultime the King of Liones and Gawain the King of Camelot have been continually attempting to stitch relations between the nations back together, but the people and nobles of both nations have developed an overwhelming hatred towards one another. Tensions rise, and war is soon to ignite. And when it does, none will be safe.

 

Aside from the continual rise of the Human Clan's nations, the nonhumans have also been steadily thriving. The Fairy Clan and the Giant Clan both hold treaties with both the Human nations, and live in peace away from the rest of the world. However, very recently, trouble has arisen in the lands of both clans. Civil war seems imminent due to the actions of Sezier the Giant and Multius the Fairy slowly gaining the favor of the people away from the rightful rulers. Sezier and Multius are suspected to be not only working together, but with an unknown outside force.

 

Nothing has been heard from the Demon Clan since they were sealed away by the Seven Deadly Sins 1000 years ago. However, there are rumors that a few of the lesser demons have escaped the seal and live sequestered away from the rest of the world. There are also those who say that these demons have interbred with humans, creating powerful half-breeds. So far no cases of corruption from demon blood have been reported, though it is possible that certain people have found a source for the potent transformation agent.

 

The Goddess Clan remains mysterious. It is said that they died out millenia ago, but the bloodline remains to this day, often present in the Royal Family. Their power is just as incredible in the fractions that their descendants can use as it was 1000 years ago when Princess Elizabeth used it as a key factor against the demons. Recently though, more and more people have been turning up with the ability to wield the Goddesses power. What is the scariest though, is that these newborn half-divine are more often than not incredibly corrupt and evil. Multiple Holy Knights are needed to take down even one of these cruel half-divines.

 

Yesterday, there was a border incident where several Holy Knights from Camelot invaded a Liones village and began to slaughter the inhabitants. They were only stopped when a corrupt half-divine was awoken. The entire village, all inhabitants, and the invading Holy Knights were all slaughtered by the half-divine, who then vanished. In the wake of this event, and the nearly guaranteed declaration of war, Ultime has called for the formation of a new group of deadly sins. Seven incredibly dangerous criminals, convicted each of a deadly sin, assembled into a group of knights that Ultime hopes will save not only the kingdom, but restore peace to the world. Will they? That's up to you I suppose.

Rules:

1. Follow the KH13 general and roleplaying rules

2. Please have legible writing. I don't ask perfection, just enough to be able to make sense of it. I may deny you if you don't show such ability in your sheet

3. Post as often as you like and have as many characters as you can handle! I only ask that you stay with one Deadly Sin per user for now, until we get to the point that the RP is about to start.

4. If you are a human, you get to have one magical ability (such as Snatch or Gilthunder's electricity) or the ability to practice magic as a sorcerer/druid (in which case you'd be limited in strength). As one of the other 4 clans, you can have all the abilities that each race has, but nothing extra.

5. Be interesting! We don't want a bunch of boring cliches do we? Be as creative as you want, especially if you're a Sin

6. A Sin character should in some way represent their Sin, hopefully through their behavior, but also through whatever got them convicted of a crime in the first place.

There aren't powers specific to the sin, only powers specific to the race. If you want to be a human, there is basically no limit to the amount of choices you have as powers, anything you want, you just have to choose one. Want fire? You can have fire. Want beyond normal strength? You can have it. Laser beams? They're yours. You just can only have one.Also as a note, any humans played are allowed to have beyond normal capabilities. Like incredible acrobatics, speed, and strength are all given, so if you want even more as a power, then make a note of how fast or strong or whatever.

Personality: She is usually happy-going and kind, charming people with ease. However, she is what is know as passive-agressive, that she will be calm about something, holding it in before letting it go and becoming violent. She is always hungry, never really full. She has to have at least a snack with her, otherwise she will constantly complain of how hungry she is, becoming over dramatic. Though she prefers to eat eatable stuff, she will try to eat uneatable things to see how they taste, and to fill her stomach. Her hobby is cooking.

Sin: Gluttony

Race: Fairy

Bio: Conchita was a gentle fairy raised with grace and care. She was very well loved among her family and community, living in comfort within a mansion. However she was born with what can be classified as Prader-Willi syndrome, leaving her always hungry, regardless how much she ate. Her family of course, concerned for her, restricted her snacking, only feeding her what they considered to be an enough amount. The feeling of hunger became too much, luring Conchita down a dark path. She killed her parents and servants,  and ate them up. Sometimes raw, sometimes cooking them up. After she had run out of servants and family, she started to kill other people to eat. This went on for a long while, looking for new tastes as she went on to eat entire families, one after another. It would take a while before she was caught red handed (quite literately there was blood everywhere), in the mid of eating up the intestines. Though originally not considered as dangerous without a weapon, they tightened the security after she lured a guard in and bit him on the neck, ripping skin and veins, killing him through blood loss before eating him up for dinner. She won't eat people she considers important, or that she likes being around. However having a snack when around her is suggested.

