Drive Forms returning?

      Destructoid was able to interview Tetsuya Nomura and ask him if Sora's new attire was able to change forms. He responded, "Yes. Form changes are being considered to bring back. I have enjoyed making different designs for different abilities in the past."

   

    This makes me so excited because Drive Forms are my all time favorite feature in any Kingdom Hearts title. If they were to return, which forms can you see being brought back? Which forms would you rather Nomura leave out? Or perhaps maybe new forms? I'd like to hear your ideas on this news.

They should return limit form and get rid of final form.

I feel like if previous forms are brought back, it'll be kinda like Lightning's roles in ff13-2's DLC

Like the normal Commando role is upgraded to the Paladin role for Lightning. I could see wisdom and valor coming back but as enhanced versions with new names

I would really like for them to come back! I love Drive Forms too! The ones I would most like to return would be Valor Form, as Well as Master Form. I hope we can also get a lot of new Drive forms as well!

I want the Final Form and the Master Form to come back because they are my favorite forms. Especially the Final Form because I love to fly around. The Drive forms are so cool in Kingdom Hearts 2.

I wonder if anti-form will come back and they'll say anything about it.  It's such a cool form, albeit annoying.  Yet no one seems concerned that Sora occasionally turns into a heartless-like creature.

I think people were upset because sometimes you really depended on a certain form, then you get anti-form. It can be frustrating in boss battles. But outside dire battles, it can be really cool and helpful considering the form is lightning fast.

I wouldn't think Valor, Master or Final Forms would be as much fun without Dual-Weilding. But Limit Form, Limit Form II and Limit Form 3D could be interesting, Limit Form 3D could make Free Run (Flowmotion) more powerful and gain EXP with each Flowmotion Attack you do. Maybe Limit Form II can do something similar with Reaction Commands. They've been a gameplay staple since KH2 so I'm sure they're returning. Also, give us a green Mickey Mouse form, that seems to be the most popular fan-made form.

Maybe, his old Kingdom Hearts 2 attire is for Drive Forms whilst his new Kingdom Hearts 3 attire is for Attraction Flow.

I'd say get rid of Wisdom form, it was my least favorite form. I'd like the idea of all new drive forms though. Something new to add with a brand new game.

I know it would never happen, but imagine him wielding two keyblades and having their transformations work with each other. That would be so sick.

• Drive Form for his Kingdom Hearts 2 outfit.
• Upgraded Drive Forms for Wisdom and Valor but make Valor more brutal to show off simply brawn and Wisdom Form to be like it is with cooler magic animations and skills.
• No Form which turn him into something like a Nobody plus Anti Form return. Both will be as horrible as Anti Form in KH2.
• Drive Form which turns him into a tank. Able to withstand a lot of attacks when in need.
• A Final-like Drive Form which will be the most badass and most broken in the game.

 

BUT what I want the most is just a single Drive Form which will change Sora into his KH2 outfit and through it he will be able to access the Drive Forms from  the previous games through Limits in the Shortcut Menu. Kind of like Limit Form which used the Limits from KH1 through the Shortcuts.

 

 

BUT I wouldn't mind Drive Forms not being in KH3 because I'd like the game to focus more on totally new features instead of reusing old ones.

I know that I might be the only one to differ here, but if Drive Form means not showing the Command Style then I would prefer not having any Drive Forms at all.

However, since Command Style was never confirmed and Drive Form was confirmed, I am hoping for the Command Style and wish for a Drive Form that has the same idea as Limit Form. In addition, if I were to remove any old ones I would prefer not having any of the old forms to make the game unique with its new different forms that were never shown before.