Sacred Treasure: Spirit Belzeebub's Axe (A large axe that can change from one handed weapon to two)

Abilities:

• Heart/Mind Reading: The ability to read into the minds and thoughts of others.
• Longevity: The average lifespan of a Fairy is between 1000 to 1500 years.They do not suffer the symptoms of mortality like humans, they do not age, get sick and can only die by external factors like murder. Even after they have died their bodies do not decompose and rot so they keep their appearance all through their life.
• Levitation: They also possesses the ability to levitate and are capable of flight. They have demonstrated great skill in using it and are able to move quickly through the air. Levitation of surrounding objects and people has also been demonstrated.
• Transformation: An ability that allows a user to alter their physical appearance and apparels. It requires a great amount of concentration and reduces a fairy's power when utilizing this ability. It leaves the user somewhat exhausted, however, King and Helbram are able to maintain their transformations for a very long period of time.
• Strengthened jaw: Due to her eating all sorts of things, including none eatable since very young,  aw has developed to be stronger than usual. While most people's bites can cause surface injury, her bite can penetrate through skin and down to muscle and bone, if biting hard enough. She is able to bite through most materials, and is able to chew most materials. Being able to digest it is another matter.
• Beast's Teeth: Her teeth, though looking normal, are actually sharp as knives, making it easy for her to rip things apart with her mouth. If she bites your finger playfully, you'll most likely either lose it or will need a few stitches to get it back.
• Lightning Magic - An ability that came with the sacred treasure. Sparks and electricity can be manipulated. Along with lightning from an current storm.

Name: Tanya Silvia Irvine (Formerly Miyu Mizushima, abandoned.)

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Appearance:

With crimson red eyes due to Blood Magic usage. And her Talisman is fixed to her scarf.

 

Personality: Aside from her tendency to envy others for what they have, Tanya is a very well-spoken and polite person to those she views as friends or important officials, as she feels having standards is more honourable and is more helpful in the long run. And while flirtatious and an extrovert, as well as outgoing, she is highly light-fingered and very selfish when committing such acts, only thinking about herself and no one else when she really wants something. She is no coward, never backing down from a fight or any kind of challenge, which makes her somewhat reckless, not always taking into account the risks involved. However, she does not show any mercy toward any person who does her any kind of wrongdoing against her, no matter how minor, especially if it involves stealing or even someone reclaiming something she takes. While having a strong sense of honour, she is not above pilfering any and all objects and items belonging to her opponents or any unsuspecting member of the public. The only people she will not steal from are her friends. Due to past experiences, she has developed sadistic tendencies and a blood lust, especially for those who try to take back stolen objects.

Sin: Envy

Race: Human

Bio: Growing up in a lower-class family, Tanya, formerly known as Miyu, was not exactly the most fortunate of sorts, living with a very poor family with terrible spending and money-managing habits, keeping them in a constant state of depravity and frequent moments of them having no money to buy food or anything. While she managed to keep quite a few positive personality traits as she grew up, she could not help but develop strong feelings of envy towards those who had it better than they did, be it lower-class families with more money, higher-class families, celebrities or anyone that was rich or well-off. She soon turned to thievery, pickpocketing bystanders, breaking and entering, robbing stores and pretending to be homeless and begging for change from the kind-hearted. It was originally with just intentions, so her family allowed it as it helped them, but over time she began to enjoy stealing from others, she even felt like she was getting off on it, which corrupted her intentions and she began stealing more than usual and only for herself. Eventually she became a little too invested and was confronted by someone she had taken property and money from who had every intention of retrieving it, the idea of which causing her to freak out for she had claimed his items as hers and they belonged to her, which caused her to snap and fight him off. He resisted but this only drove her further to the point where she brutally murdered him....and she realized that she enjoyed it, for she had claimed his items for herself by ending his life. Unable to suppress her urges to kill or steal and feeling ashamed, she told her family what she did, hoping there was something that could be done to help. However, the second they mentioned returning all stolen items, the words ringing in her mind as it happened, she did not want to accept the idea of such things and killed her entire family in rage. She knew she could never go back after this point, so she ran away and discarded her old identity naming herself Tanya, her surnames came later, becoming an envious thief who would kill those who resisted her. She has always sought a bigger and better purpose, hoping that something she takes can actually grant her this wish...only time will tell.

Sacred Treasure: Blood-Rune Talisman. (Powered by blood sacrifices, enhances magical power.) Image:

 

Abilities:

Sorcery: Due to her stealing many, many books, runes and scrolls that grant magical power, Tanya is a masterful sorceress, using Conjuration, Alteration, Illusion and the Elements to attack opponents and for other purposes. She can create Dark Portals to transport herself and others to far locations or to aid in combat, create Bound Weapons such as Swords, Daggers, Axes, Hammers and others made from Magical Energy which are effective but can be broken and disappear after a set period, heal herself and others, using magical energy to protect herself, can use telekinesis to lift small objects up to people but nothing obscenely heavy or large, can sense the presence of living beings, can cause temporary emotional hysteria in others using Illusion via Fear, Rage or Serenity, can use Fire, Ice, Water and Lightning to a great extent with a variety of spells and can lay down magical circles that can enhance her powers, heal herself or toughen her defences. She is even a practitioner of the forbidden arts of Sorcery known as Blood Magic, using her Talisman and a Blood Sacrifice from herself or by consuming the blood of others, Tanya can gain a boost in power, strengthening her magical abilities and altering some of their properties, can use life-draining spells, blood-based offensive powers which require further blood be sacrificed and can control or influence others with a combination of her Illusion and Blood Control, but this requires great focus and is very straining. Blood Magic in general is also rather straining on her, especially if used excessively, so she saves it for when things get really rough.

Personality: Doesn't really care for others, selfish, a himedere. Prideful. She's the sin of pride. Is that enough?

Sin: Pride

Race: Human

Bio: Ren lived in an upper class life by the name of Kaori, however that name she does not use anymore, and has drastically changed in appearance and personality since then. 

Ren was always so happy with her life...and around the age of 15, she started changing. She started becoming excessively prideful of her families richness and class. So much that she started demanding all to treat her like a queen and would not stop. 

She got to the point of not caring for others, stole most of her families income, and left the house, killing her mother as she did so. Mainly because her mother was so against Ren's pride. 

Ren used that money to buy her the best house, one better than her parents, and started robbing mines and musems from all their purple gems. She has these gems today, because the person the police is looking for goes by the name of Kaori, not Ren, and Kaori looks nothing like she does today, as a different person possessed by sin with a new name.

Sacred Treasure: Ren was given a light-weight sword with a black blade and a amethyst wrapped handle.  

Abilities:

Persuasion- Ren is able to persuade people very easily, and it requires great focus to avoid these persuasions.

Increased Strength and Speed- Ren has increased strength and speed.

Queen Aura- Ren posses an aura that allows people to treat her like a queen if she posses them with it.

​Mineral Manipulation- Ren is able to control, move around, create, and fight with any purple mineral. She is also able to manipulate rock and stone.

Age: 193 (looks like he's on his twenties)

 

Gender: male

 

Appearance:

 

 

Personality: Honorable and respectful, however, extremely short on temperment and gets ticked off EXTREMELY easy, he respects those close to him, however due to his temper, he barely ever is calm, and will sometimes be rude, bold and sarcastic in order to vent, he doesn't mean it in a bad way most of the time, but he does it anyway, hard to socialize with others, and has very few friends, however what little friends he has he is extremely protective of. He is the first to start fighting if necessary, and will not back down.

 

When angered, nothing will stop him from either beating up or destroying whatever it is that ticked him off, most of the time being extremely reckless in the execution, rushin into the middle of a group of enemies is a common tactic to vent anger, he loves to fight with a passion, always itching to do so.

 

He however does not enjoy killing, specially innocents and unarmed people, even in his most rage filled moments, he will not dare touch innocents of his friends, unless he has lost complete and utter control of himself. He won't hold back on killing enemies, especially if they hurt anyone, specially children, and whoever did that will face the bulk of his wrath.

 

Sin: Wrath

 

Race: Half-divine

 

Bio: Warning, very dark.

 

 

Even though Markus is half-divine, he was never evil, or corrupt, which surprised many upon meeting him, he lived a quiet life as a wandering swordsman, improving his swordsmanship and fist fighting with many he encountered who seemed to be a skilled fighter during his travels, it was however, a few years ago, that he settled down and started a family, with a little girl called "Maya" and his dear wife "Jane", he lived a quiet life, however, still taking jobs like a normal wandering mercerany would.

 

He always had a short temper, and was quickly to rush into the middle of the fray in the middle of any fight that might happen, he loved fighting, much to his wife and daughter's worry and dismay, he began to face anger issues, quickly lashing out at others for the slightest of problems, however he NEVER lashed out on his wife nor his daughter, always acting calm, but sometimes bold, honest and sometimes even rude to them, but they knew he didn't mean it, however, his anger only got worse when tragedy striked.

 

Upon returning to his home, he was assaulted by bandits, who promptly incapacitated him, breaking his leg and his left arm as they took Maya away and killed Jane right in front of his very eyes, taking him with them as well, to a secluded area, these people were old enemies of his, he angered during his travels, for beating their leader in a fist fight, and they took it out on his family, he spent three days in confinement with his daughter, however, it was in the third day that they killed her, in front of him, much like his wife, this caused him to snap and lose it completely, breaking his bindings with pure strenght, and ignoring the pain of the broken arm and leg, several bruises and one large cut to the right side of his waist, he attacked every single one of the men responsible, showing no mercy, ignoring any blows they landed on him on pure rage alone, those who fought died, and those who cowered and didn't, died as well, his wrath knew no bounds, and somehow, it powered him the more it grew.

 

It wasn't long until the whole area was destroyed by his unending rage, none of the men survived, covered in blood, he took his daughter's body, and gave her a proper burial, before walking off and wandering again, after several weeks of tracking down the leader of the group he finally found where he was living, and he tore through his base the same way he did on his escape, and murdered every single one in there as well, he has, since, calmed down quite a bit, but still very easy to anger.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sacred treasure:

 

The rage amulet: A pendant that stores his wrath, allowing him to better control his temper and utilize it during battle, boosting several of his abilities, when charged enough Markus can enter a "Frenzy" state which he deactivates the pendant for a short time, allowing his full wrath to be released, dramatically boosting his abilities, but hurting him in the process, as this power is self destructive at best.

 

In the off chance he loses complete control the pendant will begin to gather power, in order to shock him back to his senses, and if one can land a hit on it, physical or magic it will absorb the blow and cause the shock faster, allowing for quick control.

 

Abilities:

 

Energy projection: Bright red energy that is seen around him and his amulet when he's angry, this energy is often confused with fire, but it is even more wild and uncontrolled, but extremely powerful, able to destroy or flat out disintegrate matter if focused and strong enough, extended use brings a lot of strain to his body, this power can be used both in ranged combat and close combat, combining it with his swordsmanship techniques and even strenghten his endurance by creating a energy shield around him.

 

Inhuman human strenght and reflex: Markus has inhuman strenght, reflex and speed due to being half-divine as well as several years of training, able to use his sword (shown in his appearance) effortlessly, and swing it as if it was a wooden sword, the more he fights, the more rage he accumulates, the more rage he accumulates, the more physical power he gains, and able to stand up to giant's strenght when charged enough.

 

Healing factor:r Being half divine has its perks, one of them being the ability to have faster healing than normal humans, although slower than a half-breed or pure demon, the regeneration works well, allowing him to recover from injuries sustained in battle with ease.

 

High durability: Markus's anger and wrath, if charged, are high enough for him to ignore pain and withstand blows that would normaly incapacitate others, although his regeneration and healing is slow, he doesn't care, as this durability of his can keep him on the fight for longer, the pain forming into even more wrath, which acumulates within the pendant, he knows not when to back down, and can die from the sheer ammount of injuries sustained, even though he can ignore pain.

 

Frenzy: A state of pure rage Markus can enter when his pendant is charged up enough, releasing his full wrath upon the enemies, entering a frenzy state, in which he loses most of his senses, only his hatred and anger remain as his strenght and speed are massively boosted, this lasts for a short time, and can cause heavy strain to Marku's body, even leading to a short term coma if overused, and in the case full control and attacks his allies, they will need to either wait it out until it runs out, knock him out, or charge his pendant.

Expect a lot of screaming in rage

 

If he seems overboard, keep in mind that he ignores ALL restrictions his body has, he can very easily hurt himself fighting, he gives absolutely no damns about his own safety.
